My birthday

I stayed awake till it was midnight and my mom never missing my birthday came to my room with a cake and indeed sang me a birthday song and it was all so emotional, I wish we could have celebrated my twenty first birthday with my dad, does he even remember that it’s my birthday. Anyways I won’t think about sad stuffs today. It’s my day and I’m going to be happy. Vivian was the first to call me and she want us to go out shopping tomorrow but I will rather stay at home and enjoy the day but she is not going to take no for an answer. Jake too called and he has the audacity to say vee should stay with the original plan we had for my birthday. Now I know he is really sick, after everything he wants me to go on a trip with him and probably lose myself to him. I promise not to get angry today so I politely rejected his offer. I have been hoping that Mr Avian will call me that he is back or even call to wish me a happy birthday but none happened. Why am I thinking that he will? He doesn’t even know my birthday but why has he not call since yesterday? I just hope he is fine. I got alot of messages from distance friends and even from the agency.

it feels great to know that a lot of this people remember. I went to bed with the thought of Mr Avian and I even thought of calling him but what if he is busy ? I went to bed with the thought of him in my head.

I woke up and my mom has decided to give me a princess treatment today. I got breakfast in bed and this woman even made my bed for me. I wish everyday could be my birthday mom I had told her and just like always she made me dead that ideal. I ate and was about to go lay down for a nap when Vivian called that I should get ready for our outing but I declined her offer and I know my bestie will be quite angry but she will understand and I told her we should have a night date at home and watch a movie together later in the day. My mom got me a dress as a birthday gift and even Jake sent me a gift but I don’t want to know what is in it for now, I thought of sending it back and that is what I will do.

I was woken up by a call from an unknown number and I was asked to come out and when I got outside I got a package and I do not know who it’s from. When I got inside, I opened it and it was a dress, a key with a note which reads ‘ happy birthday heaven, yours only Avian . I wanted to scream because he knows my birthday and he didn’t forget, oh my I’m so so lucky but what is the key for? I took my phone and called him up immediately and I have never been this happy in a long time. Hello Avian’ hello Heaven, I waited for him to continue. Happy birthday Heaven I’m sorry I should have called since but I wanted you to receive the package first and make it a little surprise but how did you know it was my birthday? I thought you didn’t know. That was simple, whatever I like I like getting every information about and I got every information I need to know about you. Hope you don’t have anyone following me around? No! I don’t but now that you have mentioned it, it won’t be a bad idea. We both laughed about it and talked for a long time and he refused to tell me if he is back or not. I found a key inside the package Mr Avian what is it for? Just get ready by 5pm someone will come pick you up he said but I decided to play a little game with him. What if I don’t want to go with the person? Then I will come pick you up myself. So are you back from your trip? I didn’t say that, just get dress and make sure you are ready.

I rush to my room to check out the dress and it’s a black short dress with a long sleeve that has beautiful stones all over the sleeve and a wide cut at the back. The dress is just perfect. I’m not the type that wears gifted dress and remember the last time he sent me a dress that I didn’t wear but this time around I will definitely wear this and he even mentioned it and pleaded that I wear it if I’m comfortable but if not he will definitely understand and I will be wearing this dress.

I don’t know why I’m so eager and happy about this, I ditched my bestie and now I’m here preparing to go to a place I have no idea where it’s located. It’s 4pm and I have just one hour to get ready and I have no idea of what to do with my hair. I can’t let the open back cut of the dress go to waste my letting my hair down. I packed my hair into a bun and let out some curls and it does look cute on me . I wore the dress and it fitted perfectly, the designer is a genius if not how do you make a dress this good without fitting and I want to know who the designer it, I took the package and it’s Lauren nickel one of the best designer in town, this dress must cost a fortune, I’m so lucky and I don’t know why he is spending so much on me, he should have gone for something less.

I did my make up and I went with a red lipstick for the first time, it does look great on my lips, I have always hated red lipstick but today is different, I’m officially officially legal if one can say it like that, twenty one is something big. I look great and I just realized that the dress is extremely short but I love it. I paired it with a green strap heel and I love everything about , i carried a black purse and I’m ready. I checked the time and it was almost 5pm so I called my mom to inform her about my date. I don’t even know if it will be an alone date or Avian is back.

Immediately I dropped the call I heard a knock on the door and rushed down to open and its Avian driver, I recognized him because I had seen him once. Good day ma! I’m here to pick you just like Mr Avian had said. Good day sir! Let me get my purse I will be right back. I didn’t like the fact he referred to me as ma but I will just let go, I know he was just been respectful but it was not needed.

I got in the car. My name is Heaven and you don’t have to refer to me as ma! Just call me Heaven and he nodded.

The drive was long, took like an hour before we finally got to what seems like a beach house and I was amazed at how beautiful the place is. He led me into an apartment, asked me to use the key I saw in my package and turned back. I saw the beautiful setting and a birthday decoration that says happy birthday, immediately I opened the door.
