Rain on the Moon

Chapter 3

I woke up in this room. I like the style. It's like the universe theme, the moon.

Lumabas ako para tingnan at libutin ang dorm. Sa akin lang pala ang naiibang pinto dahil nababase ito sa kung ano ang kapangyarihan mo at dahil lahat ng kapangyarihan ay nasa akin, ang kulay ng pinto ko ay galaxy.

Pero dahil nga hindi alam ng royalties na mayroon akong maraming kapangyarihan, ipinalit ko na lang ito bilang kulay pula na nagsisilbing kapangyarihan ng apoy.

Malawak ang dorm nila rito pero dahil masyadong maaga pa ay naisipan ko magluto ng ulam para sa kanila. Lulutuan ko sila ng itlog at hotdog para sa heavy breakfast at para sa gusto ng light breakfast, naghanda ako ng pancakes at butter bread.

"Wow! Ang bango naman." Nagulat ako nang biglang may nagsalita sa likod ko.

"Mas nauna pa kayong pumwesto sa upuan kaysa sa akin, ha," I sarcastically said. They all chuckled except for the two guys staring at me coldly.

"Let's eat," that childish girl said.

"Before we proceed to eat, let's introduce ourselves first," the other girl said. She looked so decent.

"Hi! My name is Waverly Orion, Princess of Wind palace," the childish girl said.

"Josh Crytalic, Miss beautiful. From the Land palace." I chuckled because of how he acted. His vibe will never make you uncomfortable.

"Haiden Myrill, Ice palace," he said. Kasing lamig ng kapangyarihan niya ang katauhan niya.

"Kzeisha Zynie, nineteen years old. From the Air palace," she said. She looks so decent. Who wouldn't like her? She's beautiful and nice to talk with.

"Cuz, ako na mag i-introduce para sa kaniya. Siya si Callisto Leo, Prinsipe ng apoy. Minsan lang iyan magsalita kaya masanay ka na," saad ni Leticia.

I stare at him. . . apoy ang kapangyarihan niya pero daig pa niya ang kapangyarihan ni Haiden dahil sa sobrang lamig ng mga mata nito.

Ang mga titig na binabalot ka sa lamig at sinusunog ka sa apoy.

"Can you please introduce yourself? Para matikman na namin ang luto mo," Waverly said in a cute way that made me chuckled.

"Selene Kritiana. Princess of Wormoon Kingdom.” Napatingin naman sila sa akin na pinagtaka ko.

"Ano ang ibig mong sabihin?" they asked.

"Hindi ba sinabi sa inyo ni Leticia?" tanong ko sa kanila.

"Sinabi niya na may pinsan siya pero hindi namin inaakala na ikaw pala iyong tinutukoy niya. Ang kilala lang naming pinsan niya ay si Kuya Serino," sabi ni Kzeisha.

"OMG! So, may kapatid pala si Kuya Serino?" tanong ni Waverly.

I nodded.

My family hid me from the kingdom for my safety. Iyon ang dahilan kung bakit hindi ako kilala ng royalties pero hindi ibig sabihin no'n ay hindi ko rin sila kilala. Lagi silang kinukuwento ng aking Kuya sa tuwing nagbabakasyon siya sa palasyo.

I'm happy because they think of my safety first but at the same time, I envy them because I didn't experience what young kids should experience. My childhood memories are full of practicing and improving, they even said that I shouldn't make friends with royalties or with other kids because friendship will only end in war.

I don't get them, I want them to realize that our generation is different from their generation.

"What's your elements?" Callisto asked.

"Wow! Ang haba no'n, ah? For the first time Callisto, magpapa-fiesta na ba tayo?"

We all laughed because of what Josh said. I mean, except for the two icey people.

Tinignan ko si Leticia at ginamit ang telepathy namin.

"Cuz, sasabihin mo ba sa kanila?" tanong niya sa akin.

"I won't. If I said my powers, the king and queen would be disappointed."

"Sige, Cuz. Ikaw ang bahala basta naka suporta lang ako sa iyo."

"Stop using telepathy.” Wow! Nagsalita rin si Haiden. I just smiled at him.

"My elements are fire and wind." I lied because I want to see and try them if they will manipulate me.

"Really? Okay, I get it now. Mas maraming elements si Kuya Serino dahil siya ang panganay, tama ba?" Waverly chuckled. She seems so innocent.

"Okay, out of topic but let's eat."

They may look so scary but they're nice, but the doubt is still there. I don't know who to blame for this doubt. I really envy them because they experienced memorable childhood days with their friends.

"This is so delicious!" Waverly said.

"Thank you so much, Ave," I said.

"Ave? OMG! That's your nickname to me? I really appreciate it. For the first time someone made a nickname for me and I think I'm gonna cry," she said and acting like she was wiping her tears. She's cute.

"Stop that overacting, Waverly," Josh said.

"Tse! Manahimik ka. Hindi ka lang magawan-gawan ng nickname dahil hindi na puwede paikliin ang Josh.” She laughed like there's no tomorrow and then they began to fight like a kid.

I don't like noisy environments so I decided to use my teleportation. But I remember I didn't bring the map. Sh*t! I don't know where I am.

All I can see is the forest behind the building. This is an old building, I guess? I wanted to leave this place but there was a noise I heard in the forest that caused me to enter the forest.

It's so dark. The forest. I can feel them. They're sad and lonely in the midst of emptiness. . . like me.

Naglakad-lakad pa ako dahil gusto ko makita ang ingay na narinig ko kanina. Hindi iyon ordinaryong ingay mula sa hayop o mula sa isang elementalist student.

May kutob akong hindi maganda sa gubat na ito…

Sabi ng mahal na hari ay nababalot ang akademiya ng proteksyon para hindi makapasok ang mga kalaban. Ito ay tinatawag na “Barrier of the Soldiers” dahil lahat ng mga taong lumalaban para sa kalayaan ay nagmula o nag-aral sa Moonlight Academy.

Sa academy tinuturo kung paano ipagtanggol ang iyong sarili. Ngunit bakit ganoon ang gubat na ito ay napakalungkot at walang buhay?

May nakita akong nag-iisang mansanas sa punong patay na. Kasing pula ng mansanas ang mga dugong nadanak tuwing nangyayari ang digmaan.

Lalapit na sana ako para kunin ang mansanas na ito ngunit may naramdaman ako sa likod ko na naging dahilan ng pagtayo ng aking mga balahibo.
