“This is…interesting.” By the time they sat down on a wooden bench at one of the long tables, Lina’s face had lost some of its pallor, and she looked around the café. “It almost feels as though we’re outdoors.”
“It’s supposed to be a Biergarten. At least, the Texas version of one. I like it. My parents had their thirty-fifth anniversary celebration here this past summer.”
Lina nodded. “It’s convenient how it’s covered so you can eat here year ‘round, no matter the weather, except there’s too much light coming in through those windows. It must have been dreadfully hot in the summer.”
