Chapter 18: Dungeon (II)

Celine's POV

The serpent head towards us and Caelus just walked casually in front of me. Itinaas rin niya yung kanang kamay niya na parang pinoprotektahan ako.

"Air Blow" he muttered as his eyes glowed again.

The snake is about to bite Caelus but it stopped midair. It was repelled all of a sudden by a strong wind force that's why my mouth gaped.

Hindi nga siya nagloloko, kaya pala ata talaga niya.

"You can collect the treasures already, I'll protect you while fighting this one" sabi pa niya kaya napatango ako.

"Buff Enhancement: Aerial Flight" he chanted and he levitated. Lumingon pa siya sakin bago siya sumugod papunta dun sa serpent.

My jaw dropped when I saw his speed. f**k? ambilis niya sobra. Parang hangin siya sa sobrang bilis niyang lumutang papunta don sa serpent.

Anyway, I grabbed the foldable bag in my pocket and I head towards the treasure. Pinili ko yung mukhang mamahalin na items at saka ko iyon isinilid sa dala kong bag.

Napalingon pa ako kay Caelus and he's deflecting the attacks of the serpent. Bale inaatake nung serpent si Caelus gamit ang buntot niya but he's summoning an enormous amount of wind to repel the serpents' tail.

The serpent suddenly spitted its' venom at Caelus but he just casted a surge of wind causing the venom to go in the opposite direction.

Caelus floated high above in the air and attacked using his magic. Crescent moon shaped wind formed beside him and he directed it towards the snake.

The snake wagged its' tail and it deflected most of Caelus attack. However, continuous yung atake ni Caelus kaya may tumama pa rin dun sa ahas.

Pero pota? walang talab?

Kapag natama yung atake ni Caelus ay walang nangyayari dun sa ahas, it's not even flinching. Hayop, bakit walang damage?

I remembered what Caelus said earlier and that makes sense. He said that the snake is tough, that's why I guess his attacks are not working.

Caelus shifted from air blades into air bullets as he encircled the serpent. He fired simultaneously which kept the serpent busy that's why I continued collecting treasures.

Kukuhanin ko na sana yung isang gintong treasure kaso nung pag-angat ko ay may lumabas na ahas. Napaatras ako bigla at tumalon yung ahas papunta sakin kaso biglang may tumamang bullet na hangin dito.

Napalingon ako kay Caelus at kinindatan niya ako kaya napairap nalang ako. Abnormal ampota, napakalandi.

To counter Caelus' air bullets, the serpent also spit venom simultaneously. Yung venom ay parang bullet din ang size at tumatama yon sa bullet ni Caelus.

Biglang may naligaw na venom papunta sa direksyon ko that's why I stepped backwards but Caelus appeared in front of me.

"Air Blow" he muttered and an enormous force of wind blowed the venom away.

Lumingon ulit siya sakin at saka kumindat na naman kaya binato ko siya ng gold coin. "Tangina, wag ka ngang kumindat ng kumindat, nakakabwisit ka" inis na ani ko pa at napatawa naman siya.

"Eto naman, alam ko namang gusto mo yon"

"Anong gusto? abnormal"

"Lagi ka ng nagaga---"

Nanlaki ang mata ko ng makita kong patungo na kay Caelus yung ahas. Nakalabas ang mga pangil nito at kakagatin na sana si Caelus but he just waved his hand, "Air s***h"

Biglang naputol yung dalawang pangil nung ahas atsaka siya tumalsik. Tumama ito sa pader kaya napanganga ako. "Ikaw kasi, nakikipag-usap pa ako dito tapos eepal ka" nakangusong ani pa nito dun sa ahas.

"Kuhanin mo na lahat ng gusto mo hehe" sabi pa niya sakin saka pumunta don sa pwesto ng ahas. Nagpatuloy ako sa pagsisilid ng mga treasures na mukhang mamahalin at may ilan pang nalabas na ahas kaya hinahampas ko ito gamit yung parang trophy na treasure.

Manunuklaw pa kayo diyang mga puta kayo ah?

Napalingon ako don sa isang gilid ng may maramdaman akong weird. Di ko alam, parang inaattract neto ang atensyon ko eh.

May nakita akong isang pendant? tapos naka enclose siya sa isang glass casing. Nakalutang yung pendant sa gitna that's why I went towards it.

Di pa ako nakakalapit ng biglang may tumamang buntot ng ahas sa harap ko. Napalingon ako don sa serpent at nawala na si Caelus... yung ahas nalang yung nandon na nanlilisik ang mata sa akin.

I saw Caelus at the wall at napangiwi pa siya ng kaunti. Pota, talo na siya? tumama ata siya sa pader.

My eyes widened when the serpents' tail was about to smash me. I tried blocking it with my hands but Caelus teleported above me. He summoned an enormous amount of wind once again to repel the tail but the serpent is resisting it.

