CHAPTER 11

THIRD PERSON’S POV

After a few days, Shranaia’s birthday was coming. She will indeed carry the werewolf within her. What Vixen had been waiting for has actually happened, and she may finally return to the world to which she belongs. The vampires were only waiting nearby at that moment. They have the opportunity to capture Shranaia now. The enormous abilities that she possessed that the vampires were unaware of were felt. She noticed a familiar figure as soon as she rose from her bed. It immediately hid in the corner then she just shrugged her shoulders.

When she came down, she saw her friends and also Ron, Ran, Eliot, and Wilmer. She didn’t expect that her friend would come to their house as well as the twins who take care of her. She swallowed at that moment and acted like everything was normal.

“Did you visit?” He looked at Ron and Ran.

“You didn’t say you had boy best friends, Shranaia?” Wilmer said.

Wilmer was disregarded by Shranaia, and as a result, Jenny shook her head. He has been pursuing her since he developed a crush on her. He continues to warm up to her despite the fact that she doesn’t like him, and he even seems pleased to see her angry gorgeous face. That made him fall in love with her even more. The twins exchanged glances before smiling at Shranaia, who didn’t know what excuse they were going to make.

Jenny stood up, then took her friend by the arm, then they went to a corner. “Are they werewolves too?” she asked.

She couldn't believe the two were werewolves, so she covered her mouth when Shranaia nodded at her. She struggles to contain her emotions and goes back to her seat to confront the twins. Shranaia turned to face Ron and Ran while seated on her side. Even though Wilmer was not aware of what was happening, he could care less about those two. In case there is something Shranaia could be aware of, he turns to face her.

He receives a frown from Shranaia as well as a quick gaze. “What?" she enquires.

“Are these two your real friends?” he asked.

“Why?”

“I didn’t see them before and didn’t know that they were studying too,” he answered.

“The things that you didn't know about me is... that you make me want to kill you in front of them,” she said threateningly.

“I’m just asking, Shranaia,” he said, then snorted.

She didn’t say anything else, then she looked into her room where Vixen was, and he was just looking at Shranaia. Wilmer looked after her as she excused herself and rose up before frowning. He followed her as she ascended the stairs, but she was aware of this and simply grinned and chuckled inside. She seized Vixen as soon as she entered the room, and the two of them walked straight to her terrace, where they both leaped.

Shranaia knew that Wilmer would listen to their conversation, and when she got down, she looked at Vixen and immediately removed her hand. “What are you doing here?” she asks.

“Visiting you, what else?” he said with his eyebrows lifting up.

Shranaia didn’t know what to say because at that moment, she felt a strange tickle in her chest. She looked at Vixen, then she laughed, and they just went back to the room, she immediately opened the door, and Wilmer hit the floor when she opened it. They both looked at him, who was lying on the floor, and she looked at Vixen, then just shrugged her shoulders. As if like there’s nothing happened to Wilmer.

They both went out as if nothing had happened, then Wilmer immediately stood up. “W-wait! Who is he?” he asked Shranaia.

“I’m her boyfriend,” replied Vixen, who was stopped by Wilmer, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing from him, the reason his eyes widened as well as his mouth.

The two got down, and when he realized what Vixen said, he quickly blocked him, then looked into his eyes, Vixen frowned and looked at Shranaia like he was asking for her help. Shranaia didn’t pay attention to him and just sat next to Jenny. When Jenny noticed that she was next to her, she looked at where her cousin was. When she saw, Vixen her eyes widen like she saw the most handsome man in the whole universe.

“Who is he?” Jenny asked. “Sht, he’s so handsome!” she complimented, then the twins Ron and Ran looked at each other and looked to see where Vixen was. “He is the most handsome man I’ve ever known,” she said, her hand clapping like a child.

“He’s Shranaia’s boyfriend,” Ron and Ran answered at the same time they looked at each other then laugh.

“What are you talking about?” Jenny asked in shock and looked at the two.

“Ahh...” Shranaia didn’t know what to answer to Jenny.

“You didn’t tell me about him before, Shranaia,” Jenny said seriously, then she looked at Vixen’s palce.

“Really?” she said, then she looked at Vixen, who was annoyed with Wilmer. “I know you've seen him before, but I didn't tell you who he was.”

Jenny looked at Shranaia, then she smiled. “Yes, oh, never mind,” she said and ate.

Shranaia signaled to Vixen, and as Wilmer looked at her, Vixen hurriedly left him and sat next to Shranaia. Her Mom looked at her, and just in time, her Dad came and laughed when she saw her friends having a party. He took a seat at the far end of the table and glanced at Vixen.

“I wonder why you were here,” he said to Vixen and smiled.

“Something that I need to deal with her,” Vixen replied, then Shranaia looked at him.

“Did I miss something important?” she asked suddenly, and the two laughed as well as Ron and Ran.

“Nothing,” he replied, then ate.

