15. The 'Grahan'

She smiled at him as he smiled in his sleep and pulled her closer while she caressed his chest and finally wrapped her hands around him. After showing how much they loved each other in the second night of their honeymoon, he was fast asleep while she had woken up at around 6 am. Pondicherry had given them innumerable memories in these two days and she couldn't wait to make more, holding his hands.

"Wake up, Mani" She ruffled his hair to which he nudged but then smiled feeling her touch and pulled her closer "Tum bhi so jao na, I am tired" She let out a small giggle at the baby sleeping in disguise of a man and closed her eyes too hiding her head in his chest, her safe solace.

It was around 11:30 and both were ready after a milk-bath together to roam around the city. She was clad in a tee and trousers while he too was decked up in casuals. Adjusting her hair, she looked at the washroom cabinet to find their used clothes scattered around on the shelf. It had her 'almost-tore'  night wear too which she had wore to bed last night. He was almost so desperate to see her and love her that he didn't notice that it costed her 3500 bucks to buy this intimate wear. She blushed a little and came out as he called out and roamed her eyes on her very own Greek god.

"Let's enjoy!" He called for his hand and she happily gave in and they both went out to explore the unexplored city.

Everything was just perfect. Just the way she had been dreaming about her marital life since her teen days when she used to watch romantic movies. Manik was just the Leonardo she dreamt of.

"Here's to my camera, love!" He took out the DSLR and clicked some pretty pictures of her near the rock beach while she happily posed for them.

As both of them were walking around a nearly vacant lane, he pulled her closer and kissed her cheek. Having the desi-Indian-shy 'naari' she was, she looked around and then widened her eyes at her "What?"

"People would have seen it..!" He caressed her waist to which knots formed in her stomach and she jumped "Manik! Stop!"

"Probably the best honeymoon spot ever found!" He winked at her as he praised the city and both roamed and romanced, hand-in-hand.

It was around night and she had decided to take out the 4560 bucks wala night-wear on the last day only, i.e the day after tomorrow. She applied the lotion on her skin and noticed Manik smiling, his eyes glued on the DSLR.

She blushed knowing the reason behind his sudden smile and continued admiring the breathtaking smile he had.

"You are probably more beautiful than the sea!" He called for her hand as she climbed the bed and she gave in happily falling on him.

"I love you!" She whispered and went on the top of him while he kept the camera away and slowly switched off the room lights which had their switches just beside the headrest.

"I love you more!" He wrapped his hands around her waist while she continued kissing his subtle, face and neck.

Meanwhile in Kanpur.

"Bhabhi, aap baat kijiye na.. Aap maa hai" Divya nudged Sreelekha who looked tensed and shook her head "Kya Divya.. Maine kabhi Manik se aise baat nahi ki, Nandini toh door ki baat hai"

"Lekin unke khushiyon ki baat hai, aapne suna na Panditji ne kya bola" Sreelekha nodded and looked at Aditi who looked helpless too.

"Aditi tum baat karo na?" Aditi looked at both of their pleading faces and sighed "Thik hai"

He was probably having his time right now. Nandini was taking him to the most amazing ride he had ever been to and he could never be enough thankful to her. He let out a groan as she continued. She was leading today and he happily gave in.

Out of nowhere, his phone started ringing but both of them were busy in their la-la world.

His eyes went open as he sensed her moving away towards the coffee table "What??" He kind of shouted which accompanied a frustrated groan to which she showed him phone and said "Maa ka phone hai, Mani" He gritted his teeth and pulled the quilt while she walked to him with his phone which showed '2 missed calls from Maa ❤'

She sat beside him and he called his mother keeping the call in speaker.

"Jee Maa!" He spoke as soon as it got connected "Manik, main Aditi Chachi bol rahi thi.. Kuch baat karni thi"

"Jee Chachi!" He ruffled his hairs and spoke.

"Urm.. Wo, did you two consummate the marriage?" His eyes widened and she too looked at him "K.. Kyun chachi?"

"Just asking..!" Aditi answered from the other side to which Nandini motioned a NO with a embarrassed eyes and he nodded "Na.. nahi.. Nahi Chachi" Aditi let out a relieved smile along with Divya and Sreelekha and she continued "Haan! Good.. Don't.. Panditji ne bola hai ki ek havan karwane ke baad ki Shaadi ko pura karne.. Kuch grahan dekha hai jo aage problems laa sakti hai" He nodded and both cut the call saying good night.

"Maine socha tha Manik bohot fast hai" Divya giggled with the ladies and Sreelekha "Acchaa hai! Abb jaldi se havan karwa denge.. Itna bhi zyaada slow nahi hai aapka Manik!" And the ladies giggled at the cost of the couple who were just going to have an amazing night together.

"Uff! Panditji bhi na!" He giggled and keeping the phone away, pulled her closer to which she pushed him "No Manik!"

"What nonsense..! Don't tell me you believe in all these" He questioned with exclaimed eyes to which Nandini shook her head "No still Manik!" Manik palmed his face "We have done it around seven times Jaan? Nothing happened na!" He caressed her hair to which she covered the quilt around her "Still Manik.. I am scared.. Sirf do hi din toh!"

"Arey but-" He was about to speak more when he noticed her tensed face and gave in. Pulling her to him, he caressed her hair "It's okay...we won't do it.. Now smile!" She let out a small smile and hugged him tightly while the already turned on Manik abused the Panditji in his mind, umpteen time.
