The Rising of the First Queen under a Blood moon.
I strode slowly, Aiser by my side. Swallowing I stole another look at his human form, remembering our many memories together including the terrifying wolf I'd met in the dreamscape many months ago, but it didn't match to the father I knew beside me. Aiser stood tall at least 6'4 slim built, his milky white eyes contrast to his midnight black hair, that shone slicked back against his head. His skin was not pale but not tanned, and his eyelashes were longer then any male being should be allowed to have, his straight backed stride; looked effortless on his behalf, though I suppose after a millennia of existence it should be graceful and flawless. I looked forward once more, remembering Vilkas's presence at my heels, I smiled feeling calmed by his presence. Akal was my true name, and though I'd had thousands of name since I'd first re-encarnated, I wasn't ready to let go of my life as Ivy, it had been one of turmoil, new experiences, sufferings, friendships, learning and fated love. Straightening, I flicked my wrists, earning a hiss of warning from my clasped cloak, I frowned but didn't react otherwise. We stopped before 2 large wooden door, I recognised from a long dusted memory, we had arrived at the dining hall, and I could already sense many waiting inside. Aiser smiled at me before stepping forward, I nervously closed my eyes for a moment before watching as the door swung open before us. I swallowed inperceptibly in awe as at least 30 'beings' for lack of a better word turned in my direction. They stood in unison before I could react, bowing lowly. "Our Queen Returned." Broc POV The whispers couldn't be ignored tonight as Brennus urgently called to me, I couldn't shut the door no matter how I tried, so finally I relented. "Brennus" I whispered in invitation, flinching as I felt myself fall through the door of the dreamscape. I opened my eyes to find him in his human form for the first time since my first shift. "Ivy and Akal are one in the same." He breathed, my heart stopped, I choke on the breath in my lungs, as a distant long buried memory resurfaced, the memory of my first love 20 years before the cursed night with goddess. "Akal?.." I whispered, recalling the ghostly white beauty had once floated into my life at my first shift as my first love and then out again without a trace. A memory so old and tarnished, I'd near forgotten, but how could I have? Now like a polished window I could see her clearly, her eyes the same as Ivy's how had I not recalled her, I suppose the goddess had clouded that memory too. I looked to Brennus, whom waited patiently, clearly having more to say. "What about her?" I asked curiously. "Seems she wasn't just a simple wolf.." Brennus frowned nervously. Conrad's POV Something was happening, a change in the wind told me enough. I'd finally managed to rid myself of Natalie and with her gone, a sense of distraction had left with her. Now meditating in the dreamscape, another air was noticeable, an air of change and anticipation, like the calm before a storm, a swirling build up was amongst the soul's and surroundings. What was coming? What were we waiting for? Even Kon had no idea, yet he paced tensely, as he too could feel the throbbing of anxiety as if waiting for something to unveil itself. Finally a clue came from the passing of an elder soul. "The Queen's return, she's return, to be unveiled she will be, I'd thought I'd fade before I'd see it." came one voice. "Indeed as I did, many a millennia she's been missing, return she has, the goddess no more?" came the reply of the other. "Too be seen it seems." returns the first voice, before both continue in silence. "The return of the Queen?" I ask Kon, who frowns in confusion. "I feel my soul is not old enough to provide answers, of a queen I've never heard of. Was that not the goddess?" I nod, scratching my neck, more questions, more nervous stress of the unknown. Mr and Mrs Welsh POV "It has happened, she has remembered or been reminded, how shall Meredith take it?" Mr Welsh sighed in deflation. "What could you mean, what's happened?" Asked Mrs Welsh, a cough rising in her chest, she smothered her mouth, failing to suppress it. A wet hacking cough rang throughout the room. Mr Welsh, offered a tissue, frowning as he caught site of blood at the edge of his wife's mouth. "The Queen has Return as she was.." He said, Mrs Welsh eyes snapped up to her husband, tears of bittersweet happiness and understanding fell, Ivy was no longer and Akal had been restored. "Do you think she'll remember us in time?" Mrs Welsh asked her husband who eyes held hers. "I do hope she does, and wish her only happiness if she doesn't. Another cough bubbled up in Mrs Welsh's chest, she squinted against the pain as she was lost in another fit of coughing. She wished on the same, she thought as she wiped her mouth, both of their time would soon be here, she thought. Reaching for her husband across the table they both sat at she grasped his hand tightly. "I do love you.." She whispered. "As I do you, my darling." George returned, his eyes twinkling with unshed tears and unspoken emotions.
