Ghost in basement

This is a story about me well my sister but I'm writing about it. One night me and my sister were playing around and then we heard and seen that the light was on in the basement and there was rummaging around so we thought it was our mom in her little area in the basement so we said mom no reply we kinda got nervous but we were like maybe she didn't hear us so we called again turns out she was upstairs so we started freaking out screaming for her she immediately got up ran downstairs to us and said what happened we told her so we were all freaking out so we still don't know if someone had broken In or maybe.. it was a ghost.
