“Go now,” Dastan herded. The frightened spectators hurried through the debris ridden exit while Dastan kept an eye on Xeadulous. A little girl emerged from the crowd curiously tugging his pants leg. She stared up at him with wide beaming eyes of joyful thanks. “Stay away from him, Leana!” The girl’s father yelled. Dastan turned and smiled at the little girl. “Thank you,” she whispered. “You’re welcome.” The girl’s father stared at Dastan suspiciously as he grabbed his daughter. “Go now! Get your daughter away from here.” “Thank you. Get a few good ones in for me,” the man replied. Dastan nodded and returned his attention to Xeadulous. The man fled the coliseum with his daughter in his arms and the arena returned to silence. “Not bad, Dastan. You managed to save them. Well done. B
