Her Husband (Complete)

"Sometimes life can hit you in the head with the bridge, don't loose faith. You have to find what you love, your desire in life. Do what you believe is great work and love what you do. If you haven't find it yet, just keep looking. Don't settle." It was a great motivation speech by Mr. James Grant, one of the successful businessman in the country. He was one of the motivator speaker at my business college seminar. I had the opportunity to heard his speech.  I stood up for applause like anyone else.  And among the audience, 'I'm his biggest fans’, at least that what I believed.  He started his business from nothing until now he owned Grant Enterprise, one of a prestigious worldwide company. I admired him to be honest, he was my role model. He inspired me and someday I wanted to be like him.  He stepped down from the stage and stoped to shake hand with the Dean and Professors. He had his staff and guards behind him. I held my biography books of him in my hand as I walked toward him. It was my chance to met him, talked to him  and let him know that I'm his biggest fans. He was about to walked out when I approached him. I walked faster so I can catch him. " Mr. Grant, can I talk to you?" I said when I got close to him.  One of his body guard blocked me off. But he turned his head to looked at me. He took a glanced at the book in my hand and he stopped. His hand gave sign to the body guard to let me approached him. Well, it was not like im going to harm him, right? So I stepped closer to him. I can feel my heart was beating fast. 'This is it, I'm going to meet him.'  He looked great on his middle aged. He wore a neat black suit and and looked charismatic with his blond slick hair. He smiled at me.  " My name is Anastasia Hart. I'm a huge fans of yours." I introduced my self excitedly and I shook his hand.'" I’m greatly admired what you have complished Mr. Grant." I told him with enthusiasm  " Thank you very much, Ms Hart. Its my pleasure ." he said " Anna, please. And it was really a good speech Mr. Grant. You inspire alot of people. " I told him excitingly.  He breath and smiled at me.  " Thank you again Anna, I hope I can inspired in a good way." he said sincerely One of his guard approached him and whispered in his ear. He nodded. I knew he had to leave.  " Can I have your signature Mr Grant?" I asked him for the last time before he left and gave him my his-biography book.  He took the book, and looked at me before he signed it.  "Mr. Grant... Can i....took a picture with you? " I said with a little hesitation. Some public figure might not feel comfortable to take selfi with strangers, I know.  To my surprised, he said,  " Sure, Anna. Come close." He gave me hand sign gesture to get closer.  I was so delightful, This was beyond my expectation. Just proving my self how humble he was.  " David, could you please took our picture? " he asked one of his body guard to took our picture.  I gave my phone to the man called David.  Mr. Grant gave me back my book and he stood beside me. I held the book and smiled to the phone camera.  The David guy took few shots and looked at the result in my phone. It took awhile before he nodded and handed me my phone back with a weird face expression.  " Thank you Mr. Grant." I said gratefully.  He smiled and walked away as his body guards assisted him outside the assembly hall.  I squealed with delight and acted just like a kid in candy store. I can't believed I just met him and talk to him even just for few minutes.  I opened my phone and looked at the pictures. I looked so happy with my most adorable figure next to me. I sweared I would print it and put it in the frame.  Then I opened the book to find his signature. He signed there and wrotefor me.    'Dearest Anna,  Hold the vision, trust the process'  -James Grant signature-   I opened my social media account, and started to post the picture. I put on the caption.  With my super-cool-hero!!!  ‘I can't wait to tell Josh about this.’ My inner side said. I walked to leave the hall. I can felt my lips made a wide curve as everyone who passed me looking at my smiling face. But I didn’t care.    My phone was ringing before I got to my car. It was Josh!  "Josh, you are not going to believe it!" I picked up Josh call excitedly.  " I saw your **! You did met him!" he said it loudly. I knew he was excited too. He knew how I adored the James Grant.  " Yes Josh! It was awesome!" I said squealing.  " I bet you sweat glitter " he said laughing. " You should tell me about it! You just mark on your bucket list!" " Yes, that's f*****g true Josh!" I said it excitingly. " Where are you? Are you home?" I asked him " Yes, right now,” he said, “ but I have class after lunch."  " You wanna go for lunch?" I asked. I cant waited to meet him and tell him the story.  Beside, It was already 11.30. I kinda hungry my self. I heard my stomach grumbled.  " Sure, I'll meet you at little sister in 15 minutes?" Josh said.  " Yup. I'll see you there!" I said in time when I reached my car and then drove away.  Josh is my best friend since we were kids. He lived next-door. We used to do everything together. We went to the same school and separated after we graduated from high school. He took the law school and I took business school. We still met each other if he wasn't busy with his study. The law school took most of his time. While I’d been busy my self with study and work.   I lived with my mother, since my father passed away when I was 15. I had to work to live. My mother cant worked anymore because of her stroke attacked 2 months ago and had to used a wheelchair. Thankfully, I had a scholarship from Grant Enterprise since my first year. There was no way I could paid my tuition without the scholarship. Therefore I should maintained my GPA above 3 to kept the scholarship. I always woke up early in the morning to prepared for my mother need for the day, and then go to my college usually until 2 am. After that I worked at the restaurant from 4 to10 pm. That was my daily routine. That's why I didnt have so much time to hanged around with friends. But Josh always there for me even though he had been busy with his study.   I arrived at Little Sister in 20 minutes. It was a bit traffic at this hour. Josh got there first. The cafe were full, but we were able to get a table for two in the corner.  I ordered chicken and red plum salad and orange juice, while Josh order grilled Steak tortila salad and apple juice. He added chicken wings and ice cream as our side dish and desert.  " So tell me about it!" Josh said to me.  He knew I can't stand not to tell him what happen. So I told him everything.  " He is so cool!" I said, "I thought he would said no when I asked him to took picture with me. But he really is a humble man. Gosh! If there is any man left in this world just like him! " I said all my thoughts.  Josh listened to all my story. He such a good listener. I didn't care if he laughed at my expression. It just all out.  " So I guess he beat me up ha?" he said pouting " I bet he is" I said jokingly " You should see his body guard face when I asked his picture" I said grinning.  " The David guy" I said, " He has a weird face look on me." I got a flash memory on his expression.  " Like he crush on you? The body guard of your hero crush on you?" he said laughing.  " Shut up" I grinned at him " It's more like... He saw something weird on my face?"  I told him frowning. Not sure what the David guy face expression was. " Nah, he probably crush on you!" Josh said teasing me.  We were talking, and didn't realize we already stayed there for an hour. We asked the waiter to serve our ice cream. And I ordered 1 more dishes to take away for my mother. We should be leaving in 10 minutes, because Josh had class to attend.  We ate the ice cream when suddenly people looked interestingly at the news on TV. We turned our head to looked the TV displayed not far from where we sat. The waiter reached for the TV remote to increased the TV sound. The anchor said that there was a car accident on the Highway with 2 people inside the vehicle. It was a single accident, that the 2 casualties still alive and in critical condition. But the accident looked terrible. The car crushed badly on the side way.  What the most people shocked were the 2 casualties inside the expensive crushed car were a well known couple in the district. They were Emilia and Ethan Grant. Everyone gasped when the news anchor said that. Ethan Grant was the only child of James Grant, the person I just met this morning. He was the heir of his father billionaire company. The TV showed the picture of Emila and Ethan Grant. They were a perfect couple. Beautiful and handsome. Emilia had a beautiful face with red shining hair and Ethan was a handsome young man with blonde hair. Everyone remembered their wedding less than a year ago. It was the greatest wedding ceremony ever, it was all over the news. A lot of people wished to be like them, as sweet as their love story.   " Oh My God, I hope they are fine ." I gasped. I can't imagined how sad Mr. Grant right now.  " Well, I hope too." Josh said breaking my thought.  " That is tragic. I really hope they survive." I told Josh and he nodded.  " Anyway, have you done with the ice cream?" he asked me.  " Yeah." I said. It was time to leave anyway. I opened my bag to take my purse.  " It's on me Anna." Josh said. He stood up and walked to cashier direction.  " No Josh, it's on me. " I insisted.  He gave me hand gesture 'its fine' and smiled to me.  "Josh..." but he didn't hear me.  He came back and He gave me my mother's take away food. " Let me pay the food Josh." I said.  " It's fine Anna." he said. He gave me 'no problem' looked.  And I gave up. So I thanked him and we separated ways, he went to his law school and I went back to my house to checked on my mother before I go to work.
