Leo’s POV
Julia suddenly bursts from the hospital room, tears streaming down her face. She quickly runs past us, and out of the medical clinic. Fantastic, I think.
“Tell your brother he’s an asshole!” I say to Jeff, and then I run after my distraught sister in law. It doesn’t take me long to capture her, despite her recent growth spurt. I’m still the Lycan king, and therefore one of the fastest beasts in the kingdom even without shifting into my Lycan Frank.
I grab Julia, wrapping my arms around her, and use my calming aura on her in an attempt to soothe her. It takes awhile, as she is extremely upset right now.
“He, he, he says he doesn’t want me!” She wails in my arms. “He told me to go away!”
“Shh, it’s going to be ok,” I say softly.
