Satin finally turned 18 but Nebula wouldn't be present at the time of her debutant. After turning 18 and loving to travel, Nebula was rarely home and seeing her less and less, Satin thought she would go crazy. Nebula said that she wanted to travel before being a Duchess so Satin couldn't hold her back but that didn't mean it was easy. The more Nebula was away, the scarier Satin turned. No one dared approach her terrified of what she would do to them and maids would play rock paper scissors so they didn't have to be the ones waking Satin up in the morning. Satin needed to see Nebula. She needed to see her smile. She needed to find her. She couldn't stay much longer away from her. Satin lived those 5 years as a zombie and people even thought that her soul had left her body. Imeena continued coming every day for tea time but Satin wasn't talking to her at all. She stopped talking to her and completely ignored her. At first she had made some effort but when she heard that Nebula left for years, she stopped. She couldn't pretend anymore. She was hurting and she couldn't pretend to like someone she hated. Imeena didn't understand what was going on and thought that Satin felt pressured because of the upcoming debutant. Therefore she didn't ask any questions and was just being supportive in her silent way. She would serve tea with a smile and ask Satin about her day not losing patience for a second. However, on the morning of Satin's birthday, everything changed. Satin was awake before the sun got up and the maids were surprised to see that she was already dressed and that she was closing a huge suitcase. People asked her where she was going but Satin didn't answer anyone and just left. Seeing her face, people didn't dare stop her. She was smiling. Satin didn't waste a second and having kept track of Nebula's localisation all this time, she immediately went to the festival where she was. It was a masked festivity but she had no trouble recognizing Nebula in the crowd. She had given her space, she had let her travel, she didn't hold her back, she didn't cling to her, she did so well but she couldn't hold it in anymore. She was an adult now. She wasn't a child and she was ready to seduce Nebula into staying by her side forever. The latter however didn't recognize Satin at all and feeling her stare she just smiled before waving her to come closer. Nebula loved partying and only wanted to have fun dancing with a stranger. Seeing one of them standing on the side was unacceptable for Nebula and Satin always doing whatever Nebula ordered, she immediately followed her to the dance floor. The music was hectic and everyone was dancing with everyone. Nebula danced close to Satin for long minutes before turning around ready to change partners as usual. She never danced with people for long anyway but this time, she felt strong arms pulling her backwards against a soft surface. The stranger being very tall and dancing well, Nebula just smiled and turned around before continuing dancing with Satin. The stranger didn't let go of Nebula's body for a second. She could finally dance with her idol and she would make the most of it. People did try stealing Nebula away but Satin's deadly gaze discouraged all of them and no one came to disturb her paradise. Nebula could feel the stranger's hands encircling her waist and touching the back of her head staring straight into her eyes, not looking away once. Getting into the mood, Nebula started dancing closer and closer to Satin's body. The latter felt that her heart was going to jump out her throat but she still didn't let go for a second. Nebula was never close enough for her taste. She needed to feel her more. Always more. She pulled her as close as possible and they started moving as one. Their faces being only inches away, Nebula kissed Satin. The latter froze feeling her whole body implode and feeling her all numb Nebula smiled: "Relax." Hearing this order, Satin immediately relaxed and went back to kissing Nebula. Satin was dying both of anxiousness and of joy. She was doing what she had dreamed of for years and she really wanted Nebula to like it. She felt a bit sad that she didn't recognise her but now she was grateful. That would have been too much pressure. In fact, Satin wasn't a good kisser but Nebula didn't mind. She liked Satin's body and had no problem leading the kiss. They continued dancing and kissing all night long and slowly the alcohol in Nebula's blood disappeared. Satin had drunk a few glasses too because of the stress but having Nebula kiss her brought her back to reality in a second. Now that the both of them were sober, Nebula looked up to Satin and asked: "How old are you?" Satin was way too tall to be a minor and minors weren't let into the festival fortunately but for Nebula it was out of the question to go further with someone between 18 to 20. Being 23 herself, it would still be weird. It wasn't illegal but it was still weird. "I'm 20." She didn't want to lie. She was finally an adult so Nebula should look at her like one now but still feeling not good enough, Satin lied without wanting to. She was going to say the truth when Nebula grabbed her and kissed her again. The crown princess had no heart stopping the kiss and thought that two years weren't a big deal anyway. One thing led to another and the two of them went back to Nebula's room to have s*x. They didn't stop kissing a second on the way there and the second they passed the door, Satin lifted Nebula before carrying her to the bed. They didn't take their masks off. Nebula was only looking for a one night stand and didn't care about what the stranger looked like but was surprised to see how gentle and loving this stranger was despite having no idea how to kiss. Satin never felt happier. It would have been way better if Nebula had known who she was but having come this far Satin lost all her courage immediately. What if Nebula pushed her back when she saw that it was her? Therefore she just enjoyed the moment thinking that things couldn't get better. However the next morning nebula was gone. Satin had had her best birthday ever and knew that she wanted all of her days in the future to look like yesterday. Just seeing Nebula one night recharged Satin for months