Episode 1
Agatha's Perspective “Watch out!” I heard, but it was too late. Immediately, I looked to my left, the football collided with my forehead. Hard. I fell on my butt in a thud, my books scattering all over the place. I winced at the pain that pierced through my head. Managing to look up, I saw a hand stretching towards me for me to grab and stand up. I fidgetted with my glasses, placing it rightly to see who it was. Woah… It was Andrew f*****g Sylvester. He was standing in front of me, offering me his pretty hands in public. He looked like a model out of a magazine. His abs were visible via his sweaty jersey. His blue eyes shining despite the sun covering his face. “You alright?” He asked. “You're so handsome.” He smiled widely. And those dimples of his, those gorgeous dimples I wish I could touch. Wait, did I say that out loud? Why do I react this way whenever I see him? “I know, I get that a lot,” he responded, proceeding to help me pack my books. “Besides, it's not like you haven't seen or touched me before.” He winked. I blushed, hard. “Yeah, right… haha…” I laughed awkwardly, making the moment even weirder. He handed me the books as we both got up. “And for what it's worth, you always look good too,” he said, offering me a smile. Those words replayed all over in my head. My cheeks began to heat up as I blushed hard. He has such a great impact on me, every time. “Hey… Drew! Come on, dude!” His friend, Josh, called out to him. Andrew nodded at me and ran back to the field. I drooled at him. At how his back flexed as he ran. How his butt moved like it was seducing me. Those butt cheeks that I'd love to touch and squeeze and do all sort of… “Girl! I hope you're using condom while f*****g him in your imaginations.” What the… I almost jumped in shock. “Tanya!” I called, almost facepalming. “What? We can't have you catching some STIs after mindfucking the school's man w***e… Duhh…” she shrugged. “Seriously? Why am I your friend again? Also, we both know Andrew is not like that,” I defended. “No we don't. I'm telling you, girl… that guy is a man w***e and if you know what's best for you, you'd stay away from him. If not for the STIs, for that…” Tanya pointed at the football pitch and what I saw made me sick. Charlotte kissed Andrew like he was air she needed to breathe from. But the most painful part wasn't that she was deliberately looking at me like she won a lottery but the fact that Andrew kissed her back. I was pained. Jealous. Angry. But I couldn't act on it. Andrew and I are… complicated. Yes, there was that party I and Andrew kissed. And then on a few other occasions, we hung out. We even had what felt like a relationship, even if it wasn't deep or for long. But I could swear we had a connection. I tore my gaze away from them and quickly walked back to the school building. Tanya on my heels, calling out to me. I went straight to history class, unlike before, I opted for the seat at the back, placing my bag on the chair next to me for privacy. “Aggie…” Tanya sang the nickname she gave me but I refused to look at her. As I opened my mouth to speak, our history teacher cut me off. “Settle down everyone. Take out your text books and let's get started,” Mr. Shaw said. Everyone sat ready for class. Tanya took the empty seat behind me. Mr. Shaw wrote on the board and turned to face us but I tore my gaze away, looking out the window when the door of the class slid open. The class went quiet but I didn't really care. Looking out the window, I was sad, trying hard not to cry. I heard Mr. Shaw introducing someone. Then I heard giggles, murmurs and fan-girling? Then I heard movements. I turned to look at what was happening when I was met with a guy. If Andrew was a model, then he was an angel. He was 6 foot tall, well built. Forest green eyes, blonde, pointed nose and a chiseled jaw. “Can I join you?” He asked. His voice was nice, soothing and thankfully, it brought me out of whatever that moment of me scrutinising him was. I nodded, removed my bag and he sat down. The lecture continued, however, my mind was elsewhere. That kiss kept replaying in my mind like a loop with every replay shattering my heart all over. Then I felt it. His stare. “Is there something on my face?” I asked, genuinely concerned. “Yeah… your beauty.” He dropped. I would have blushed if it was coming from Andrew. Wait, was he flirting with me? “Uhm… don't tell me you're one of those flirts. What? Got another pick up line to drop?” “Yeah… Tons. But I can just text them to you if you give me your contact,” he responded, handing me his phone. I rolled my eyes. Yeah, he was cute but he wasn't Andrew. Luckily, he got the memo when I decided to ignore him. **** “I can't believe I allowed you to convince me into going,” I said again as Tanya drove us to the welcome party of one Andre Sylvester, the fraternal twin of Andrew. “Well, after how gloomy you were at school, I figured this was the best way to loosen up, you know.” “The only thing that would make me loosen up, is if I get to see Andrew at the party,” I responded and I could