And then one by one the children are dropping on the ground. This causes her to panic that even Milldred the healthiest and the strongest one of them, finally gave up. "Mildred, everyone…" he rushed towards them and immediately tended them by laying them on the grassy part of the road. "What's going on? When we set off they were all good and none of them were sick. But now it seems like they have been exhausted for a long time, I don't understand." She whispered to herself. She looked at them one by one and so that there's no one of them who are sick there not even have a fever but they don't have any strength to go on, and they kept on muttering words such as there's no place for them to stay, that day we going to die right there away from the world. "What's going on? I thought you were ready when we set off?" Tried to talk to them but none of them spared her a single glance, all of the children just lost their consciousness at that moment. Although in her eyes they are just sleeping, but she can tell that there's more than that. "Get out of my land…" a voice solo as if it's coming from under the ground spoke with great authority, causing Blanche to immediately stand up and find the source of the voice. She looked everywhere but she couldn't find anything that would be the source of the voice. And so it spoke again, "Get out of my land." It said. This time the voice is louder than before however even though how loud it is the children wasn't budging from their deep slumber. They remain stagnant and not moving. "Who are you?!" Blanche demanded an answer as she pulled out her weapon and readied her stance. There was a good few moments of silence before the voice said, "This is not your land Luxuria, get out of here." The voice growld menacingly. "Go back to where you belong and rot there." Blanche was confused but her artillery is not responding to any of those words. Making her even more curious since the voice they have never heard before knows something about her weapon. "Who are you and why did you know Luxuria?!" "So you are his wielder," the voice scoffed. "A fool! You don't know what you've been doing. You are letting the god of lust to rule over your mind. But what can I do, your only and a mere human, who only knows nothing but to fulfill its bodily desire." "What are you talking about?" Blanche asks under her breath Blanche before yelling, "What do you know about him?" But the voice only replied, "Everything." "I want to know. Who are you and what do you know about Luxuria." She demanded. "Do you really want to know?" "Yes, I do." She didn't hesitate to reply. "Then what part of him do you want to know?" "Who is luxury to you and why do you know him?" "Luxuria is the god of lost nothing more nothing less." "Wait, you haven't answered the last question." "One question, one answer, one offer. Now, what can you offer?" "Offer? What offer are you saying?" "To have some things you must give something in return." "So you're saying I should pay for a question?" "Yes. If you want to learn something about Luxuria, the new must give the same amount that is just as close to that value." "But what do you need from me? I don't have anything that will satisfy something like you." "How can you be so sure?" "It's because…" she wasn't able to continue what she was saying when the voice beat her. "You have so many offerings behind you." "Behind me–" she looks behind her and so that children who are unconscious. "You mean–" "Yes no hand over one of them and I will continue to answer your questions." "No!" She yelled and went to firmly grip the shaft of her weapon. "I will not give you any of them!" But the voice only laughed at her, "You cannot change the rules of the nature, child." And then all of the sudden she heard a buzzing sound that was getting louder and louder but then she couldn't see anything. However, the sound is still ringing in her ears. "What is that?" She darted her head in all directions. She can tell that the buzzing sound is getting near them; however she still hasn't seen anything. "The sound of me." The sound became so loud that Blanche wasn't able to endure any more of it so she immediately clasped her ears and shut her eyes until it went away. When the sound finally went away she opened her eyes only to reveal the children still sleeping. She sighed in relief, but then her heart suddenly beat fast when she realized one of them was missing. "Max? Where's Max?" "Now, what's for the next question?" "Give back, Max! Give him back!" Blanche hollered to the one. "That is not a question. So, I have no answer for that." Blanche clenched her jaw from frustration, she wanted to ask where he was taken but then that would cost another life of a child. "One question, one answer, one offering." She hissed through her gritted teeth, "I can't ask where he is because for sure that thing will take another child." she groaned inside her head. "What should I do?" "Now what, what do you want? Do you want to continue asking questions or leave?" "I will not leave until you give him back to me!" "Then I shall wait for another offering." The voice cackled. Blanche internally made a plan, she's thinking that if she asks a question a child will be gone and if she doesn't do something they will not be able to go anywhere. So, her head is torn between asking questions or doing nothing. "Time is running whether you ask a question or leave." "I can't live right now because I can carry all of these children all at once." She grumbled. "Either way those children will never go anywhere they are now bound under my power." "These children are bound under his power so it means they are not sick, them being unconscious is just a result of his interference." Blanche realized that at that moment. "I have so many questions in my mind. I want to know who he is and what he knows about Luxuria, who he is to the god of lust and where he has taken Max." "But you can take one or two of them and run away." "I can do that but if I will leave the rest of them and run away. We have been through so many things. I will not leave them here because they didn't leave me when I needed them." "Now I really have to do something…" she forced herself and took a deep breath before asking, "Is Max still alive?" "Do you really want me to answer that question?" "Yes, and you better answer truthfully." "The child is still alive." The voice answers the question, Blanche looks behind her only to see that another child is gone and this time it was Lino. "Where are you taking the children?" "Nowhere, they are still here but you will not see them. Only a and the person who I permit to see them will see them." "I see, so he's answering truthfully to any of my questions. The children are alive, it's just that I can't see them. And he's not taking the children away, he's not killing them but why? Why is he doing this? What is his main goal? I don't want to ask anything more about him and Luxuria. What I need to do right now is to get the children out of here but is it possible to beat him without any engagement? Will I be able to get back the children he took away from me? Should I ask more? What if I didn't make it and the children will be forever gone?" Her mind is so clouded that she slapped both of her cheeks to regain her composure. "Are you finally giving up?" Blanche held her eyes up with a determined look in it before whispering, "Never." "I see that you still have your hope. But I can tell you that thing will soon disappear in just a blink of an eye." "Tell me how I can get the children back." "You shall not demand for it will only bring your disappointment, yet you shall and the door of answer will politely open in front of you." By this time Blanche can tell that the person behind that voice is just playing with her whoever that person is, he wants to make her ask numerous questions until all the children behind her are gone. What you will gain nothing if she didn't do anything, "How can I take them back?" "All that was taken will never return." The third child was taken and at this time Kim was the one who's taken away. With these, Blanche grew irritated from the fact that she asked a question and sacrificed a child but didn't gain any information from him. "Why are you doing this?" She asked, clearly frustrated with what's happening, "You said that the children are here but I just can't see them. If you will not do anything to them why are you even doing this in the first place?" "Because I am a merciful god." The voice replied. "Merciful, huh? Please don't mess with me, I have no intention of playing with your games." "I am not–" Blanche called Luxuria and activated Telarana. In the instant the voice stopped talking, at this point she realized one thing. "Well, well, well, the merciful god's tongue was taken by a cat." She playfully mocked him,
