I woke up the next day to the worst headache ever. I groaned and rolled over hoping to wrap my arm around my mate. I just wanted to snuggle into her. But the bed was empty. Popping my eyes open I could see Acaisia was gone. My heart dropped. I thought after everything last night she would stop ignoring me. Guess I was wrong.
Then I noticed a folded piece of paper on her pillow. Taking it, I opened it to find a short paragraph. Smiling, I read it.
