As Raina rested in the infirmary, the nurse checked on her periodically. After a while, the nurse approached her with a warm smile.
**Nurse:** (gently) How are you feeling now? Does it still hurt?
**Raina:** (forcing a smile) No, it’s much better now.
Tamrin, who was sitting beside Raina, frowned and looked concerned.
**Tamrin:** (insistent) Wait, wait, wait. Are you sure you’re okay?
**Raina:** (irritated) Stop it, Tamrin. I’m fine. Don’t embarrass me.
The nurse, overhearing their exchange, misinterpreted the situation. Her eyes softened with a hint of amusement.
**Nurse:** (with a smile) Aww, aren’t you two an adorable couple?
Raina and Tamrin both turned bright red, caught off guard by the comment.
**Raina:** (blushing and stammering) We’re not a couple. We’re just friends, right Tamrin?
Raina looked at Tamrin expectantly, waiting for him to confirm her statement. Tamrin, still blushing, hesitated.

To emphasize her point, Raina stamped her foot lightly on Tamrin’s.

**Raina:** (looking at Tamrin) Can you check if my leg is broken now?

**Tamrin:** (grinning through the pain) Sure, let me check. I’m pretty sure it’s not broken.
The nurse watched the playful exchange with an amused expression, clearly enjoying the unintended drama. She shook her head, chuckling softly to herself.
**Nurse:** (smiling) You two are quite the pair. It’s nice to see such close friends looking out for each other.
Raina, embarrassed and flustered, tried to hide her blush. Tamrin, still rubbing his foot, managed a sheepish grin.
**Raina:** (awkwardly) Thanks for your help, nurse. I guess we should get back to class soon.
**Nurse:** (nodding) Of course. Just make sure to take it easy for the rest of the day.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the previous class and the start of Physical Education (PE). Raina made her way to the sports room to pick up the badminton rackets for her class. She entered the room and saw the rackets placed high on a shelf.
**Raina:** (muttering to herself) Great, just what I needed. How am I supposed to reach those?
She reached up, stretching as far as she could, but the rackets were still out of her grasp. Suddenly, a sharp, familiar pain shot through her head. She crouched down, clutching her temples, trying to endure the agony.
As Raina struggled with her migraine, she heard footsteps approaching. She looked up to see several shadows filling the room. Her heart sank when she recognized them—Tamrin's teammates from past sports competitions.
**Team Leader:** (smirking) Well, well, look who we have here. Perfect timing, isn’t it, boys?
**Raina:** (weakly) What do you want?
**Team Leader:** (menacingly) We didn’t forget about how you ruined our big win. We had to share the prize because of you, and now it’s payback time.
Raina tried to stand, but the pain was too overwhelming. The boys closed in, their intentions clear. She couldn’t defend herself and could only brace for the attacks. They shoved her, hitting her with the intent to cause pain.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and Tamrin stormed in, his eyes blazing with anger.
**Tamrin:** (yelling) Get away from her!
He launched himself at the boys, fists flying. A fierce fight ensued, with Tamrin taking on all of them despite being outnumbered. One of the boys managed to s***h at Tamrin's arm with a sharp object, drawing blood. Tamrin winced but continued to fight back, his rage giving him strength.
Despite his injury, Tamrin overpowered the boys. Realizing they were no match for him, they fled the scene, leaving Tamrin and Raina alone in the sports room.
**Tamrin:** (breathing heavily) Are you okay, Raina?
**Raina:** (worried) I should be asking you that. Are you okay?
**Tamrin:** (trying to smile) I’m fine. It’s just a scratch.
Raina didn’t believe him. Blood was pouring from his arm, and she knew he needed medical attention.
**Raina:** (determined) That’s not just a scratch. I’m calling the nurse.
She turned to leave, but Tamrin grabbed her arm, pulling her back. Before she could react, he leaned in and kissed her. Raina’s eyes widened in shock, and she stood frozen for a moment.
**Tamrin:** (smirking) If I’m not okay, then how did I have the energy to kiss you?
Raina pulled away, her face flushed with a mix of emotions.
**Raina:** (flustered) You... you p*****t!
She turned and ran out of the room, her mind racing. Tamrin watched her go, a satisfied smile on his lips despite the pain in his arm. He touched his lips, feeling a strange happiness.
**Tamrin:** (to himself) Maybe she does care.
Raina leaned against a wall outside, trying to calm her racing heart. She couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss and Tamrin’s words.
**Raina:** (thinking) Do I really have feelings for Tamrin?
The realization hit her like a ton of bricks. She did care for Tamrin, more than she wanted to admit. But now wasn’t the time to dwell on her feelings. She had to get the nurse for Tamrin.
**Raina:** (determined) I need to get the nurse.
She hurried to the infirmary, her mind still buzzing with the events that had just unfolded.
Raina burst into the infirmary, startling the nurse.
**Nurse:** (concerned) Raina, what’s wrong?
**Raina:** (breathlessly) It’s Tamrin. He’s hurt. We need to help him.
The nurse grabbed her medical kit and followed Raina back to the sports room. Tamrin was still there, trying to stop the bleeding from his arm.
**Nurse:** (professionally) Let me see that, Tamrin.
She quickly cleaned and bandaged his wound, while Raina watched, feeling a mix of relief and concern.
**Nurse:** (to Raina) You did the right thing bringing me here. This cut is deep, but he’ll be fine with proper care.
Raina nodded, still feeling flustered from everything that had happened.
