7. Comforting

"Tumhe darr lagraha hai kya?" He asked to which she asked "Kyu?"

"Meri itni badi family hai, tumhari itni choti.. Will you be able to adjust?" He asked looking into her eyes to which she smiled and pressed his forehead more "That's why I guess, I said Yes!" His smile was worth watching for that while.

"Hum bhi tumhari tarah the. Chota sa parivaar, Delhi me. Main 4 saal ka, Bhai 10 saal ka!" She kept massaging his heard and listening to him. She wanted to know about him more than what she knew.

"Papa padhai me acche the, lekin dadaji ko achanak heart aagaya jab wo sirf 16 saal ke the! Sabse bade the toh Jitni bhi padhai ki sab chor chaarkar ek company me naukri lag gayi... Kaam kara, bhaiyon ko dekha.. Bade Chacha Kanpur shift ho gaye kyunki unhe wohi naukri lag gayi and Chote Chacha apni medical ke wajah se Kolkata chale gaye.. Sab theek chal raha tha.. Maa ko afsoos tha ki Papa itne talented hone ke baad bhi ek choti si company me kaam karke din guzaarna parraha hai, paison ki tangi waise thi nahi toh bhai ko bhi don Bosco me de diya aur main toh chota tha!" He took a breath while she absorbed all his words and imagined.

"Phir achanak se wo company band ho gayi jab main 4 saal ka tha.. Hum raaste me aagaye.. Bohot mushkil se rented ghar me rehne lage tab Bade Chacha ne Papa ko Kanpur bulaya aur  tab se hi hum joint family me rehne lage.. Bade Chacha aur Chote Chacha sab sambhalte the aur Papa tabtak apni padhai Jaari rakhi and phir IRS ke through railway me chale gaye..and thats how we became the joint family!" He ended with a laugh to which she smiled and soflty pulled his right cheek. He decided not to look at her so to discomfort her anyhow since he was liking the touches from her side.

"Aap sab kitne intelligent ho na!" Manik smiled "Tum bhi toh kitni intelligent ho!" She smiled and then a thought striked her and she bent down to whisper in her ear "Humare bacche bhi itne hi intelligent honge?"

A red hue spread across his cheeks as he widened his eyes at her who giggled at his expression. He soon controlled his blush and smirked at her "Tum Maa banogi toh zaroor honge!"

"Aapki life me koi tha nahi pehle?" She asked out of the blue to which he answered "Nahi.. Sab cousins and all ke saath ki din beet Jaata tha toh kabhi kisi aur ko khojne ki chah nahi rahi... I did get proposals lekin never accepted any..!"

Nandini smiled "Cousins ke saath kitna maza aata hai na?"

"Bohot zyaada!! Pata hai hum diwali me puri raat Jaagte hai.. Bohot zyaada mazaa aata hai!!" She looked at him with excitement "Puri Raat??"

"Haan!! Chhat pe!!" Nandini smiled weakly "I never had such amazing cousins! My cousins were always very boring and we met very rarely!" He giggled "Iss baar tum bhi Mrunal ke saath Aajana.. Sab saath me jagenge!"

"Main ka..kaise?" She asked to which he sighed "1 hafte baad hu shaadi hai humari!! No one will say anything!"

"Theek hainn!" That smile on her face made him so happy that literally butterflies started dancing in his stomach "Main Navya ko bhi bula lu? Uska bhi koi cousins nah-" Manik smiled "Suree!!" And his mind mentally smirked 'Cabir!!'

"Manik aap na bohot acche hai!" She ruffled his hair slowly to which he smiled and snuggled in her lap "Tum bhi bohot pyaari ho"

"Accha Manik chalein.. Aarti shuru hogayi.. Aur phir ghar bhi wapas jaana hai!" Manik nodded and both stood up to watch the serene Aarti the Holy Ganga was gifted to.

This is a very small update but who wants a long Diwali update with a ki- I shouldn't REVEAL.
