Two Lives One True Love

Everywhere he touched left trails of tingles. I could feel his hand trailing down my hip to my inner thigh. His lips fighting mine. Both so eager to have control over the other. In the end he won. When I pull away from our kiss and star into his deep blue eyes. I can see so much love mixed with a little bit of lust. “God Ava, I love you so much.” Then his mouth slams back to mine. I release a moan. I knew going further wasn’t a smart idea, but how can I stop myself now. I trail my hand to the hem of his shirt stopping to feel every ab along the way. Once I’m all the way to his neck I pull away from our kiss to take his shirt off. I stare at his perfect body before me then I pull him close and softly kiss his lips. I can hear him let out a low moan which caused my core to get hot. I could feel his hands running up to my breasts and cupping them. In one quick move he sat me up and took my shirt over my head. Then un-clipped my bra in one fluid motion. I sat there and let him stare at my bare chest. I giggled. “See something you like?” He stare at me seductively, “ oh many things and it’s all mine.” He then makes quick work un-doing my pants. He hooks his fingers into the hem of my panties and pulls them down. I’m now laying under him completely naked. He slowly takes his boxers off. I can’t help but stare at his massive erection wondering if he will fit. He crawls slowly back into the bed and positions himself at my entrance. I lick my lips knowing what’s about to happen. He slowly starts to push in.. “AVA!” I shoot straight up from my bed to see my mother standing in my doorway to my room. “Jeez, mother could you not give me a heart attack at the age of 25?!” She just chuckles at me while opening my curtains letting in the morning light. “We’ll sweetie I wouldn’t have had to but you slept threw all of your alarms. The twins are awake, I got them changed and dressed. Are their bags ready for the day?” I look at the clock realizing it’s already 8 am. I jump out of bed running to the bathroom to get ready. I can’t believe I forgot today was the family bbq pool party. And plenty of cleaning around the house and yard to be done knowing my parents. “Yes, their bags are ready. So is the pool bag. I’m so sorry I slept in, Elijah is cutting another tooth, so he didn’t sleep the best last night. I’m great full Azalea’s not having this problem with hers.” I can hear my mother playing in the living room with the twins while I get ready. I decided on a simple two piece bathing suit with a white tank over that and a plaid over shirt with short shorts. I quickly slipped on my tennis shoes and went to put my boots into the duffel bag with an extra pair of pants. Just in case. I go into the kitchen placing the bags near the front door on my way. I grab plenty of snack foods for the twins and formula and juices for the day. “Mom can you go ahead and get them into their shoes? I’m nearly ready now. Are we needing to stop at the store before we go?” “No, I had your father drop me off here on his way since we hadn’t heard from you yet, he will be getting more food and drinks. We came across Sylvia in town the other day and invited her and the family as well.” Once she said that I dropped the can of formula I was holding, thankful it wasn’t open. My heart starts racing. Is he back? Will he be there as well? Will he hate me for not telling him? My mother walks into the kitchen and saw the fear in my eyes. She understood immediately what was going on in my mind. “Don’t worry, she said he is still traveling. But you will need to eventually tell him about them. Plus Sylvia misses them. She’s their grandmother as well.” “I know she does mom. And I do mean to visit her more but with me now taking ownership of the restaurant, let’s just say I split my time between there and my team and my twins. And trust me I know I have to tell him, it’s just when I found out I was pregnant I tried to call him and we’ll, he’s moved on. Why break their hearts to?” “I know how you feel hunny, but ultimately that’s up to the twins not you.” “Gosh I hate when you’re right. But I’m ready, let’s get this show on the road.” We got the twins loaded up and the drive to my parents house was uneventful. Once we got there my younger brother josh helped us unload the car, as in he took the twins and left the rest for mom and I. I could see the foundation of a small out-building just past the house. “What do you have going on back there?” Josh just looks at mom and giggles, “well mom here bought chickens and they need a home.” “Oh I’m so not helping clean that out, I clean dirty diapers and that’s enough s**t for me to smell. Especially Eli’s.” We all just burst out laughing. Once we get inside I greet my older brother Jacob by the door as he takes my bags. I can feel his girlfriend staring daggers at me and I have no clue why. I mean I just walked in the door. But I don’t let it bother me, lord knows why Jake is with her but I don’t think it’ll last. “Where are my favorite niece and nephew.” “Jake there your only niece and nephew, and you just missed them josh took them to the living room. But careful Eli is cutting another tooth.” I can’t be sure he heard me as he was rushing to the living room and if he didn’t he will find out the hard way. Now I’m left standing with Raya scowling at me. “Hello Raya, it’s nice to see you again. It’s been a long time.” “Not long enough, what in surprised you haven’t opened your legs and had another kid yet, that’s all your good for. Being a baby maker.” And with that she walked away. I look around and as usual nobody is near to hear what she’s said to me. So I shake it off and go to the living room