Shranaia just groaned and looked around, then at Jenny, who was gazing at her and questioning what was going on, despite the fact that she had no idea what was going on. They had just finished dining when Vixen asked to go, and Jenny, Ron, and Ran all agreed. Shranaia’s father came as well, and she smiled at them. Wilmer also comes along.

Shranaia feels that there is something strange in Vixen’s actions, and that thing is disturbing her mind. When she got dressed, Jenny entered her room and looked at him from head to toe asking what was happening and why something seemed wrong around her, and she felt as if something was going to leave and something would be lost.

“You said they were going to pick you up and take you to their pack, didn’t you? Why do I feel like today is that day, Shranaia?” she said to her friend, then Shranaia sighed.

"Jenny, I have to do this," Jenny could sense the grief and didn't want to be apart from Shranaia, but she continued, "You know that there's a lot that I wanted to know about my ability and what Deacon wanted from me."

She has no friends other than her, and she doesn’t want any friends than her. After they talked, they went down and saw Vixen looking at Shranaia. Wilmer was envious of Jenny’s smile as she observed the situation. Jenny smiled at what she was witnessing, but Wilmer was jealous because of that. He must let Shranaia go to the man in front of him who appeared to be more strong since he loves her. He could put his confidence in this man for her protection despite not knowing who that person was.

Vixen holding Shranaia’s hand makes Jenny, Ron, and Ran giggle. They all looked at each other, and Shranaia looked at Vixen with a frown, but she just ended up going with the flow. When they got out, they saw a long limousine, and Wilmer was stunned to witness how capable Vixen was. Even Jenny, couldn’t believe what she saw.

“I didn’t know that you have this?” Shranaia said in disbelief.

“You didn’t ask me,” he replied to her.

“Eh? In all the time you’ve been going back and forth around the place you’re visiting, I haven’t seen you riding in a car, so what should I ask?” Shranaia answered her, and Vixen just laughed because of how cute it was.

He taps Shranaia on her head like a pet. “Now you know,” he said and laughed.

He assisted Shranaia in riding, and they then reached the large and vast interior. It can accommodate ten to fifteen people, and there would be more without the equipment. They were given lunch before leaving, and they just sat inside the car, not realizing they were on a trip. When the limousine came to a halt, the door sprung out, surprising Jenny and grabbing her chest.

“Manong driver, you surprised me,” he said, then the man bowed to him.

“I’m sorry, Madam,” the driver replied, and he smiled.

“It’s ok,” she replied, then she went out first followed by the twins Ron and Ran.

Shranaia apprehended them, and they then went to a hotel with several maids outside and greeted them all. The name of the hotel, the Hotel De Mystica, is the same as Shranaia’s pack, and she couldn’t believe what she read. She looked around before running inside, and Jenny followed. Ron and Ran followed them as well.

Wilmer approached Vixen, and she was just looking at where Shranaia was. “I don’t know what this is about,” said Wilmer.

Vixen smiled as he stared at her. He didn’t say anything and simply followed them into the hotel; he couldn’t talk and shook his head, so he just followed them. Wilmer has no notion what type of personality Vixen has, and because he has no knowledge, he simply adjusts to what is going on around him and wants to see Shranaia.

Just seeing the smiles on her lips fills his heart with a certain delight and satisfaction. Even if someone else wants her, that's plenty. While they were stunned by what they were witnessing, Shranaia came to a halt, looked around, and hurriedly drew Jenny and covered her mouth. The twins didn't find them and quickly left thinking they were just running down the hallway.

Jenny whispered to her, “What are you doing?” she then glanced at the door, shut it, and lay down on the bed.

She said, “I’m scared... Jenny, it could be our last day bonding,” and Jenny sat up and stared at her.

It was perplexing, and said, “What are you talking about? Your birthday is next week!”

She said, “It’s just a show,” which further perplexed Jenny.

Vixen’s parents stood outside observing, and then they dispersed their workers throughout the hotel since today is Shranaia’s birthday, and this is the perfect moment and opportunity for her to show her real appearance and strength. She believed the moon was full at the time, and she knew that many things would happen by nightfall.

She heard Vixen’s other servants scattered around the building and turned to look at the terrace. “The fact was... today is my birthday, Jenny,” she said, and Jenny couldn't believe it. “The day that they give is... the day after the full moon is over because if we celebrate my birthday on the same date that I was born, they will ‘ve found me,” she said, Jenny couldn’t help but hug Shranaia to comfort her.

They both sobbed and were at a loss for words, and Shranaia was truly heartbroken. Even if things are kept hidden from her, she is capable of discovering them on her own, and even if she acknowledges to herself that she is unhappy, she must be strong and fight because beasts are chasing her. Despite this, Vixen is always there to save her and secure her from the creatures that try to hunt her down.

“What will happen tonight?" Jenny asked nervously. “I know Vixen does a plan, I know there’s a hidden room here that they didn’t know. I will protect all of you no matter what happened,” she said to her friend, then she nodded to her.
