Julia’s POV
The Harvest Moon medical clinic is a relatively modern building, obviously built sometime in the last 10 years. Still, it was relatively small and homey. In addition to the usual offices, exam rooms, laboratory, and a surgical suite, the clinic had 4 hospital rooms containing a total of 8 beds that were separated by curtains, and each one having all the modern medical equipment one could possibly expect.
The room that Ross and I have been assigned to contained a large picture window, from which I could watch the beautiful colors of the sun setting in the west from the comfort of our beds. Being so close to the summer solstice, the sun didn’t set until just after 10 pm. But despite the fewer hours of darkness, I had a feeling that I was in for a long and sleepless night
