The Devil in Disguise

It was a cold, dark and foggy morning in Pittsburg, a young girl walks along the sidewalk. Distracted by my phone, I'm reading articles my fathers wrote and trying to type notes on a split screen. I'm trying to understand what his writing was like, who he was as a journalist. Boom! I look up and see a broad body, tall, handsome, dark brown hair and a big smile, looking at me. “ Hello there, beautiful. Sorry, I didn't see you there.” said the tall stranger. “ I’m sorry, I was distracted by my phone.” The young girl stated. “ Well my name is Draco Lambert. What is yours, M'lady?” Draco asked. “Keda Blood, Sir.” I stated. “No need to call me sir, call me Draco. mye’s my number message me. I gotta run. I have a meeting to attend.” Draco stated. As he hurries off. “Wait, I'm sorry…. ”I said. But he was already gone. s**t I didn’t mean to bump into him, I shouldn't have been on my phone reading. I get out my phone and send him a message. “Hi, this is the girl who bumped into you, Keda,” I sent the message. “Ding” my phone was going off already. “Wow.” Draco's message said. my phone starts buzzing. I picked it up. “ Hello, Beautiful. How are you? No worries about bumping into me. It’s all good.” Said Draco. “I'm good, I'm really sorry for bumping into you. I was reading and looking at my phone.” I stated “Go to dinner with me to make up for it.” Draco says “When? I’m very busy, I work full-time, part-time at a media organization as an internship and I'm a full time student.” I say “Oh? You’re Busy.” Draco says “Yes, very busy.” I said. “ Give me a chance if I can't make you fall in love with me, then I’ll leave you be.” Draco says. “Fall in love with you… hmmm that’s impossible. I just met you.” I said. “Is that a challenge, Sunflower? I’ll gladly accept.” Draco says. Wow. I hung up the phone with that word. I blushed at the thought of that. Does that mean he’s going to fight for my attention and give me his? He is just so interested in me and wants my attention. Maybe, I should give this a chance. I continue my way to work, as a barista for Ma and Pa Cafe called Cozy Corner. I walk in, the lines are full and back to the doors. I clock in, start making and taking orders. Unfortunately, Two people called off and I came in early to help with the morning rush. “Mocha” “Latte” “Cappuccino” “Americano” “Espresso” “Cold brew” It goes on and on until I hear this order. I almost cried. “X-Large, Light iced, vanilla latte, nonfat milk, Light whipped cream, 7 Splenda; 6 Sugars, Caramel and mocha drizzle in the cup, topped with cookie crumble” “There’s that order for Debra.'' I said. I was about to walk away when I heard. “Oh My God, who made this.” Debra says. I turn around with a smile knowing the lady is going to complain about the drink. “I did, ma’am.” I said in a nice, soft voice. “It’s perfect, you should get a raise.” Debra says and hands me a twenty dollar bill. I walk away and continue making drinks. I realize it’s my break time. I had some missed calls from my mom. I sent a couple of messages. I canceled their lunch meet up. I called my mom. It rings and rings and rings. “Hello.” Sapphire said “Hey, why did you cancel our lunch date?” I says “Something came up at work, I'm sorry.” Sapphire says, with my boss saying here's more case. I hung up the phone, And messages Draco, What are you doing? My lunch plans just canceled. Ring Ring Ring my phone starts going off. “Hello” I says “Where do you want to meet, Sunflower?” Draco says. “I’m at Cozy Corner, I work here and I have a small break.” I says “I’ll be there, Sunflower.” Draco says. Draco walks in and I am seated at a table, with a simple hot coffee with french vanilla creamer. Draco walks over to me. “Hello, Keda.” Draco says “Hi, Draco. I didn’t think you were actually going to come.” I said. “Of course, I was coming, you called and asked.” Draco says “ Not to be blunt but why did you call me?” “I just needed someone who doesn’t know me, someone who hopefully won't judge me. My mom canceled our lunch. You make me feel seen, you are nice and sweet.” I say “Kinda glad, my mom has been on me about