myself. I can see Jake holding azaleas, and josh holding Eli right across from them. It looked like they’re trying to get the twins to stand and walk. Oh boy this will be fun. All of the sudden Azaleah let’s put a high pitch squeal. Jake quickly turns her around. “Oh my gosh are you okay little one.” I can see concern all over his face and it makes me giggle. “She’s okay Jake, she does that from time to time. You didn’t hurt her. I watch him let out a huge sigh and cuddle her close. I happen to catch Raya looking on with annoyance all over her face. I can’t understand her, or my brother being with her. Maybe it’s just for her looks because my brother is loving and she’s just set centered. I walk into the kitchen and ask mom if she needs any help getting the food ready for tonight and she’s more then happy for the help. Shortly after we start my father comes in kisses my forehead and goes outside to get the grill ready. It’s nearly 2 in the afternoon when mom and I are nearly finished with all the sides and deserts. We have the meats soaking in all kinds of marinades. My brothers had taken the twins out to swim in the pool but now I can hear them coming up the porch. “Ava the twins are ready for their nap did you bring their travel beds?” I look up from the potatoes I was storing and see their heads bobbing and eyes dropping. It makes me smile seeing them with their uncles. “They’re in my old room all set up and ready, just change them and put on dry clothes, their bags are in there as well.” While they were waking by I happen to catch Raya mumble under her breath. “I’m so sick of this crap.” I can’t be sure what she is talking about l, this woman has a major attitude all the time. Once my brothers came back after putting the twins down and changing themselves, they did their normal and tried to steal food from mom and I. And as always we smacked them with the spoons in our hands. And while they rub their sore hands lol and I just start laughing which causes them to laugh. “Hey mom what time is Sylvia supposed to be here?” “I’m not sure Josh, she only said late afternoon.” “Does anyone know if Ry..” “Josh don’t.” I look up to see Jake giving Josh his famous “shut your mouth” look. Then he looks at me with sadness in his eyes. I look down and keep storing the coleslaw in front of me. I can feel someone come up behind me and turn me. I look into Josh’s eyes and he just pulls me in for a tight hug. Over his shoulder it can see Raya roll her eyes and walk away. “I’m so sorry Ava, I wasn’t thinking about what I was saying.” “It’s okay Josh, even though it’s been over a year it still hurts very much.” My whole family knows the pain I’ve gone through and they have always been on my side through thick and thin with the twins. All of the sudden we hear the front door open. We all see Sylvia rushing in she stops all the sudden makes eye contact with me, walks over and pulls me into a hug. When we pull away I can see the hurt and sorrow in her eyes. “Sylvia are you..?” “Ava, my dear I’m so sorry I didn’t know he was back and I didn’t know what to do.” I looked at her so confused until it clicks in my head. “He’s here isn’t he.” It’s all I could say because just then the door opens and he walks right in and stops dead when he sees me standing there looking right at him. “Avaleah.” Just my name coming off his lips sends chills down my spine. But I don’t stick around long enough because I was about to cry. So I ran to my room with my twins. *Rykers POV* It’s so good to be home. I’ve been away for a little over a year now. After I saved up enough money I decided to go travel for awhile. Just as I pass the small town square I look up and see her name. When did this happen? Why didn’t my mother tell me? I can remember every minute I’ve ever spent with her. She’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. And she has my heart completely. I can remember her dark brown wavy hair falling perfectly down her back. Her chocolate brown eyes that always gave her away. The way her perfect small body fit just right with mine. I was pulling into my parents drive when I saw my mother and father loading up their car with food. I wonder what’s going on? When my mother saw me she gave a big smile but then it disappeared just as fast. Hm what’s that about? I quickly get out of my car and rush to hug her. “Mom it’s been so long, I’m so glad to be back home.” She hugs me back but it was slow at first. Something is definitely going on but what is it? “Ryker hunny, why didn’t you call and tell us you were coming?” “I wanted it to be a surprise of course.” “Oh yes, we’re definitely surprised.” I pull back because she’s got such a shaky voice. I see concern in her eyes. “Mom, is everything okay? What’s going on?” “Oh yes, your father and I were just headed out is all and already running late.” “Where are you off to? Is it okay if I come?” “Well Umm.. we are on our way to Georgina’s home for a family bbq pool party.” “Will she be there.” “Um..umm.. well I would assume so, it’s a family get together.” I just look at my mother, it’s not like her to be so flustered. But this is also the perfect opportunity to see her again, she of course is still the love of my life and I need to know why she has refused contact with me. On the ride to her house I watched my mom fidget until my father grabbed her hand. She then looked at him with worry written all over her face and all my father did was nod. I couldn’t help but wonder what was worrying her so much. What was she keeping from me that is so bad? Once we arrived my father had me stay behind while my mother rushed inside. “Ryker, whatever happens today don’t blame Leah. She’s done her best