COMPLETE ACCEPTANCE.

Ever since she got to meet the old man and experienced him? She was all team Togui. For what the old wise man had done for her she was his cheer leader. Initially she was skeptical. With the better understanding of the man, not only what he did for her but his whole personality. Moreso, she knew her man did care for Togui more than he, himself realized but was restraining himself for God knows what reason. No matter what it was she believed it was not enough to continue feeding the gap between them. As small as it might be. She was bent on making old soldier yield to the bond between him and Togui. Most importantly, she trusted Togui and if there was anybody she could entrust her man to without worry? it was the wise old man. Hence, her eagerness to smooth their relationship.

"Now he is looking out for your unborn baby and woman. But you think you have the right? Who the hell do you think you are? Don't let the tittle make you swollen headed man! Because, if Togui wanted you getting nothing. You'd not even see a needle. I may not know much but this little piece together. You better put your acts together. That man has been serving your family for generations .. I learnt. Has he ever betrayed any of your ancestors?" she asked stopping, waiting for an answer.

"Nope! None have I heard of bb .. but baby ..." He stammered.

"Don't but baby me." She cut him off. "Take a critical look back at how your ancestors treated that man! Is it anything close to how you do him? You messing up big time! If you don't know?Do you even love me at all?" She asked emotionally overwhelmed.

"Jennifer please calm down, don't talk like this. Think about your health." He referred her, to her condition.

"Exactly, my point! I have never felt so good in my entire comfortable life, as I felt since Togui stepped foot into this house." She confessed to him."

"My love, please let us not duel on him. I will do as you say and apologize to him." He persuaded to her refusal.

"Not only apologize because you feel pushed to. No! You must listen to know, to understand the magnitude of your mistake. You need to accept him completely without doubts whatsoever. For righteousness sake! that man has proven himself yonder reasonable doubts, when he shouldn't. Allow me let you in on a little secret. "She drew his attention." After he reasonably Petit ceremony with the old man? I feel born anew. A whole pack of energy runs through me. A once weakling, hooked to machines in a wheel chair and under constant monitoring as a person with a terminal disease." She compared ignorantly. Poor her. If only she knew her condition was not deadly but was the means to her end? She would have surely chosen a different diction. "Now, I am up and about carrying out rigorous activities." She elaborated to his shock, horror and surprise!

" What is going on? Was that a new released movie or the reality of your life Jenn?" He asked anxiously.

"You heard me right Baby." She told him without delay.

"How is this possible? How come I don't know about this?"He questioned feeling lost and forlorn." Are you ok?"old soldier asked concerned out of wits. "I think this opportunity was a mistake in the first place. I need to be heading back right now! This is serious Jenn; How could you keep this from me?" He lamented.

"You just proved right the main reason we kept you in the dark." She argued.

"We? As in .. Togui! is also aware of this, am I right? " He asked weakly feeling betrayed.

"There you go again! OYIWAH! (A terminology as in stating the obvious). He was and is under duress to hold this information, until I gave him the permission to divulge. Talk not of reliability, cause he is the embodiment of the word itself." She stated plainly.

"Aaaah! Jennifer KUMEDRO!" old soldier exclaimed broken-hearted."Why would you hid the pain you going through from me. My love why? I have to request to be sent back home. I need to be with you. I can't stay here or stand this anymore. Not when you are with our child."

"That is main reason why all this was kept from you. Besides, I am not telling you now? to have the same effect we tried to avoid, but to make you open your eyes. You do not need to come back here until you you have served your time. However, I want you to know the extent Togui will go tat protecting you and your interest." The statement catapulted him back to the reply of when the old man was on his case to get Jennifer's address. Also when he briefly spoke of having to go on the dark night walk to save her. Now everything made so much senses. All the man was trying to do, was save what meant the world. Whereas, he(Old solder) as adamantly busy thinking evil of the man. A fool yet again he was. He had believed he was over the misunderstanding but didn't recognize he'd be triggered hearing his praise. Especially, coming from his Jennifer his own woman. He felt like a cold bucket of water was dumped on him, to wake him up from his self induced slumber of rejection.

On the other hand, Jennifer did not hold back on telling it as it was to him. She wanted them to be together. She wanted Togui Dagadu and old soldier to unite as father and son as they should naturally be without hesitation from no side. She chose that time to work on it by telling her man , her peace of mind. Since the hold up was out of his stubbornness. Togui Dagadu was as plain as he came.
