-Journee's POV-
It was Thanksgiving morning and I looked through the wardrobe I brought. Five outfits, I brought, two of which were casual comfort gear while the other three were more casual dressy? I guess?
This whole thing was new to me. With the Holmes’ it didn’t seem such a big deal to figure out what to put on to impress because I didn’t have to. This situation, however, was different-far more….anxiety-inducing.
“What do you think of this?” I asked, turning to Jasmine as she laid there surrounded by the baby pillow. “Too dressy?”
She cooed.
“Take that as a yes.” I turned back to my clothes and found a black pants suit. It wasn’t necessarily a suit but a set, and I had never worn it before. “What about this?” I asked her.
She cooed again.
“Like this one better?”
