Chapter 19: The Golem Enchanter

Celine's POV

"Tangina, sino naman tong epal na to?" bulong pa ni Caelus kaya napatawa ako.

Aray, tangina yung sugat ko. Hinampas ko si Caelus kaya napatingin siya sakin, "Bakit?"

"Tangina ka wag mokong patawanin, nananakit yung sugat ko" sabi ko pa kaya napatawa din siya.

"HAHAHAHHAHA, wait lang, I'll heal it" sabi pa niya at saka itinapat ang kamay niya sa noo ko na may sugat.

His hand suddenly emitted a green light and it's warm. Refreshing siya sa feeling kasi nag-eemit ng warm air yung ilaw sa kamay niya.

"It's done" sabi pa niya kaya hinawakan ko yung noo ko at nakasara na nga yung wound. Pinunasan ko nalang yung dugo na natira bago ako tumayo ng ayos.

"Thanks" pagpapasalamat ko pa kay Caelus.

"At sino ka namang epal ka?" tanong pa ni Caelus dun sa matandang lalaki. Napatawa ako bigla kaya nagtatakang napatingin sakin yung matanda.

"Are you insulting me!?" naiinis na ani pa niya at saka kami pinanlisikan ng mata. "Enchant: Golem Creation!" inis na sigaw pa niya at may malaking magic circle ang lumitaw sa baba namin.

May nagsisulputan na golems at potangina, andami.

"Air Blades" Caelus said and crescent moon shaped wind blades appeared. He directed it into the golems and it hit them but they just moved a little.

"Do you really think that your air magic would be effective on my rock golems?" he asked and smirked.

Hawak pa rin niya yung pendant at isinilid niya iyon sa bulsa niya.

"Oh, I see. His magic is just controlling and summoning rock golems. It would be a piece of cake" sabi pa niya at saka sumugod papunta don sa lalaki.

The golems blocked the way but Caelus just summoned his sword and slice through the golems.

Nahati sa gitna yung mga golems na nasa harapan ni Caelus that's why Caelus grinned.

Nanlaki ang mata ko ng biglang magliquefy yung nahating golems tapos nagform ulit siya ng mas madami pang golems.

Bale think of it this way, there is a golem that is sliced into two. However, the golem that was sliced into two just multiplied into two. Bale yung dalawang part na nahati ay nag-liquefy tapos nagsolidify ulit to form another golem but it is just smaller. Konti lang naman ang iniliit niya.

Nagtatakang napalingon si Caelus sa mga hinati niya and while he's distracted, a golem punched him in the face causing him to flew in my direction.

Pota, magpapasalo ba siya sakin?

Nagpeprepare na ako na saluhin sana siya kaso nagbackflip siya sa hangin para magain ulit ang balance niya.

Ang galing pota. Nakakalutang nga pala siya sa hangin.

"I see... so your golems multiplies whenever they are sliced into two"

"Not just two, it depends on how many times you cut them" dagdag pa nung matanda kaya napatawa ako. Tanga naman niya, nireveal samin ang technique niya.

"Enchant: Air Pressure" Caelus chanted and a strong force of wind pushed the golems back.

Nagulat ako ng biglang tumapak yung mga golems sa sahig ng malakas. Bumaon pa sa lupa yung paa nung mga golems kaya hindi sila nadadala nung hangin. "Advance!" the old man shouted while grinning at us.

"He's quite smart" komento pa ni Caelus.

The golems started going towards us and Caelus wind seems to be ineffective that's why he deactivated it.

"Stay there" bulong pa niya saka sinugod ulit yung mga golems.

Lumapit siya dun sa horde of golems and he kicked it. Tumatalsik yung iba sa sipa niya especially when he's enforcing wind on his attacks.

Caelus grinned as he punched the ground. Nagbitak-bitak iyon at bumaon pa yung kamao niya sa sahig.

Biglang nasira yung tinatapakan ng mga golems at parang may lumabas na hangin sa mga bitak bitak ng sahig.

The ground broke and the debris started moving upwards because of the wind pressure that Caelus just inserted on the ground. May ilang golems din na lumutang dahil sa hangin at yung iba ay nawala sa balance.

