Chapter 1

Selene POV;

“Princess, nakahanda na po iyong gamit niyo,” Elise said. She’s my personal assistant but instead, they call themselves a maid or yaya.

“Elise, I told you. You don’t need to call me 'princess'. You can call me anything you want but not 'princess', okay?”

“But it might be disrespectful especially when someone hears it.”

“It won’t be disrespectful, okay? As long as we keep it a secret,” I said, “if you call me 'princess' again. . . I will ignore you forever. That's an order from the Crown Princess of the Wormoon Kingdom, Selene Kritiana.” Tila nagulat siya sa aking sinabi.

“Ate selene, ‘wag niyo na po ulit iyong gagawin ha? Baka po may ibang makarinig sa atin.”

“Huwag mo na ulit ako tatawaging 'princess', okay?”

“Opo.”

“And cut that formal thing. It made our conversation awkward.”

Yes, kaunti lang ang nakakaalam na ako ang Crown Princess o susunod na kokoronahan bilang reyna. Tanging ang Mahal na Reyna, Hari, ang aking Kuya, mga pinsan at syempre si Elise. Sila lang ang nakakaalam ng totoo kong katauhan dahil kapag nalaman ito ng iba, maaaring mapahamak ang buhay ko pati na rin ang buong kingdom.

Akala nila ay isa lang akong normal na prinsesa pero mas mataas pa sa Supremo ang tungkulin ko. Kahit na ang mismong Supremo hindi ito alam dahil alam kong may mga higad kami rito sa palasyo.

“Hi, Cuz!” Mula rito sa dulo ng hallway ay rinig ko na ang sigaw ni Leticia.

Nag-teleport siya sa harap ko at niyakap ako nang mahigpit. Dinaig pa ‘yong yakap ng isang ofw na 50 years nang hindi na kasama ang mga anak.

“Grabe ang yakap, ha? Kakakita lang natin kahapon. Gusto mo na ba akong patayin?” Natatawang biro ko.

“Ito naman masyadong mainit ang ulo. By the way, naka-ready ka na ba? Naghihintay na sila sa atin doon.”

“Yes, tara na.”

“Gagamit tayo ng portal, hehe."

Jusko po! Patalunin niyo na ako sa building pero ‘wag niyo lang ako pagamitin ng portal.

“What the f*ck, Selene? Are you gonna kill me?”

I threw my fire flame at her.

“Kinda, tss.”

“Nevermind. Let’s go, Cuz!” She shouted.

She’s Leticia Calderoin from Water Palace, my cousin. She has a twin brother, Lander Calderoin. They’re both twenty years old. Probably they are both older than me but we treat each other like we’re both the same age.

They both have water elements but they have different abilities. Leticia’s ability is super speed while Lander has mind reading.

I am Selene Kritiana, nineteen years old. I have five elements and all abilities. I also have an older brother named Serino Kritiana, twenty two years old. He only has three elements (water, wind, and land) and he also has abilities.

The Wormoon Kingdom has five palaces that help us to give peace. The fire, water, wind, land, and air palaces.

“Huy, Cuz! Parang t*nga. Lutang na lutang ka yata, ah?”

Hindi ko alam kung ilang beses ba ito ipinanganak sa sobrang daldal nito.

I didn’t mind answering her question, instead, I asked her a question too.

“Where are we?”

“Wow sosyal ka, ‘te? Charot. Malapit na tayo sa academy kaya ‘wag kang lulutang-lutang, okay?”

“What’s the name of the academy again?” I asked.

Bakit ba kasi kailangan pumasok pa sa academy? Eh, well trained na kaming mga prince and princesses simula bata pa lang.

“Moonlight Academy. Sosyal ng name, ‘no? Parang tayo lang, hehe.”

“Stop that pabebe thing and sound like Leticia Calderoin. It’s not funny, you know?”

“Okay sabi ko nga wala ka sa mood.”

Sh*t. They’re literally following us. Simula kaninang paglabas namin ng palasyo alam kong may sumusunod na sa amin pero hindi ko naman alam na sobrang dami nila. I know alam na rin ito ni Leticia kanina pa, umaarte lang siya ng ganoon para hindi mapansin ng sumusunod sa amin.

Nagulat kami nang biglang huminto ang karwahe na sinasakyan namin.

“Huwag kang bababa. Ako na ang titingin doon.”

When it comes to things like this, Leticia is very serious.

Sinundan ko siya pagbaba niya. Siyempre nasa lahi na yata namin ang pagiging makulit.

“What the f*ck, Selene?! I told you to stay there," she shouted.

“Watch out!” I shouted too.

I pull her closer to mine.

“That was too close and you want me to stay there, huh?” I sarcastically said and smirked.

She smirked too. Matagal-tagal na rin simula nang huli kong laban sa mga Gardonians.

Isa-isa na silang lumabas mula sa mga pinagtataguan nila.

“One hundred, huh? Is one not enough to defeat us? Too poor,” I said. That made someone pissed off. I’m sure he’s the commander. I really love teasing when it comes to things like this.

They started throwing daggers and also using their poisoned smoke.

“Okay, ten down. Hays, grabe! One hundred fighters of Class B ng Gardonians ang ipinadala para matalo kami? Kaming dalawa? Sus! Halatang mahihina!” Pang-aasar ni Leticia.

Halatang napikon ang commander sa sinabi ni Couz kaya tinapunan siya ng plant thorns. Nailagan naman agad niya iyon. That thorns have poison too.

“Ganda rin ng strategy niyo, ‘no? Hinintay niyo kami na dumaan sa Forest of Greeve para ma-corner kami. Okay, one over ten ang score niyo. Halatang pinaghirapan pagplanuhan, eh," wika ko.

Ang sarap pikunin nilang lahat na parang mga minions na lumalapit sa iyong galit na galit.

Forest of Greeve is a border between the Wormoon Kingdom and the Kanai Kingdom. It’s a kingdom where vampires and witches live. Forest Greeve is a magical forest between two kingdoms. You can’t use your powers or even your ability once you’re inside the forest. You can only use your weapon.

Gardonians fighters are old Wormies fighters. They called Gardonians because they used to be part of Wormies fighter. Sila 'yong mga hindi tanggap na hanggang Wormies lang ang kanilang rank kaya sila natiwalag bilang isang Wormies fighter. Definitely, they’re not part of Kanai Kingdom.

There’s a border between the two Kingdoms because there’s a past issue about them. Only Supremo’s, Kings, and Queens have the only right to know about it. It is written in a magical book that was hard to see.

Hays, dami-daming issue. Hindi na lang magkaayos. Hindi ba nila alam ang salitang past is past? Mga martir! Hindi marunong mag move on, jusko.

“Cuz!” Nagulat ako sa sigaw ni Leticia.
