Treated especially with palm kennels steam for a homely sensation. He took the cup from his apprentice gratefully, swallowed huge gulps as if he was returning from the driest, hottest desert after decades without any fluids quench. Whiles the smokey flavor of earth after rain which the palm kennel processing leaves lingering on soothes his sense of smell endorsing the fact that he was truly home. "Welcome! Wise one." he said immediately the cup was off his master's lips. "Akpe evi! Mè gbo agbè!" ↔️ "Thanks my son! Am back to life! " He exclaimed. "It is refreshing just being back here." He let's out a breath of relieve whereas, he enquired. "How was the place in my short absence? " The old man inquired. "Nu dè Sia dè lè dediee."↔️ "Everything is fine! You know I am very capable. " He answered boldly with youthful exuberance. A bright smile crept on the Old Man's screams in reaction to the young lads confident answer. " Did anyone come to look for me?" He asked. "Yes! Togui. A handful of the community was here, but their needs were not much of a task for me Papa. Except for one or two. I informed them you went for a short walk and will be back not before long so they rescheduled." "Good! son. Thoughtful indeed." He complimented. "How was your trip Papa?" The lad asked in anticipation. Always eager to learn of his Master's trips and if possible the intricate details. "The gods be praised! It was successful." He responded gladly. "Eheern!" the apprentice exclaimed as if to divulge an important message only to request of his master. "How does she look Papa?" He asked anxiously. "She is nothing! "he paused; making the apprentice develop a sour portraiture. Out of impatience he ranted his displeasure uncensored as that of an anus suffering diarrhea. "What?" He shouted devastated unbelievably. "How can the gods do that and you praise them Togui?" he asked incredulously. "Hush! Now son least the gods punish your rowdiness." The old man warned. "No! Papa, I mean no disrespect but this is not right! How can they choose a nobody and you be contended? Is this a punishment to the rightful beneficiary for turning his back on them years ago?" He surmised questionably. "I mean how? How can even the gods commit such a blunder? Are they not supposed to be all knowing and merciful?" He seemed from his master doubtfully. "You even confirmed the success of your trip! That shouldn't be possible?" He, more of rhetorically said than asked as a question. But then, the Old wise man completed his statement, highlighting the point he wanted to make before his apprentice began conjuring conclusions; after he recovered from his briefly distracted world of reverie of Jennifer's magnificent aura. "But absolute perfection! inside/out, although naughtily sweet headed." The old man made it snappy with amusement in his tone at his juniors interest as well as facial structure transition. Regret was boldly written all over the apprentice demeanor. Yet again, he has acted out before appropriate enquiry. "A great subordinate have you been but patience! I notice a while now has never been your strong suite. Something you need to work on, less you cause havoc before understanding a circumstance at length Son." He cautioned sincerely concerned. "You are soon too weild great power! And such a disposition with impatience as an Achilles Hill is catastrophic." He further amplified. "Apologies Papa! I am deeply regretful for jumping ahead of myself. May the gods overlook my childish ignorance and grant me no retribution for my blasphemy." he pleaded leniency from both his master and gods. "A brilliant child you are. It'd be a shame for all your wisdom to be downplayed by your flaw. I am and has been nothing less than proud of your huge growth. I must let on. However, patience is a virtue above all virtues. In this line of duty, you will need it most to survive in gruesome situations. I fear I may have overestimated your growth. " "No papa! That is not it at all. I agree, I jumped before the gun but I promise to work harder, also it won't be the end of me. "he assured his master. "Mmmgh ... Work! "the old man nodded adding solemnly but firmly. "We will to avert chaos." He stated emphatically. That chapter successfully closed against the characteristic of the Young ones. Their mood swings could be compared to an irritable expectant mother or even worse. The young chaps age kicked in; he had already forgone his in impassive flaw, regretful state and was back to the nosy lively him. "Is she a nice person, compared to who we have here?" He asked this time with a bit of disdain written on his fore for the referred later. Togui shakes his head incorrigibly. "Indeed! she is a wonderful person. The gods never commit errors although, it is unfortunate .. her fate." He began fondly but transitioned in a feeling of sorrow. " I know you want more details but not today or time neither the place. The wind talks and eager ears are itching to listen. We don't want an already damaged useful tree with low essence chopped down before it runs it course." He said wisely. "However, This is to remain in this room only. Not a word must be breathed out." He warned sternly. "Yes! Togui." "Go get the fire started so we can prepare something to eat." He ordered his apprentices, who was on his heel immediately. In as much as he would want to hear all the stuff, his stomach protested as the hear of it fuels mention.