"Hurricane" Caelus chanted and the wind in the atmosphere became wilder. Biglang umikot ang hangin sa paligid at nagform iyon ng malaking ipo-ipo. Nadala yung ilang golems don sa ipo-ipo at yung iba ay napakapit pa para di madala.

Medyo nadadala na din ako kaya kumapit akong mabuti don sa bakal na nakausli sa sahig.

Napatingin ako don sa matanda at kita kong hawak hawak siya nung dalawang golem sa likod niya, muntikan na akong matawa pero pinigilan ko lang.

Caelus' hurricane grew stronger kaya nadala ang karamihan sa mga golems. Yung matanda naman, madami ng golems ang nakahawak sa kanya tapos nakabaon yung mga golems na nakahawak sa kanya sa sahig kaya di sila nadadala.

As of my case? tangina talaga ni Caelus. Nakalutang na ako sa ere dahil sa sobrang lakas ng hangin pero kapit na kapit ang buong buhay ko don sa bakal, maigi nalang matibay tibay yon.

I heard Caelus chuckled that's why I gave him a glare. He just raised both of his arms as if he's surrendering but I can still see that he's holding his laugh.

Humanda ka sakin pagkatapos nito, tangina feeling ko kaya ako tinatawanan neto kasi mukha akong pole dancer na nakaangat ang dalawang paa habang nakakapit.

"Aerial Compression" Caelus said after a while and just like what happened with the snakes, a spherical wind trapped the golems that are collected by the hurricane.

It compressed until it suddenly exploded. Medyo kumalma na yung hangin kaya tumayo na ako ng ayos, pinagpagan ko yung damit ko kasi feeling ko nadumihan yon ng alikabok at saka ko tinignan ng masama si Caelus.

Nagulat nalang ako ng biglang tumawa yung matanda, "HAHAHAHAHA you just multiplied my golems"

Biglang nagliquefy yung sumabog na parts nung golem at nagsolidify ulit sila kaso mas madami na ngayon.

Putangina ano ba naman to, di ba talaga sila matatalo? andaya naman.

"Air Embodiment" Caelus chanted as he disappeared into thin air. Parang nagmerge siya sa hangin ata?

Nanlalaking mata na napatingin yung matanda sa pwesto ni Caelus ng mawala siya. Bigla siyang napalingon pa sa paligid nang hindi niya ito makita.

Caelus suddenly appeared behind him and kicked his face. Dahil sa gulat, di yon na-block nung lalaki at tumalsik siya papalayo. Yes, sipain mo lang yang gurang na yan.

Nagulat ako ng magback-flip pa yung matanda para maregain ang balance niya. Shet, acrobat pala to, maigi't di siya nangalas.

"Enchant: Golem Armor" he said and a magic circle appeared below him. Biglang may dumikit na mga bato sa katawan niya. Bale parang naging golem din siya kaso kita pa rin namin yung mukha niya.

He went on in an offensive position and started running towards Caelus. He tried punching Caelus but the latter just dodged it.

He disappeared once again and appeared behind the old man. "Aerial Blow" he said as he did the reverse turning kick.

He enforced his kick with a strong force of wind but the old man withstood it.

The old man catched Caelus' feet and smashed him into the ground but even before his back hit the ground, he vanished.

Caelus appeared above the old man and he enforced his fist again with wind. He attempted on punching the old mans' head from above but a golem blocked it.

Caelus gritted his teeth as he jumped backwards to retreat.

"Di ka pa ba napapagod? your magic should have been depleted by now since you fought with the serpent" nakangising sabi pa nung matanda.

Caelus appeared beside me while catching his breath, "Are you proud to reap what others sow? we defeated the serpent but you'll just appear to steal our prize?" sarkastikong ani ni Caelus.

"Why not? wala namang batas na nagsasabing bawal yon HAHAHHAHA"

"That just means that you're weak. You're too afraid to take the risk even though you had the potential"

"I don't want to waste my energy fighting that snake. I just used my brain to take the easiest route" natatawang ani pa niya.

"Just hand over that sacred relic, I don't want to kill someone" seryosong ani pa ni Caelus kaya napalunok ako.

