Chapter 1 Jennifer! Jennifer! A cruel voice was heard calling Jennifer out Jennifer in a very disrespectful tone. It was none other than Alex. Alex Williams was a wealthy man who was so cruel to his wife ,Jennifer Williams and his daughter, Anna Williams . He despised the sight of his beautiful wife. Jennifer was a very beautiful woman,fair and her skin white as snow ,slender waist and a very nice curve that anywhere she walks past every head must turn . Luckily enough Anna ,her daughter inherited these features, she was even prettier than her mum. Alex stormed into a room decorated with pink accessories, paintings could be seen , here and there . teddy bears arranged neatly on the bed and sofas .it was Annas bedroom. Anna ! Anna! Alex called out again angrily Yes sir! I answered nonchalantly … I have never loved my dad right from when I started noticing all he did to me and my mother.. I was twenty years of age after all and had never called Alex dad ,not even once . Where is your mother? Alex coldly asked. “My mum? What has she done this time Why can't you just let us be , I said with frustration written all over my face. “You and your useless mother are leaving the Williams mansion today , I am Sick and tired of seeing your faces. All you do is disgust me in this house.. Alex said sarcastically. without any sign of remorse . I bursted out crying, I didn't know what to do, I couldn't imagine being on the streets of Miami with my mum suffering. “ Sir please.. I sniffed “ You can't do this to us.. I'm your daughter remember? I tried controlling my tears while saying all these to the man who was supposed to be the best thing that has ever happened to me. “ No! never Alex coldly said Alex! Alex! I heard my mum rushing down to the second floor where my room was “ What have you done to my daughter ? My mum cried out .. Alex chuckled “I did absolutely nothing to her but you both are leaving this mansion today.. My mum didn't mutter any words to him she lifted me up from where I was consoled me and told me to pack my important stuffs. She whispered to my ears that we would be leaving at dawn . I didn't know what I felt but something in me kept on whispering to me to kill my dad but I waved the feelings away , I should be strong for my mum that's the list I could do. Alex went up to his bedroom and immediately dailed a number in his phone. The other voice was echoed in his room. “ Alex , are you sure your wife wouldn't find out about us , I'm scared trying to keep this from my husband,what if… The woman voice was interrupted by Alex “ Lily ! You have to calm down I've got this, as a matter of fact they are leaving my house at dawn , you just have to keep on acting till our plans are carried out.. he said as he ended the call with an affectionate voice “ I love you lily.. The call ended . In Jennifer's bedroom,she was packing her clothes but at some point she couldn't help but burst into cry . “All I ever did was to love Alex ,where have I gone wrong? I betrayed my late father and eloped with him while carrying Anna in my womb …she muttered to her self while subbing uncontrollable.. “ I have to stay strong for my daughter…we would be heading to my hometown by dawn..she said trying to control her self but her tears let her down . Jennifer made sure she packed all the necessary things she needed for their journey,she couldn't still believe that the man who loved her and she loved treated them badly all these years. It was time for her to end this suffering and move on with her life . More importantly for her daughter's sake. She brought out the diamond hairloom her late mum left for her and carefully hid it underneath her clothes .it was time for her to start up a new leaf somewhere very far and that was her hometown.