see Tanya almost frustrated. “Gurl… after what you saw? Are you for real?” “I mean, we aren't sure he and Charlotte are back together,” I shrugged. “Even if they are, I'm still okay with loving him from a distance.” The last part stung but after everything, I'll still choose to love him. I don't know why but my fragile heart wouldn't let go of this massive crush I have on him, coupled with our little moments together. “Nahh… what I think you need, is real f*****g, not those day dreams you have. A real love making and no, not from Andrew. Besides, maybe you could find someone at the party.” “Right…” I mumbled and then focused on the greenery that suddenly seemed more pleasant than my conversation with Tanya. When we arrived, Tanya left to hang with some other friends because I refused to dance. I went to what felt like a bar and sat down, my eyes wandering around, searching for Andrew. There he was. Alone. Or so I thought. On getting to where he was, I saw him, his friend, Josh and other guys chatting. As I was summoning the courage to meet him, their conversation caught my attention, keeping me on a spot. “What about your girl, Agatha,” the slim guy asked Andrew but he furrowed his brow, seeming confused. “Come on dude, we all know you've got a thing going on with the chick. Remember last summer party, other times you've been flirting with her…” the guy added, earning giggles from all of them. “Guys, the chick is just a fling he messes around with when he goes on a break with Charlotte. How many times have you tapped that ass, dude?” Josh asked, laughing. “Nahhh… i can't digg that. I'm pretty sure she's a virgin. Virgins aren't my speck. Besides, she's boring. She's just a nerd I get to help me do my homework here and there.” Just a nerd? Really? Is that all he sees me as? My heartbeat began to palpitate. I dug my nails deep into my palm so I could feel myself as I was slowly becoming numb. Empty. “Bro… you're the bad guy!” One of his friends hyped. “Seriously though, that chick irks me with her ugly glasses and red hair. She's ugly and not on my level. I just play with her when Charlotte ain't giving me what I need man. “Can you imagine me being with that chick for real? No way in hell. Chick be feeling fly because I talk to her but she's just a pawn in my game with Charlotte.” They all laughed and then proceeded to celebrate him. By now, I had almost lost my footing. I slowly walked towards the nearest stool and rested my hand on it to avoid falling. I and Andrew had not just been a fling. I had asked him once what we were during last session, if I was his girl and he just said, yeah, we would see how it goes secretly. Tanya knew nothing about it because it was a secret but I thought we had a connection. I thought he loved me or at least liked me. But he actually couldn't stand my presence? I was not his speck? Just a fling and his go-to place for assignments. My eyes stung. My heart hurt. Tears began to flow down my eyes. Everything was just going wrong inside me. I quickly headed for the exit, looking for a safe place to let it all out. On my way out, I bumped into someone. Someone who was calling my name but I refused to answer until I stepped outside into the cool night breeze. I felt like I was having a panic attack. My heart was beating so fast, I thought I was going to die. I let it out, crying uncontrollably. “Hey… Are you alright?” I felt his hand softly wrap around mine, stopping me from going any further. I turned around and was disappointed in who it was. “Right, the last person I wanted to see,” I said to the new guy who asked for my number earlier at school, wiping my tears with the back of my hand. “Woah… okay… but at least tell me why you're crying. I didn't even know you'd come to my party. I would've…” I took a moment to get myself a bit. Shocked, I asked, “This is your party? You're Andre Sylvester? Andrew's fraternal twin?” He nodded. How messed up could this get? Why is he the one to stop me here? Is he going to tell all this to his jerk of a brother? I turned around to walk off but he stopped me again. “What?!” I screamed at him, unable to stop the tears from falling. “I know I might be the last person you want to talk to right now, but at least, you could…” “I could do what? Tell you that your f**k boy of a brother has been messing with my feelings and playing me all these while?” I blurted. He looked stunned, taken aback. “There, I said it. Just… leave me alone,” I added, turning again to head for Tanya's car. “I could help you make him want you,” he said, stopping me on my tracks. Wait, what? Why? How? Several questions ran through my head. Reasons why I should not listen to him came flooding in my mind. My brain was telling me to walk away from him, from this mess. But all of Andrew's words came rushing in as well. His hurtful words squeezing into my mind again. Nerd. Ugly. Pawn. Maybe this could work. I so want to hurt Andrew. I want him to regret all he's said, regret using me. But what's the catch? I turned around to ask Andre when he said; “On one condition.”