Caelus strengthened the wind and at last, tumalsik din yung buntot nung ahas but to my surprise, bumulusok ulit ito papunta sakin.

"Enchant: Aerial s***h" Caelus chanted as he slashed his hands into the air.

Biglang naputol yung buntot nung ahas at tumalsik pa sa tabi ko yung dulo non.

The snake writhed in pain as it went on a rampage.

Caelus approached me and he touched my shoulder, "Are you okay?" nag-aalalang tanong pa niya kaya napatango naman ako.

"That pendant in there is the Sacred Relic, kuhanin mo na, I'll handle the serpent" sabi pa niya saka lumutang ulit.

He smiled at me and motioned the pendant. I just nodded and I'm about to head towards it when the ground rumbled.

The snake hissed loudly kaya napatingin ako dito and my breathing almost stopped when I saw how terrifying this creature was.

Its' eyes turned intense red and its' black pupil dilated. Yung scale din niya ay umangat kaya para na siyang durian, charot. Tumubo ulit yung fangs niya and it is now sharper. As of its' tail, it also regenerated and spikes appeared at the edge of its' tail.

"That must be his final form" bulong pa ni Caelus.

"H-Hoy! kaya mo yan?" tanong ko pa kay Caelus. Napatingin lang siya sakin at saka napatawa, "Wala ka ba talagang tiwala sakin? nagtatampo nako sayo"

Napangiwi nalang ako atsaka siya inirapan, "Seryoso ako, oo o hindi? kasi kung hindi bahala ka na jan tatakas na ako" biro ko pa kaya napatawa siya lalo.

"Don't worry, basic lang yan sakin" ani pa niya na nagbasic sign pa. "Just continue getting the sacred relic, ako na ang bahala dito" sabi pa niya kaya naglakad na ako papunta don sa pendant.

The serpent hissed loudly and snakes appeared in front of me. Di ko alam kung saan sila nanggaling, basta bigla nalang silang lumitaw.

These little snakes crawled towards me kaya napaatras ako.

Tutuklawin pa sana ako nung isa but I backflipped. Akala niyo sobrang hina ko noh? fyi, maalam ako ng basics sa close combat.

Upon landing on the ground, a snake tried biting me but I did the reverse turning kick.

Tumalsik yung ahas but the remaining snakes launched at me. I suddenly grabbed the sword of the guy earlier, yung pinatay netong serpent, and I waved it in the air.

I sliced a snake into two while dodging the others. Paatras pa ako ng paatras but it should be fine because I already have a weapon.

"Do you need a hand?" Caelus asked at a distance. Nakatingin siya sakin kaya napailing ako, "I can handle these little pests. Just contin--- WATCH OUT!" sigaw ko pa ng makita kong biglang umangat yung buntot ng serpent tapos hinampas si Caelus.

Dahil nakatingin si Caelus sakin, di niya napansin yung buntot nung serpent. He flew and his back hit a corinthian column.

Lalapit na sana ako sa kanya ng biglang may tumalon na naman sakin na ahas.

I blocked its' fang with the sword as I smashed it on the ground. Hinati ko pa yung ahas para mas sure na patay na.

I looked at Caelus and he's currently standing up. May konting dugo pa sa ulo niya but I think he's fine, since maunti lang naman yung dugo.

"Buff Enhancement: Combat Form" Caelus muttered and a circle with weird symbols appeared below him.

A small wing appeared on both of his feet and a green sword appeared from his hand. Medyo napanganga pa ako kasi ang ganda ng espada, pure green ang kulay niya tapos di siya espada talaga na may physical body, parang ilaw siya na green kaso ang shape niya ay espada.

Caelus eyes also glowed bright green and he smirked. He launched towards the serpent and it spit its' venom again but Caelus just sliced it with his sword.

May hangin pa na lumabas nung ini-slice niya yung venom kaya nahati ito sa dalawa tapos tumalsik pa dahil dun sa hangin.

Napangiti nalang ako, kaya na niya yon. I'll focus now on these little pests.

I went in an offensive position as I faced the snakes once again. I swinged my sword in the air whenever a snake will launch towards me.

I slit its' body and I cut off its' head. This continued until I almost wipe them out.

Hinihingal akong nagpahid ng pawis matapos kong maubos ang lahat ng ahas na maliliit. I looked at Caelus and I saw him fighting the serpent using his sword, bale hahampasin siya nung serpent gamit ang buntot niya tapos iboblock niya yon gamit ang espada niya kaya tatalsik iyon tapos aatakihin ulit si Caelus.

I walked towards the pendant when I saw in my peripheral vision that Caelus got devoured by the snake. Everything around me moved slowly and a tear fell from my eye.

N-No way... d-did Caelus just die?

My mind was literally blank when my foot just moved on its own towards the serpent. All I can think of now is killing the serpent, maybe Caelus is still alive.

