James woke up with several sounds of the alarm, he had no choice but to go to the bathroom to get his face washed, he looked at the time being eight o'clock in the morning, he knew he had to get ready for church knowing how devoted his parents are. He got his bath and while dressing up, he heard a voice saying "Hey young man, how long will it take you to get dressed", he could calculate the voice being that of his mom and dashed out not doing his normal duty of checking the mirror. He ran through the stairs trying to get his collars right and greeted his parents saying "Morning Dad and Mom". His mother took time affirming his look and was satisfactory and replied "Are you doing son, are you ready for church", "Sure Mom", he responded. His father seeing his food going cold said after taking a large gulp of water, "Son have your food now, else we might run late for the service". He went straight and devoured the meal set before him. He went straight to a shelf next to the television and picked a Bible. In less than a few minutes, they had left the house and headed towards the church. On getting to the church, he alighted from the car, his friend Jack caught a glimpse of him and called from a far distance, trying to catch up with him "James!!!". At the voice did he had a pause and waited for him. Jack finally caught up with him and greeted both parents. Seeing this, did both walked into the church and left them both. Jack hit James and said, "Hey James, didn't you hear of what the werewolf had done recently". "Oooh u mean that, I am longer vibe with those irrelevant news you know..", Jack interrupted, "don't tell me you feel the news is to gain more viewers". The friend further continued his discussion, "You won't believe how the Werewolf did destroy….", "Oooh can't you just stop all these your stories about this werewolf and discuss something better". "I do not understand you, so how have been things with Kate", Jack inquired. James gave him a furious face and directed his look back to its normal position. "Hey man, I was only kidding you know, you shouldn't have taken it that seriously". "I do get it, but you shouldn't have used that matter, you know". "Okay, I admit that am wrong, am sorry". "Better", he said nodding his head. Jack kept silent and started after a few minutes "So what are you going to do now". This time he could not condone it anymore and said at the top of his voice, "Can't you just be quiet for a while". "What did I do again", not being able to detect his fault. "Oooh Jack, you won't change, can't you hear the pastor calling us into the prayer section", he said pointing his hands towards the entrance of the church. "Wow I'm impressed, I couldn't remember when the prayer section begins to impress you", Jack said laughing. "Well Jack if you don't mind I am off", he said and moved into the main building. Jack could not help, but follow him, at reaching the building, he took a chair beside a girl who he hadn't chanced to have a better view of, while Jack took a seat at the back of James because the row of James' had no chance for him to sit. While the sermon was going on her pen fell to his seat, and the girl said in a smooth and romantic voice which he never knew could exist, she said satirically "Excuse me, sir, please can you help me get my pen", her voice rejuvenated in my heart like a velvet. I took time scaling her beauty, she was light-skinned and of the same height as me. Her skin was glowing, and her beauty was so noticeable. Throughout the whole hours in church, I spent hours stealing glimpses of her. I was so engrossed in the thoughts of this girl making to be lost when the pastor announced closing. Unknowing to me that Jack caught my glimpse of this girl, he ran and caught up with me as I ran down the stairs. "Hey James, you are leaving so soon". I shrugged my shoulders with my Bible beneath my arm and said "Sure I should, 'cause Mum and Dad would have been waiting for me, or do you have anything to say?". "Mmm, but wait what was that you were doing with the girl". I murmured to myself, "What kind of a guy is this", but decided to keep his stance and asked, "What did you see me doing", Jack could not help but laugh at James' response and said "Oh common James, I know you beyond all these…", James interrupted seeing he had a chance in the argument, he finally opened up, "Like guy, the girl at my side was just so beautiful", Jack let out a loud laugh and James questioned "what funny man, I never said anything funny", Jack finally regained himself and said "you know you are such a flirt", "yh I do know".
