This leans into fated, cursed, gothic romance vibes — like _From Blood and Ash_ meets _These Hollow Vows_ but make it revenge.

*REBORN TO DESTROY THEM *

*_He called her his soulmate.

She called her best friend.

They called her a sacrifice.__

Lyra Bennett died with dirt in her mouth and their names on her lips.

Daniel — the man she would’ve married.

Maya — the girl she would’ve died for.

Together, they dragged her to the woods on a Blood Moon night, put a rope around her throat, and buried her beneath the cabin they built with her money.

They thought she would stay quiet.

They were wrong.

The Moon heard her.

And the Moon answered.

Now Lyra has come back wrong.

Her heart doesn’t beat. Her skin is cold. Her eyes are black as the pit they left her in.

But her love? Her rage? That’s still burning.

She isn’t alive. She isn’t a ghost.

She is a curse with a pretty face.

Bound to this world by betrayal, and to them by a thread of blood.

And curses don’t forgive. Curses collect.

Daniel is drowning in nightmares. Every time he closes his eyes he sees her in the dirt.

Maya is breaking. The girl who smiled while she shoveled now can’t sleep without screaming.

Lyra could end them.

But what’s the fun in that?

Instead she haunts.

She whispers in their bed at 2:17 AM — the exact time they killed her.

She leaves roses on Maya’s pillow. Thorns in.

She kisses Daniel’s neck in the dark, and when he turns, there’s no one there... except the cold.

“I loved you,” she breathes against his ear. “So love me back. The way you did in the ground.”

But the magic that pulled her back is hungry.

With every tear she steals, with every bit of fear she feeds on, more of Lyra disappears.

The pitiful girl who just wanted to be chosen is fading.

And the monster wearing her face is getting stronger.

The Blood Moon is rising again.

And the curse has rules:

__To be free, she must have blood.

To be human, she must have love.

She cannot have both.__

Daniel is begging for forgiveness now. On his knees. Crying.

Maya is begging for mercy.

Lyra is done begging.

*REBORN TO DESTROY THEM* is a dark romantasy about a girl betrayed by the two people she trusted most, and the deadly choice between vengeance and the last shred of her humanity.

Expect: Fated doom, gothic atmosphere, morally grey FMC, enemies-to-lovers-to-enemies, and a love story that might be more dangerous than the revenge.

__She died for them.

Now she’ll make them die for her.__

_Some hearts are not meant to be broken. They’re meant to be

Chapter 1:the pit
They didn't bury me deep enough. I remember the cold. Not the kind that comes with winter, but the kind that seeps into your bones when hope is dying. The damp earth pressed against my body. Dirt filled my mouth every time I tried to breathe. My hands clawed desperately at the soil above me, but every handful slipped through my fingers. Above me, I heard laughter. Soft. Cruel. Familiar Maya. My best friend. Stop screaming, she said with a sigh, as though I were nothing more than an inconvenience. It's unbecoming. Another shovelful of dirt crashed onto my face. I coughed violently, choking as the soil filled my mouth and nose. Tears streamed down my cheeks. Maya... please... She didn't answer. Instead, someone else did. Daniel. The man I had loved for four years. The man I planned to spend forever with. I heard his footsteps stop beside the grave. For one foolish second, hope returned. Maybe he had changed his mind. Maybe he was going to save me. Daniel...My voice came out as a broken whisper Please... don't let her do this. Silence. Then I felt another load of dirt hit my chest. "You said you loved me," I cried. I did. His voice was calm. Cold. But he never looked at me. I loved you once. The words shattered something inside me. Then... why? A long pause followed. When he finally spoke, every word cut deeper than the shovel. Because she's better for the business. My heart stopped before my body did. Business. That was all I was worth. A sacrifice. A stepping stone. The woman I called my sister... The man I called my future... Together, they had planned my death. Maya laughed quietly. I told you she'd believe every word you said. Daniel let out a tired chuckle. She always did. Every memory flashed through my mind. The birthday surprises. The late-night phone calls. The promises. The kisses. The dreams of our future. Every single one of them had been a lie. The dirt reached my chin. My body was growing weaker. I never did anything to either of you. You existed Maya replied. And that was enough. I stared at the small circle of moonlight above me. The Blood Moon. Its crimson glow painted the sky like fresh blood. The last thing I saw before the darkness swallowed me. The last thing I heard was Daniel's voice. Let's go. No apology. No regret. No goodbye. Their footsteps faded into the distance. The forest became silent once more. I was alone. My chest burned. My lungs begged for air that would never come. My heartbeat slowed. Then... Everything stopped. I died at exactly 2:17 a.m. Under the Blood Moon. And somewhere deep beneath the earth... Something else opened its eyes.