with the mess you left her with.” I just stare at my father, what in the hell is he talking about? What mess? She refused to reach out to me the one time I got threw to her, Jake had answered and told me to never contact her. I don’t understand what I’ve done that is so bad. I just nod at my dad and walk to the door. The minute I walked in my eyes connected to hers. My heart just started racing. But her eyes only showed heartache, sadness, and so much pain. Looking at her like this was breaking my heart. Then I noticed a single tear fall down her beautiful cheek and then she turned and ran from me. What in the world is going on? I tried to follow her but Jake stepped in my way. “Don’t think about it Ryker. You’ve done enough.” “What are you talking about? I haven’t done anything.” “That’s the point, you left her to deal with things on her own and you didn’t do a damned thing to help out. When she reached out to you you broke her heart and spirit you f****d up.” I could tell he had a double meaning behind his words. In fact my parents did to. I really need to know what is going on right now. “I have no idea what everyone has been hinting at today but she never got ahold of me my entire trip. And I tried calling her once a month to stay in touch then you answered and told me to leave her be. I didn’t listen and I still tried to call her but she’s got me blocked on everything. And I have no idea what I did or why.” We all looked up when someone was waking into the room. I hoped it was Leah. But to my surprise it was none other then Raya. At the sight of her I could feel my blood boiling. And all she had on her face was a nasty smile. “Oh, Ryker I didn’t know you were going to be here.” “Why are you here Raya, you know the court order still applies.” “What court order?! And how do you two know each other?” I can see the confusion all over jakes face. Great she never said anything to him and now it’s more drama I have to deal with. Then I could hear Leah walking out and in her arms were two small children. “Ryker, you have the right to know…” “Oh, shut up you annoying bit..” Before I could do anything I watched Georgina smack Raya so hard her head would have fallen off. “Don’t you ever call my daughter another foul word again. Leah my dear please hold on, there is information here we need clarified first before we open this box. Ryker, what court order.” “I have a restraining order placed on Raya for stalking me while on my travels, I put it on her a year ago and it is still effective to this day. She’s to be no where within 100 feet of me or family.” Everyone faces range from confusion to anger. This is not what I wanted to deal with today. But I couldn’t keep my eyes off those two children in Leah’s arms. How old are they? Why didn’t she tell me sooner I would have come home. She had my children and kept it from me. “Raya what is he talking about?” “Jake please, I didn’t know you guys knew him. I didn’t know he would be here I thought he was still on his travels I mean just yesterday he was in Colorado.” “How the hell do you know this? Have you been stalking him this whole time?! You knew him before we ever met?” We all just stood there while they went back and forth with each other. I stepped closer to Leah and the children. “Leah, why didn’t you tell me, I missed all of it. I would have came back to you in a heart beat.” “I tried to tell you, the one time I did call and got threw a woman answered your phone saying you wanted nothing to do with me and to move on.” “Woman? When was this?” “I was 8 weeks pregnant at the time I had just found out I was pregnant.” I could feel my anger growing inside me to the point it finally boiled over. I walked to Raya and grabbed her by the neck. Jake looked like he wanted to stop me but stood back when I looked right at him. “What did you do, what did you tell Leah. Why did you tell her not to contact me again. She’s the love of my life you’re nothing but a stalking b***h!” I could feel her gasping for breath but at this point I didn’t care she nearly took everything from me. “Ryker, I’m.. so..sor..sorry, but she isn’t good enough for you. Only I am. I love you. I’m pure she’s tainted. She’s nothing.” “SHES EVERYTHING TO ME. You’re nothing but a w***e looking for your next target and it will not be me or this family!” I could feel someone grab my shoulder I look to find Leah standing behind me. Once I looked into her eyes I could feel myself relaxing and I let go of Raya. Leah just nods at me and I back away close to my mother. She then looks at Jake and I could see the hurt and anger in jakes eyes knowing he got played. He simply walked away from Raya and stood by Leah. Leah is now looking dead at Raya. “Listen here Raya, I’ve had to deal with you being a b***h to me for nearly a year now and I felt with it because you were with my brother, and I say that as a past tense because now you’re not with him. You’re going to leave this house and never come back here. If you ever contact my brother or Ryker for that matter I will find you and I will make you pay for everything you have put me and my family threw. I nearly lost Ryker because of you. But I promise you this now, no matter what you do I will choose Ryker and he will choose me. You’ve won nothing here and it’s time for you to leave. Get out.” I felt so much pride in Leah. She never used to be one to stand up for herself she always stayed silent but to see her stand up for not only herself but for her family I couldn’t help but smile and feel pride in the woman I love. We all parted ways for Raya to make her way to the front door she stopped long enough to look dead at Leah. “This is far from over. I will be back.”