I tried closing the gap between us when suddenly it ensnared me by encircling me with its' body.

Naikot sa akin ngayon yung ahas at iipitin niya sana ako gamit ang katawan niya but Caelus appeared above me. He did a weird hand gesture as he chanted, "Enchant: Aerial Force Field"

A strong force of wind appeared and it is spherical in shape. Mas malaki to compared don sa Aerial Barrier niya tapos parang nakakulong kaming dalawa sa isang bola pero gawa sa hangin that's why the serpents' body can't move any closer to ensnare us.

"Tssssssss" the serpent grunted as its body continued ensnaring us. Caelus did his best to strengthen the spherical wind barrier and it is currently colliding with the serpents' scales.

"You need to get out of here" sabi pa niya sakin. Iimik pa sana ako kaso bigla nalang akong nagteleport sa labas nung barrier niya.

My eyes widened when I saw the serpent continued encircling Caelus' barrier. I almost screamed when the barrier that Caelus created suddenly disappeared that's why the serpent got the chance to squeeze him.

Caelus was trapped in the center and I was about to head towards him when he looked at me.

He muttered something that's why I tried reading it in his lips, 'Get back'

I understood what he said that's why I immediately stepped backwards and I hid behind a corinthian column. I took a peek at Caelus and he's now grinning.

The atmosphere became heavy and his aura rose. My legs even trembled because of his ominous presence and my heart beat faster. f**k, anong gagawin niya?

"Enchant: Aerial Concussive Blast!" he chanted and a huge magic circle appeared below him. Sobrang laki non to the point na pasok kahit na yung malaking serpent sa loob non.

"Die..." bulong pa niya ng biglang may lumabas na green na ilaw doon sa magic circle.

Unti-unting lumaki yung ilaw and it suddenly exploded. Sobrang lakas nung hangin na cinreate nung pagsabog kaya may tumalsik pang mga gabok sa mata ko. Napapikit pa ako atsaka ko pinunasan yung mata ko kasi ang hapdi.

I tried blocking the wind with my arms that's why I was able to watch what happened slightly.

The serpent grunted in pain as its body slowly evaporated into thin air.

Sobrang lakas talaga nung hangin kaya napaatras din ako.

Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto, medyo kumakalma na naman yung hangin kaya tumayo na ako. Mayroon pang malaking usok doon sa gitna dahil sa pagsabog that's why I squinted my eyes to see how Caelus is doing.

Napahinga ako ng maluwag ng makita kong Caelus is fine. He's floating at pababa na siya.

I immediately ran towards him and he just smiled at me, "See? sabi sayo eh basic lang sakin yon"

"Oo na jusko, ang yabang mo talaga... anyway may masakit ba sayo?" I asked.

"I'm perfectly fine!" sabi pa niya na itinuro ang buong katawan niya. Tumigil na din ang bleeding na kaunti sa ulo niya at wala naman siyang galos or what so I suppose he's really fine.

"A-Akala ko kinain ka nung ahas?" takang tanong ko pa.

"That's just my afterimage, I'm sorry if I worried you"

"I-It's fine..."

"Hehe, crush mo talaga ako. Kita ko umiyak ka pa e---" napatigil siya sa sasabihin niya ng sipain ko siya sa tiyan.

"Tanginang to, di yon luha. T-Tubig lang yon" palusot ko pa at tinignan naman ako ni Caelus na parang di siya naniniwala kaya sinapak ko ulit siya.

"HAHAHAHHA sorry, I just needed the snake to ensnare me so that my final spell will be more effective" nagkakamot sa ulo pa na sabi niya.

Napatawa naman ako at saka sinabing okay lang yon, but I'm really glad that Caelus is fine.

Biglang may tumama na sinag ng araw sa mukha ko kaya nanlalaking mata na napatingin ako sa taas. "D-Did you just blow away the dungeon's ceiling?!"

He looked at me innocently, "I guess so? napalakas pala, sorry hehe. Oo nga pala nasaan yung pendant?" tanong pa niya kaya napalingon ako don at... pota? nawala?

Nasira na yung glass na casing tapos wala na din yung laman sa loob. Lumapit pa kami doon para hanapin kung nalaglag kasi diba nga sobrang lakas nung hangin na nacreate ng explosion kaya baka tumalsik.

I saw it at a distance and a debris is on top of it. Di naman siya nagasgas or what kaya lumapit na ako papunta dito.

I was about to pick it up when suddenly a hard fist hit my face.

I flew because of the impact and Caelus caught me. Napaangat ako ng tingin only to saw a golem near the pendant and an old man behind the golem.

Napahawak pa ako sa noo ko kasi may dugong tumulo don, what the f**k? ansakit non ah? parang hinampas ng semento ang ulo ko.

"Thank you for this" the old man suddenly said as he lifted the sacred relic.
