Marta Mendoza read about the Soviet trouble in Mexico City in the Acapulco newspaper. She held her breath, knowing, of course, that Memo Contera and Rita had gone to the capital, and that Memo would see Dolores Delgado. She hoped Memo would have sense enough not to get himself involved.
