I looked at the clock it was 5pm already so I started to get ready. I pulled out the dress and found some underwear to go with it. I did my hair in nice soft curls and put a couple of pins in it to keep it off my face. I then did my makeup I put on ruby red lipstick with winged eyeliner and then put my dress on. I then walked over to the mirror and I liked how it hugged my body perfectly and it had a high split up one leg. I walked over to my bed and sat down as I was putting on my shoes, I heard a knock at the door.

Lucy walked inside.

Dinner is ready comedown to the dining room when you are ready.

I walked into the dining room there was a beautiful mahogany dining table all laid out with china with silver utensils and crystal glasses. There were only two empty seats left as I walked over Sarah came over to me. She was in a long red silk dress with her hair up in a fancy twist.

She walked me over to the table and got me to sit next to Sam. Sam was wearing a dark grey suit with a blue tie. As I sat down, he leaned over to me and wisped in my ear.

Good evening everyone Cooper is running late but will be here soon, but we will start without him. Let us get the greetings out of the way. Everyone this is Max Winters she will be marrying Sam in a months’ time. She is from The Red River Pack. Max as you already know I am Alpha Jack this is Luna Sarah your soon to be husband Sam. This is my daughter Sally. Sally looked just like he mother but had long blonde hair with soft brown eyes like her mother. She had her hair down and straight with a forest green silk dress. This is my Beta John. John was dark skinned with short black hair and was shorter than Alpha Jack with amber brown eyes. He was dressed in a navy-blue suit with a black tie. This is my Delta Joe. Joe was a pail white with white, blond hair and ice blue-coloured eyes. He was as tall as Alpha Jack, but he was a lean build. He was dressed in a white suit with a white tie. And my son that is not here yet is Cooper soon to be Alpha once he finds his mate. He is running late as he was in a meeting but is not far away. Now the introductions are out of the way lets have dinner Lucy can you please bring in the dinner.

Lucy went to the kitchen and all the workers started to bring out the plates of food. They had made a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. It smelled delicious and I was starving. As they were putting the plates on the table in front of everyone a smell of spring rain in the forest and sandalwood hit me out of nowhere it was intoxicating.

As the most gorgeous man I have ever seen walked into the room. He was tall muscular and tan with black hair and sparkling sapphire blue eyes. He was dressed in a black suit with a royal blue tie. Our eyes locked as he walked over to the table. I could not stop steering at him. I could feel my body getting excited as he got closer. I did not know what was happing to me I have never felt like this before. He stopped when he got up to the table. He just stood there and was staring straight at me.

I felt very exposed in the dress I was wearing but also felt very sexy. I have never felt that way before, but he made me feel very sexy and I just wanted to take him to my room and f**k his brains out. I do not know what had come over me I have never ever thought about s*x before but now that was all I could think of. I want him to just whisk me away to his room and have his wicked way with me.

Cooper’s face dropped and he looked like he was ready to kill someone and then looked me straight in the eye like he was disgusted and angry with me.

I am not staying good night everyone.

Then he just started to walk out.

Cooper where are you going.

Cooper stopped and turned to face his father.

I cannot have dinner with her here.

Then he turned and walked out without looking back or saying another wood.

Everyone just looked at me. Sam stood up so fast he knocked his chair over.

I told you the arranged marriage was a bad idea you had to get me some slut that has f****d my brother and probably 100 other guys.

Then he stormed out of the room.

Sarah walked over to me and put her hand on my shoulder.

I am so sorry Max I do not know what has gotten into them.

Its ok Luna Sarah but I think I am just going to go to bed thank you for everything.

I stood up from the table and walked out of the dining room. I made my way up the flights of stairs and down the hallway. As I got to my door and started to open it, I was pushed into my room by someone and almost fell over then I heard the door closed behind me. As I turned around the smell of spring rain in the forest and sandalwood hit me as I looked up Cooper was standing there just steering daggers at me. He was so angry it scared me.

How could you?

Cooper just stood there and looked at me and without any warning grabbed me pulled me close and kissed me. It was like electricity on every part of my skin that he was touching, and I could not help myself I pulled him into me to deepen the kiss Then it was like a switch flipped and I pushed him away.

He just looked at me with sadness in his eyes and it made me feel sorry for him. I just wanted to comfit him.

Then he turned and walked out of my room. Looking at me one last time as he left and shut the door behind him. I did not know what to do I was so confused and sad. I do not know how I could feel so in lust and in love with someone I had just meet and did not know. I walked over to my bed and sat down not knowing what to do. So, I got undressed and climbed into bed and cried myself to sleep.