and she felt happy again in years. However it was just like a drogue. Despite being recharged she needed more and more. She needed to keep Nebula by her side forever. She wanted to have s*x with her every night without her having to leave in the morning. But she couldn't tie her down. Nebula wouldn't like that. She heard Nebula say again and again that she didn't want to get married. Therefore she had to wait, wait for Nebula to want to marry and then propose to her. While she waited, she couldn't stay without doing anything and had to do her best to seduce Nebula into marrying her. What Satin didn't know however was that on her side, Nebula went home with a souvenir of her night. It happened. Sometimes despite doing everything right, people got pregnant and Nebula being an omega and Satin an alfa, it wasn't that surprising altogether. It was out of the question for Nebula to have a child however and she immediately went to have an abortion. She kept the papers and soon had to stop all her traveling because of the upcoming wedding. In fact, now that Satin was an adult, she had to get married quickly. Imeena was still 17 years old but their parents and the emperor rushed things, scared of a possible revolution. Satin of course didn't want to marry Imeena but she had no other choice. She was scared that Nebula would hate her if she pushed back the wedding too much and humiliated her sister but she was ready to divorce the second Nebula was ready to marry someone. Imeena had no idea what was going on in Satin's head. When she came back after disappearing on her birthday, she looked radiant and couldn't stop smiling. Imeena thought that all the stress finally left her and she came back to herself. She was really happy and seeing that Satin didn't say anything about the wedding being brought forward, she thought that she really loved her. Or at least cared about her. Therefore Imeena prepared for her wedding happily and couldn't wait for her sister to come back and share this important day with her. Nebula was always there for her sister and came back in time to assist her in every step of the way. It wasn't without tears however and she couldn't stop telling Imeena how much she had grown. "I remember when you were just this big. It feels like yesterday." Imeena on the other hand was so happy that she couldn't stop laughing: "Stop crying, Nala. I grew up a long time ago. -Don't say that! You will always be a baby in my eyes. -I would love to." The sisters hugged each other for hours that day and despite seeing her sister happy, Nebula had to ask: "Do you really want this? -Yes, I do. -Are you sure? You just have to say one word and I'll take you away." Imeena opened round eyes: "Do you not like the crown princess? -I do. But that doesn't mean that you have to marry her." Imeena smiled warmly: "Not everyone is like you, Nala." Nebula signed: "I'll be there for you, no matter what you decide to do. I think you will be an adorable couple with Satin. I just wanted you to know that you could choose. -I love you. -Me too." Imeena touched Nebula's hand who was standing behind her: "Thank you so much for always being here. -You don't have to thank me for that. I'll always be here." Being rushed by time, they stopped with the sentimental topic and hurried finishing up. Once finally ready, Imeena got taken away by the Duke and Nebula followed the rest of the guests to her seat. They sat there for long minutes before music finally started. Everyone went silent and they got up, turning towards the entrance door. Imeena was the first to walk in and Nebula couldn't hold back her tears. She just cried the whole time and seeing her sister, Imeena smiled. She loved her so much. Their father on the other hand couldn't stop being disappointed in the first born. He was really relieved that Nebula left the house early on. Imeena didn't notice her father's gaze being excited and anxious at the same time. She felt ecstatic but at the same time she thought that she was going to puke. She couldn't eat anything the whole day but still felt like something would come up any second. She felt hot and cold at the same time and could see lights everywhere. But she couldn't faint. Not in front of everyone. Looking at her sister, Imeena gained back her calm and slowly breathed in. Everything was okay. As long as Nebula was there, everything would be fine. Having thought that, they reached the altar and the Duke grinned before leaving his daughter. One of them finally did something good. This was the happiest day of the Duke. His daughter was going to marry the crown princess. Everything was going to be perfect from then on. Imeena felt all the stares on her and despite being used to it since her childhood, she still hated it. Standing all alone in front of everyone, she felt her hands shaking and she had to focus to keep her smile on. But as soon as she saw Satin, her whole body went calm. This was what she had been waiting for her whole life. Apart from her father telling her that this was her purpose, she really wanted it too. All her life she had lived only for this day. She wanted to make Satin happy for the rest of her life. If she had her then everything would be okay. However, Imeena soon noticed that something was wrong. Satin didn't look at her once and during the whole ceremony she was staring somewhere behind her. She would smile sometimes however and Imeena would relax at those moments. At first Imeena thought that Satin could be acting weird due to stress but after the vows, when she turned around, she finally saw what it was: Nebula. Seeing her sister, Imeena's blood froze. It couldn't be. No. She looked at Nebula and Satin in turn and couldn't believe what she was seeing. Despite being dressed in white, Satin didn't look at her once. She couldn't stop staring at Nebula who was smiling brightly, happy for her two best friends. Imeena felt horrible and despite everything her sister did for her, she hated her with all her heart at that second. How could she steal the one thing she wanted? She had been in love with the crown princess for 16 years. How could her sister destroy everything? This was all because of her. She was the reason why Imeena was pathetic. She needed to make her pay.
