Banished from my pack, story of an outcast
"Elara, daughter of the moon wolf, you are hereby banished from this pack from now henceforth."
Lonefox Clan leader Caspien growled. His voice was a low growl, a stark contrast to the almost bored look on his face.
"You have violated our golden rules by having ties with a Rivalry pack. That is heresy and forbidden," he continued.
"Pack, what are the three golden rules of our pack?"
Caspien yelled, lifting his hands.
"There are three golden rules guiding our pack." The pack spoke in unison.
"…First: Do NOT MATE WITH THE MEMBER OF AN ENEMY PACK….
Second: Do not betray the brotherhood of this pack to save your skin….
Three: do not go solo hunting."
The others watched as I walked down the treacherous, mud-slick ground with shame and humiliation.
In the heart of Shallowground woods, a formal gathering of the Lonefox pack, exceeding fifty members, took place.
Caspien, their leader, addressed me directly, his words a sentence. "You will no longer be part of the pack, your forbidden relationship with your lover; Leo who we found to be a member of the Wildfang.
" I pleaded, my voice trembling, as I fell to my knees, "Please Caspien; Leader of the Lonefox, forgive me and spare my family this humiliation."
Standing on a large, white, circular stone, Caspien surveyed the pack and delivered his verdict:
"Sorry Child. Forgiveness for such treason has never been part of me. What you have done, has made this pack look weak and vulnerable. That I can't accept as the leader of this pack.
You better flee before the moon comes out...Moon wolf."
The full moon was about to shine. Hidden in the clouds, one could see its glows.
On the onset of the full moon, the pack will transform. Then the hunt begins.
I left the pack, burdened with shame and humiliation of an outcast.
"You'd better run," Caspien sneered. "Tell your boyfriend and his pack we're coming to get them."
I heard his voice distinctly in my mind.

"Elara!"
Father called after me. He was among the people standing among the others, silently awaiting his daughter's trial.
He had left the others and secretly chased after his daughter.
With accelerated inhuman speed, he sprinted towards me. He was able to find her sitting under the shade of an old oak tree, lying lifeless on the bark.
"Elara," he whispered gently.
"Father! . I whimpered. Weakly.
At first glance, I thought I was in a trance, blinking my eyes to adjust to the reality.
"Honey It is me. I have come to help you."
"Father," I began sobbing. Finding it hard to piece all of this together. "I love Leo."
"I know my child," the father held me in his arms like a mother hen would cover its new broods. "I know. I will always be with you with any life decision that you make."
"My park has rejected me, Father. I am now an unwanted outcast," I kept crying. Uncontrollably.
"Where do I go? I am lost!!"
"No, you are not." Father stared at me for a moment.
"You will have to stay in your mother's place till things calm down."
Father assured me. He looked at me in those calm, experienced large eyeballs.
I had some sort of confidence. I felt a little calm that after all, not everyone in the Pack hates me.
"Go now, before the others will start looking for you.". Dad released me from his grasp.
"...take this."
Father gave me a piece of paper and some cash. Also, he handed a flashlight.
I switched on the flashlight, and it flickered.
"301 Colmon Street"
"That is your mother's address." Father breathed heavily.
"Ain't you coming?" My eyes Staring at him, questioning.
"No, I am. But by the trails of the moon, I will find you," he said.
"It's too dark from these woods to the road. Go now before they catch up to you."
I hugged my father one last time and kissed him on the cheek.
I didn't look back as I took to my heels barefooted.
Soon the hunt will start, and it would be foolish of me to be in the woods while they hunt.
Then, I heard a howl. I knew that instant that the hunt had started.
With each leap under my breath, I feel my limbs change form. I stumbled and fell, throwing the touchlight to the ground. The agonizing pain of transformation gripped me. My feet changed into paws.
Suppressing the need to howl, I growled with pain.
If the others heard my call, they would be attracted to where I was.
My eyes adjusted to the night. I could see in enhanced night vision with a now more sensitive sense of smell.
I galloped off as far away from the others as I could.

"Where were you, Henry?"
The question caught Father off guard. The chase was ended. A few antelopes, reindeer, and bison were among the prey.
Now, a few of the others had returned to their human shape. Where others ate their food in blood whilst in their lycan form.
"Emm. He lied and said, "I joined the hunt."
LIAR!
A TRAITOR!
WE DIDN'T SEE HIM!
The others pointed fingers accusingly at him.
Caspien remarked, "You pursued your daughter after we exiled her."
Knowing that he had been found guilty of abandoning the pack while the hunt was underway, Father knelt and began to cry.
"She is my daughter, and I am her father," Father implored, "...please do not harm her."
"You've shown us that you are accused of being disloyal and will face the consequences."
Caspien's eyes flashed maliciously as he grimaced.
"You would be part of our dinner tonight."
Father could see several of the other lycans who had not yet changed back to human form.
"Please, no. NO, DO NOT. " He plead for his life, but it was too late.
As he continued to scream, they tore him limb from limb. He was ruthlessly broken up and fed to the carnivores.
