14. To somewhere beyond the seas

Manik was just not able to pull his bag away from Nitara who was crying incoherently. Nandini felt pity for the little child who was lying on the cold tile-d floor crying all the way to go with her Chachu.

"Aapka school hai meri jaan.. Chachu aapko aake hi ice cream khilane le jayenge..!" Handing over the travel bag to Nandini he picked her up and started patting her back.

"Tum chale jao Manik! 14:00 baj gaye hai, 15:10 baje train hai" Manik looked at Nandini who pressed her eyes as if telling him to console Nitara first.

"Chachu will be back baby. Very soon!" He kissed her cheek but she held his tee and wiped her wet crying face over there "Nitara whantsh to come"

"Nitara baby has school little princess! Chachu will just come back soon and take his princess to her favorite ice cream shop!" Yash took away a sobbing Nitara who had calmed down as of now but was still sad.

"Bye bye baby heart! Chachu will back toys for you!!" Nandini kissed her forehead while Manik pulled her cheek.  Nitara nodded with a meek smile and then kissed both their cheeks and they bid bye to the rest.

After a week of quite a number of conversations, Pondicherry was finalized for their honeymoon and Nandini was never so happy. She went shopping with Rukmini Bhabhi and even discussed and took tips from her to please her husband who was already pleased to have her in his life.

After like insisting fora day, Manik agreed to take on train rejecting Airplane since Nandini was always fascinated about a train journey to her Honeymoon spot. Thank god, Manik was allowed to take a leave for a week or else, the whole fascination would have destroyed. They were to take the Rapti Sagar Express from Kanpur Central and was to reach Chennai Central at 00:23 since they were no direct trains to Puducherry. After a night in Chennai, they were to take the next train by 05:00 am to Puducherry and were reach their destination by 9:30.

"Nitara ki yaad aarahi hai?" She asked pulling off the curtains in their 2-tier coach of which two seats were booked for them and the rest two were unoccupied as of now.

"Haan.. She was crying so bad..!" He ate the last piece of paratha and kept the thermocol plate away while Nandini neared him.

She caressed his cheeks and then missed his right one "Don't worry. I just talked to Bhabhi.. She's fine and playing with the teddy you have gifted her!" Manik's lips played a genuine smile and he looked at her who smiled back "Let's go and enjoy then!" Nandini nodded with full enthusiasm and in some minutes, the TT was there to check the tickets.

It was already 8 at night and she was already yawning, lying on the berth, chatting with Navya on w******p. He stood up, picked up the blankets from beside and arranged the next lower with it. In no time, she was being picked up anf placed on the furnished berth.

She looked around and then smiled a cheeky smile to him who smiled back genuinely and sat beside her. She took the quilt provided by the railways and pulled both of them inside it. Thank god 2-tier provided large berths.

"Let's sleep for a while then!" He suggested and she nodded and both slept hugging each other on the same berth.

It was 22:46 when Nandini's sleep broke hearing out a screech sound. She quickly sat up and found a young lady standing with a sorry face, clad in a Patiala and a man just behind her.

"Ex-" Before Nandini could speak something, the female spoke "Sorry ji! Woh suitcase me pair laggaya ji.. Bohot saara sorry ji.. Actually raat bohot hui hai, light bhi off hai yeha.. Itne tired hai samajh hi nahi aaya ki kaha seat hai.. Bohot confusion hai ji.." She stopped with a giggle "Aur phir I am very sorry for disturbing your sleep ji. Trust me, I had no such intentions like that..!" Nandini looked at Manik who smiled a little at her "She's cute, ain't she?" He spoke in her right ear and she nodded with a giggle.

"Ji yeh na.. Actually humara berth hai!" The lady spoke again and sat on the consecutive lower berth while her husband arranged the suitcases beneath the seat.

"Myself Paro Singh ji. Parminder Aman Singh!" She looked at her with a cheeky smile to which Nandini smiled awkwardly and then looked at Manik.

"E ji..Aapko disturbance toh nahi ho rahi hai na? Hum 5 minute baad aajayegi ji.. No problem ji!" She said looking at Manik and Nandini in a quilt to which Nandini quickly separated and said "No No! Please have your seat.." Paro smiled and sat back

"Aap kaha tak jaa rahi ho tab?" She asked softly to which Paro smiled and said "Chennai and then woha se flight leke Thiruvananthapuram! Aap ji?"

"Chennai to Pondicherry!" Paro smiled back and the journey to Chennai turned from a gloomy to a fun-filled and enjoyable journey.

"So tiring Manik!" She quickly fell on the bed as he closed the door of their main suite and walked inside the bedroom, in Pondicherry.

"I know right. The only reason I wanted to come on a flight" He took off his tee and kept it on one of the chairs and hoped on the bed next to her.





In a turn, he quickly pulled her to him and she pushed him softly before keeping her head on his chest "Kya hua?"

"Been long.. Honeymoon hai, have all the rights to be with you.. Only youuu!" He sang out to which she giggled "Paro was so cute and sweet na?"

"Yeah even Aman was a good man to be with! Now sleeeep!" Nandini hummed and they dozed off.
