I was tied after my meeting and the long trip home. I really did not have the energy to have a family dinner and meet my brothers soon to be wife. But my mother has asked me to so I will do it. We pulled into the driveway and up to the front door. I hoped out and walked into the house and made my way to the dining room. As I walked through the door the smell of chocolate and cinnamon hit me then I see her. She looked magnificent she is the hottest woman I have ever seen. Mate my wolf jumped for joy. I locked eyes with her and walked straight up to her. I wanted to grab her and bend her over the table and take her right here and now.

So, who is this?

This is Max Winters from the Red River pack she is to be married to your brother Sam next month.

I wanted to jumper over the table and kill my brother for marrying my mate. I wanted to punish her so bad for wanting to be with someone that was not her mate.

I am not staying good night everyone.

I turned and started to walk out.

Cooper where are you going?

I turned back to look at my father.

I cannot have dinner with her here. I was so angry I wanted to punch someone.

Then I turned back around and walked out. I could not believe that my mother and father wanted me to marry her, but I turned it down to wait for my mate and it turns out to be her. I wanted to take her to my room so bad. I am so angry that she would marry someone that was not her mate. I cannot believe she would do that to me it made me so angry. I have been looking for my mate for since I turned into my wolf for the first time at 15. I walked up the hallway then the smell of chocolate and cinnamon hit me, it was mesmerising. I started towards it. As I came around the corner, I seen her opening her door, so I pushed her into the room and closed the door behind me. She turned and looked at me I looked her straight in the eyes.

How could you?

How could I do what?

How could you marry someone that is not your mate?

It is not like I had an option and anyway what is it to you?

My mother died when I was 4 years old, and my father had nothing to do with me after she died until he told me that I had to marry your brother.

She is so beautiful I just could not help myself, so I grabbed her and pulled her close and kissed her. She tasted so amazing, and it just felt so right. Then she pulled me in close and deepened the kiss. Then she pushed me away.

We cannot do this I am meant to be marrying your brother.

I will take care of it.

With that I turned and left the room but not before turning to look at her one last time. Once I was in the hallway, I walked straight down to the dining room to talk to my father.

Alpha Jack can we talk in your office please.

Sure, we can son.

So, we made our way to his office. Once we were in his office he sat in his seat.

So, what’s wrong son?

Max is my mate.

What?

I know I was meant to be the one to marry her but said no so you made Sam.

But then it turns out that she is my mate. You cannot let Sam marry her.

It is ok son I will sort it out and you will be the one to marry her if that is what she wants.

Thankyou father. I think I am going to head off to bed now we can talk to her in the morning.

Alright son good night.

I left my father’s office and went up to my room to have a shower and got into bed. I could not wait till tomorrow so I could tell Max the good news. I tossed and turned it was hard been this close to my mate and not been able to be with her. I could not sleep so I got up and went to find my brother Sam. I found him sitting in the lounge drink a glass of winskey next to the fire place.

Hi Sam can we talk?

What do you want haven’t you already taken and from me?

What have I taken from you?

I f****d the woman who I have to marriy.

That’s what I am here to talk to you about. I haven’t had s*x with her but she is my mate.

So what does that mean for me? Do I still have to marry her?

I have had a talk to father and he has said that you don’t have to marry her. She will become my wife and be the future Luna.

He got up and walked over to the liqure cabinet and got me a glass of wiskey. He walked back over to me and handed me my drink then sat back down. He then picked up his drink.

We taped our glasses a downed our drinks.

I hope you find your mate to brother. Well I am going to go to bed now.

So I made my way back up to bed and hoped in. I tossed and turned but eventually fell asleep.
