"What were you scared of?" He wasn't making fun of me, he was genuinely asking. Or it certainly seemed that way. "Meeting you, you not liking me and rejecting me." I felt at ease talking to him, like I have known him my entire life. I was still nervous of his reaction, but at the same time I felt like I was finally home. He looked at the ground and for a few moments there was silence between us. I grew more anxious by the second and I wished for him to just say something, anything was better that the nerve wrecking nothingness. "Did I give the impression that I would reject you?" He finally looked up at me with his eyebrows furrowed. I was taken aback at his question. "No, you did nothing wrong. This has everything to do with me and my insecurities, that I thought had been resolved."
