The two white wolves

Akia: Another annoying day. Oh sorry, I’m Akia, The Princess of all wolves and soon to be The Queen when I find a king cause “girls can’t rule alone” my mother says. Also here’s just a little information you’ll need to know for later. I'm a white werewolf which is very rare. Only royalty are born white but if we break the code we will lose our white fur and gain black fur in replacement. My name on the other hand is another story, in Africa it means trouble but according to the Greeks, it means pure. Melany: Hi, I’m Melany which simply means shadows. I’m the Queen of all wolves. Well, until a pure queen is crowned we are stuck in our wolf forms. I think it’s important that you know that I have black fur which I guess my daughter told you about. Not much I can do except tell you about the land where we live in a place called Arula filled with wolves' prey and the evilest creatures. These evil creatures can only be referred to as one thing and that’s it WAMPHERS. Tase: Ok, my turn, hi I’m Tase which means immortal something that comes in handy later. So our queen mentioned WAMPHERS huh awful things which feed on wolves. They are like vampires but also witches as they need to use spells and potions to kill us. A lot of us are terrified to even say the name as there are legends that say if you say it too many times you’ll be hunted down to the ends of the earth but it’s nothing. Just a bit of old folk law we love here. Narrator: Wind gushed in and out of the cave blowing on Akia’s fur as if to wake her. Blow by blow her loose hairs full in her mouth. She jumps, awake at last she spits out the loose hairs in her mouth and goes to stand on the rose rock. “I love it up here,” she says out loud not knowing she was being watched. “I know it’s great the view especially” the mystery voice replies as if they are standing next to her. She jumps and turns to realise this whole time she was being watched by Tase. Tase is the only friend this young wolf knows. The future of friendship lies all on what Tase says next. Will he make up a stupid excuse for his intrusive behaviour or will he be smart and be careful with his words. “Sorry Akia, I didn’t mean to startle you, I just usually come up here to debate the moves I must take in my next class with teacher Black.” tase instantly exclaims afraid of what Akia was thinking. You could hear the fear in his voice from the first word spoken. “It’s ok Tase I didn’t realise it was you, I thought I was the only one up here. You need to stop thinking about what you should do. If you were in a real battle there would be no time to think and no one has the same moves. Thinking increases your thought on his moves, you're not improving your instinct, you will fail the armoury test if you don’t improve your instinct.” Akia replies, trying to seem as nice as possible. Although Tase took her words to heart and began to understand why his teacher never used the same moves twice that he can remember clearly. The wind whistles louder and the air gets colder as they sit on the rock watching the stars until the sun rises when they have to return to their corners before anyone notices they are gone. Akia: Wow I can’t believe it after all this time I wasn’t the only one up there why didn’t he tell me he goes up there. My mind runs in circles keeping me from getting a grasp on the idea of alpha classes before my first lesson, I finished the classes I need to take to be queen already. I can’t believe it. I only have 1 year 2 months and 7 days till I take over as the new alpha of my pack. It's as if it might as well be tomorrow. I have to learn 4 years of stuff in 1 year and still find my mate in 2 months and 7 days. I was told a wolf tends to realise who their mate is before they hit 17 if their mate is already 17 but I haven’t been told how you know that lessons tomorrow, well today only one hour until everyone awakes. I am close to the den now just hoping I don’t wake anyone on my way back to my bed. Luckily enough I managed it but now I have 1 minute till they all wake up and we have to get ready for school. Ok so I’m just about to walk into the opening where my first lesson shall take place but I’m afraid, the first lesson the future alpha gets is by the queen. I know what it’s like when you are 5 but 16 and learning to be alpha is like learning to be someone's whole world, the one source of living. Well that’s entirely what I am, a pack can not live without an alpha the alpha dies so does the pack but this also means it’s the same with the queen if the queen dies so do all the werewolves. Enough blabbering I must get on to my lesson. I'll see you soon, friend. I hope you understand my reason for saying goodbye. Melany: Well, I can’t say it’s easy having to do the same lesson I gave 3 years ago again all because my mate was a silly alpha thanks, Albert. Albert is my husband, the current alpha of The Black Lagoon Pack. my whole life up to Akia’s first birthday I didn’t know he was a traitor but I finally learnt that when he tried to kill me in my sleep. Ok, here is Akia. I think she is ready for her lesson but I’m not entirely sure as you can never be sure especially when it’s Akia. She’s stubborn and headstrong like me, and won't show any emotions that she gets from her father. I hate not knowing what she feels it makes life as her mum so hard to do. Being a mum to one is hard enough but knowing somewhere out there is akias twin makes it harder.