work and school.” “Have you thought about my offer? Do you want to talk about something else?” Draco asks “What do you do for work?” I asked. “CEO of night clubs, Daco’s club Haven.” Draco says “ I have a bunch of nightclubs around the city. I buy run down or bankrupt clubs and fix them and restart them.” “Nice, sounds intriguing. You’ll have to tell me more, one day.” I says “Tell me about what you like to do?” Draco says with a grin. The alarm goes off. Ding Ding Ding. My break is over. “Sorry sir, my break is over. I need to get back. We should hang out again.” I says Draco’s eyes get lustful,sinful and greedy. After I said sir. “It’s ok, Sunflower.” Draco whispers “We will hangout again. “Bye, Sir.” I said in a baiting voice. I walk away and Draco scoffs. I continue my shift and it flies by thinking about Draco and his offer. My shift is finally over after 12 hours. I went home,finally done. I sit down on the couch and think to myself. Maybe I should give this guy a chance to show me new things. I sat on my couch and just thought about it. Is this a good idea? Should I? What would happen? What could happen? Would this be a good thing, Maybe it would be true love? “Ughhhhh, I am losing my damn mind over this Draco guy.” I mumbles to myself.“ f**k it!” I get out my phone, checking the time. It’s been hours, it is now 10 o’clock, tomorrow is Saturday. I go to my closet, pull out a black one shoulder, high waist slit, solid cut/ hollow out shape with strings dress, hugging my curves tightly, Showing off my crescent birthmark on my right hip. I pulled my hair out of the messy bun I had for work, it actually has beautiful curls. I leaves it, my curtain bangs were left out, framing to my face. To match my dress, I does a black and gray smokey eyes to bring out my blue eyes. I grab my purse and leave. I am walking on the sidewalk and calling for a cab. “Where to, miss?” the cab driver asked. “Here's 30, can you take me to Black Moon Nightclub?” I says “I can do that, Ma’am but it’s only a 10 dollar fair.” the cab driver states. “ Keep the rest, have a good night.” I said with a smile. “Thank you so much.” the cab driver says with much appreciation. It was a short drive, I was staring at the lights of the city. my favorite part of living in a city. The cab drops me off outside. “Thank you.” I says I get in line, thankfully it goes quickly. “ID please.” The bouncer said. “Here you go.” I said. “You’re good to go. Are you single? Can I have your number, hottie?” The bouncer said “Yes, I'm single. No, I just want to party. Have a good night though.” I says politely I walk in and head to the bar. Trying to decide what I want. “What are you getting?” the bartender asked. “ Umm.. I don’t know. I don’t really drink. I'm trying not to think much.” I states “I'm going to give you a s*x on the Beach. I think you’ll like it.” The bartender says. “Thank you.” I said smiling. I have had about 4 to 5 drinks, 6 shots of fireball, so far. I get on the dance floor, starts dancing to the music. Crowds of people, bumping and moving to the grove. I was so lost in music and dancing with the girls and guys. Dropping to the floor and shaking my booty. It is twirling,jumping, moving around, loving the music and the extreme high I'm on. Suddenly, I feel an arm grab me and pull me off the dance floor. “Following me, now?” said Draco “No, Are you following me? This was spur of the moment thinking on my part, sir.” I started in defense, slightly slurring sir. “Then why are you in MY nightclub, Sunflower?” Draco says “YOUR nightclub, I had no idea you owned this one. In that case, I'll leave if you’d like.” I states “No Sunflower, stay and dance with me?” Draco says in a nice slight begging way, Hands grabbing my hips. “You want me to stay and dance with you?” I says Surprisingly “Yes, Sunflower. Stay. I demand it.” Draco says with a stern voice and devouring, captivating, alluring green iris eyes with a hazel outer ring. I’s legs get weak and my cheeks are red as rubies staring in his eyes and listening to his words roll off his tongue. Hmmm, never sounded so sweet to be told to do something. my