CHAPTER 39 They were already halfway up the North Cascades pass when Kennedy finished telling Scott about each of her close calls over the past three and a half years. He let out a low whistle. “What are the chances of all those things happening to one college student?” “I know what you mean.” How many times had she asked herself that same question? “You should write a book or something,” Scott said. “You could turn it into a whole series.
