For most of the evening I’d been listening to and watching this woman with awe. She truly had gone through so much in her life and had overcome it all.
I didn’t think that I could be more impressed by her, and admittedly, more attracted to her. I wanted to hear more-I wanted to know more about Journee Woods.
But my mam! The woman was relentless with the hoard of never ending questions that she was bombarding Journee with. It was a bloody interrogation for sure! Moreover, she was practically hogging little Jasmine to herself.
And even then, Journee handled it all with grace and a smile. The woman was amazing, to say the least. No woman, that I’d ever brought home-Princess being the least of them, ever handled my mother the way that Journee did.