legs get really weak and I start to fall. Draco sees and catches me, with my leg bent in an upside down L, his hand lands on my back, second hand on my knee holding it in the crease. He slowly moves his hand up my thigh taking his time to enjoy my soft, smooth, curvy, and thick thighs. He slowly pulls me up. Their faces came inches from each other, I could smell his Ocean scented cologne. I could almost kiss him, I was slowly drawn to him, in that moment wanting to kiss him in my drunken foolishness. It is an inch from his lips, I sucks my bottom lip, lightly licks it, I pull away. There was a long pause. Draco seeing my shame and guilt in what I was about to do, Draco asked. “Do you want another drink, it’s on me.” “Yes-s-s-s, s*x on the beach please?” I say, kinda slurring. “Hmmmm, Is that a request or a drink, Sunflower?” Draco says with a sly smile. “It’s a drink, but if you want to rumble we can.” I says “You need water, I think you’re done Sunflower. You're drunk.” Draco says. “Noo, I want more drinks.” I said “Then maybe i won't regret my decision, isn’t that what you want. To just f**k me.” “No Sunflower, I'm taking you home, now. The rest we will talk about in the morning.” Draco says demandingly “Ughhhhh Fine you’re no fun.” I said in a brothing way. “Where do you live? We are going.” Draco says “Uhhh I don’t remember.” I says giggling I get out my ID and hand it to Draco. I started trying to dance again. “Keda, let’s go, I'm driving you home.” Draco says As I try to walk away to continue dancing Draco picks me up and puts me on his shoulder. I am kicking, trying to get away to continue a nice night of dancing and drinking. Draco is holding on to me tight. Once they get outside he sets me down, I try going back into the club but Draco stops me. “You’re done. I'm taking you home. Where’s your car?” Draco says “I didn’t drive, I took a cab. Why? I don’t want to go home yet. I still want to party.” I says Draco proceeds to ignore my complaining. He had someone bring his car to the front of the club. He puts me in the front seat and buckles me up. He gets in and rolls the windows down then heads to take me home. We sit in silence. I am mad Draco made my leave and Draco is upset I fought him on this. “Draco….” I says “Yes, Sunflower.” Draco says “Draco… please pull…uh… over.” I say gagging. Draco pulls over, Thankfully it was in front of my apartment building. I hurried out of the car, Pukes in the buIs. Draco runs over to hold back my hair. Starts rubbing my back. I am so dizzy from puking I fall and Draco catches me again. Grabbing my keys to unlock the door. “Come on, Sunflower. Let’s get you inside.” Draco says picking me up princess style. I don't fight; I just lay my head against Draco, Cuddling close in his arms. I was surprised, he’s being so gentle and caring. I did not expect that from him. I forgot how it felt to be cared for by a man, to feel safe in someone's arms, to not have to constantly take care of myself. I am slowly drifting in and out. Draco continues to carry me into my apartment. Seeing me so valuable, he has this aching feeling to take care of me. To protect me from myself. He sits me in the bathroom, tries to remove my makeup and clean the puke off my face. He carries me to the bed. He goes to my dresser and gets out a matching night set, puts a shirt and shorts on me. Draco lifts my covers and puts me underneath. He climbs in the bed sitting up and pulls me onto him. After he is sure I am out cold. He slowly gets out of the bed and gets into my Armchair in my room. Slowly starts to fall asleep, watching how beautiful and peaceful she is to look at. I toss and turn in my sleep,making noises. It wakes Draco, He notices I am having a nightmare. He gets off the armchair, and slowly starts to get into My bed. I instantly clings to him, cuddling close, trying hard to get over the nightmare in my mind. I woke up in my bed and Draco was gone. “Draco?” I say all groggy. No reply. No note. I got up with a huge headache from all the drinks last night. I get my stuff ready for a shower, turn on the speaker,turn on water, and grab towels. I hop in.