Shet, intense. Nagagalit din pala tong abnormal na to.

"Di mo na kailangan to. You're already strong enough so why bother taking it?" sabi pa rin nung matanda. That annoying look is still plastered on his face that's why it makes me quite annoyed.

"That's not for me. So just hand it over and I'll let it pass"

"Who do you think you are? do you really think that mere words can threaten me? ako na ang may hawak dito tapos ibibigay ko pa? I'm not stupid, kid"

"Then I'll just kill you and take it. Sounds good, huh?" Caelus muttered as he disappeared again.

He appeared near the old man but he's surrounded by golems that's why when Caelus kicked the old man, the golem beside him received it.

Umilaw yung mata nung golem kaya napakunot ang noo ko. Ano yon?

Tinapakan ni Caelus yung mukha nung golem at saka tumalon papatalikod to gain distance. The other golems launched at him but he just kicked them individually.

Just like earlier, nagsisiilawan ang mga mata nila, potangina ano yon?

Biglang sumuntok yung isang golem sa tiyan ni Caelus and Caelus managed to blocked it with both of his arms but because of the force, napaatras pa rin siya.

Biglang may lumabas sa likod ko na golem at susuntukin sana ako nito but I ducked.

I did the reverse turning kick at the golem but to my surprise its' yellow eyes just glowed again and my attack didn't scratched him at all.

Napa-backflip pa ako para makalayo dun sa golem, mahirap na baka masuntok agad ako.

I pointed the sword at the golem as I launched towards it. I tried cutting its' neck but it is really hard, tapos nagglow na naman ang mata niya. Tangina ano ba yon?

"That's useless. My golems just absorbs physical attacks that's why attacks like that wouldn't work" sabi pa nung matanda kaya medyo nadistract ako kasi napatingin ako sa kanya.

Muntikan na akong mapasuka ng makareceive ako ng suntok mula don sa golem. Napatalsik pa ako at saka ko hinawakan ang tiyan ko.

Tangina ansaket, ano yon? mas lumakas ata ang suntok niya.

"Are you okay? be careful, Celine. Everytime they absorb a physical attack, they just get stronger that's why attacking them physically shouldn't be an option. That's what happens when their eyes glows. Wala ka namang magic that's why I'll handle them, just rest for now" nakangiting ani sa akin ni Caelus.

Napaatras pa ako at humarang sa harap ko si Caelus. Pagod na rin siguro siya dahil kalalaban lang niya don sa serpent tapos ngayon ay may laban ulit siya. Besides, he has used too much spells that's why his magic must be on its' limit. Shet, wala akong maiambag.

"Aerial Barrier" Caelus said as a barrier made of wind encircled him. He launched towards the golems and he tried blasting them away using a strong force of wind.

May ilang tumalsik tapos may iba ding hindi. Ano ba naman to, luging lugi kami. Laging nagmumultiply tapos bawal din atakihin ng physical attacks, andaya.

I tried getting up. I calmed myself down by taking a deep breath. Think, Celine, pano ko matutulungan si Caelus?

Bigla nalang sinuntok nung isang golem si Caelus and to my surprise, tumagos yung kamao non sa barrier ni Caelus.

The golems' fist hit Caelus' arm and he flew because of the impact.

The old man just laughed, that's why I gave him a glare. He smirked at me and directed his hands towards my direction, "Attack her!" utos pa niya and the other golems launched at me.

"You can't hurt her... not when I'm still around" Caelus muttered after appearing in front of me.

"Enchant: Air Blow!" he chanted and aimed his hands at the golems. A super strong force of wind appeared in it and it blowed the golems away.

What the hell? parang naging mas malakas yung hangin? char lang di ko sure pero parang lumakas nga.

"Buff Enhancement: Comb---" naputol ang sinasabi ni Caelus nang tapikin ko siya sa balikat.

"H-Hey, how can I help?"

Napalingon siya sakin at saka parang nag-isip. Biglang lumiwanag ang mukha niya kaya may naisip siguro siya. Nice, may maitutulong pa nga ata ako.

He smiled at me and patted my head, "Form a contract with me..."
