The next day, I walked in Thomas office with a curve in my lips, emagined working with her again.
" Christ, what are you doing here?" I asked him once I saw him sitting in Thomas chair.
" You said I should replace Thomas, after I get back from Canada. So here I am." He said.
Oh s**t! I forgot to tell him I'm handling it now.
" It's fine, I could handle it. It's almost done. You can go back to the headquarter now." I said as I put my briefcase on the table and hanged my suit jacket.
" Are you sure?" he asked me like he heard it wrong.
" Yeah, just go." I said smiling.
He stood up from the chair.
" You are smiling. " he said. I gave him question looked. He looked at me as if he observed me.
" Its her, isn't it? " he asked me, but it was more like a statement.
