Days passed and days turned into weeks and weeks turned into a month. She sat there at the same spot a couple of bones littered, boned of stupid wolves that did not have the power to beat her she fed on their flesh while in her grieving state, she was an animal after all. It would be very stupid to deny one's very nature. On the usual dark gloomy day for Scarlett, a female rogue came by, to say Scarlett was shocked was an understatement, in all her year of living she had never come across a female rogue, there were female rouges but they would rather stay hidden than prance about. She looked at Scarlett and smiled "Hi, I'm Lily!" The alpha female raised her brow at how naive the girl was, it was like the female understood and said "I know I know, how could I let my guard down for a second? Well, the answer is simple, it's not every day you come across a female rogue and it would be such a shame to be at each other's neck. We're like rare species, you know what I'm saying?" Scarlett looked amused. "I feel you must be an alpha female, I'm beta blood and they kicked me out because I didn't take s**t from men. I've never met any female Alpha before. What are you doing skulking around? It's not my business so instead of wasting away from the pain put it to use and make terror reign in their hearts. We should start a pack where females can be in a rank and show these men we bow to no one" She pressed on. The Alpha female looked sceptical like the idea was ridiculous but she considered it "Come on think about it, they trample on our gender, we can start a pack and we accept all genders only if they accept the fact that a female can be in a rank if she wants to and she can be so much more" And that was all it took for motivation to light the fire in her bones, like a rusted clock lubricated with oil, she began to tick away. They would pay, they would know what it was to lose everything for being a woman. They would be stricken with terror whenever they heard her name. It was better to be feared than loved. But first, they would recruit members and maybe just maybe there would be hope for the females. Scarlett led her to the cabin in the woods, which she lived in. Her cabin was not shabby at all, it was a neatly decorated "Wow! You're living the life" I was living in a cave not too far from here, it's so quiet here do you even talk?" She wondered how this female survived on her own all this time, she must have attracted a lot of trouble. The female was asking too many questions but it didn't irritate her, in fact, it brought a strange feeling to her which she liked. The girl told Scarlett everything but all she got from Scarlett were nods, small smiles and furrowed brows. The girl did not push anything and Scarlett was grateful. There were spare bedrooms. There was a part of the house she had never entered because her mom had left something important for her but it was a touchy subject for her, which she never really wanted to touch. The next morning they went on raids in a several pack houses, but they would enter undetected and leave undetected. The raids were successful. "These packs must either be very stupid or cocky to have those fatal loopholes in their defences and patrol" Lily addressed the matter of the morning. They enjoyed some shows. Scarlett had become more comfortable in her presence as the days went by, they had a routine spy, raid, eat, kill time and sleep. They finally decided to discuss how to start a pack, they agreed they would roam and explore the lands and find anyone who would be willing to join them. After the day's activities they went to sleep, the next day they would begin their journey to make every female's dream come through and that dream was to finally have a voice to be heard. The next morning they went on no man's land and swept through, they saved a couple of females from near death and also found warrior females. They only agreed if she fought them because they refused to be ruled by a weak leader, they found about twenty women on the first day and decided they wouldn't expand due to the lack of enough rooms. When the women were led into the cabin they were sceptical when they saw it from outside but once they saw the inside they quickly fell at ease. Some women had to share rooms at least until they could get enough money to build a pack house. That night Scarlett stayed up thinking about how to manage a pack and ended up frustrated. Lilly could feel her frustration through the pack link and went to comfort her. The alpha female asked how she knew she was uneasy, she explained to her that the pack link was open. Scarlett learned how to shut her mind unless she wanted it open. When Lilly left the room, she felt a pull that led her towards the forbidden part of the house, she threw caution to the room and followed whatever led her there. She left her room quietly as possible, She walked towards the door handle that had been untouched for years. She pulled out the key that she always wore from around her neck and opened the door that revealed stairs leading to the basement. She descended the stairs at the bottom of the stairs beheld what could be the answers to all her problems. There were six safes, there was a letter on a pedestal and there was a seal on the letter. She reached towards it and ripped the seal off. Her hands trembling as she opened the letter with care you would have thought it was made of glass. My beloved child, Scarlett By the time you read this, I'll be dead already. If your mate ever rejects you or hurts you in any way, it's not the end of the world. I knew that you were special the moment I saw your hair in the light, it was scarlet like the blood that runs in your veins and my veins. Remember those times I would disappear and come back months later I was working on it to way before you existed, well... it's a little gift I got for you. I know by the time you read this you'll really need help. One safe at a time don't be too hasty, OK? Patience is the key Read out the next line CHAOS PHOSPHOROS Χάος Φώσφορος These are the names of your heirlooms, it should be coming back to you now, Tirana or not you're still my little girl. Your beloved mother Rosebells Baltimore. Immediately she read out the words she began to writhe in pain, white hot pain spread through her body, she felt like she was being forcefully torn apart limb from limb. Her veins glowed through her skin in a magma like radiation, She convulsed as the obvious change her body was going through proceeded. A pillar of light and dark enveloped her body, the dark creeper spiraly on the light pillar giving off a the impression of thorns and the pillar of light began to give of an eerie glow of light coated with an outer layer of dark light. Her wolf's genetic makeup was being altered and rebuilt. She had bled out, peed herself and even s**t herself, after the transformation she was left lying in a pool of her bodily fluids all unpleasant. Unable to move she just laid there and balled her eyes out. Look at you this is the second time your crying don't be a p***y. She wiped her tears and looked at the safes, huge doors, she thought. There was a combination of the first safe in the letter. Once she tore out that part of the letter and shredded it for safety, she opened the safe to see the cash in fresh mint preserved by magic. It was old money but it could change that was a petty problem. The room was larger than she imagined, there were some documents with the name Scarlett enterprises and another letter attached. She couldn't be any happier when she read the letter. She went to sleep that night knowing that things were looking up for her. The next morning everyone went out to their respective jobs which they already had. Lily stayed back which was only because Scarlett needed her help and assistance. They left in a taxi and arrived at the mall to get suitable clothes for the place they were going to. They entered an expensive shop and the staff were throwing dirty looks at her, probably wondering why a shabby person was in their store. None of them approached her except one with a welcoming smile, she asked them what they needed, and she said she needed something fit for CEO. She was brought a couple of dress suits, pants suit and skirt suits or just blazers and things that looked formal. She gave them her card saying she had no time and that she just needs one suit. She ended up in a white 3 piece suit, a black and white pen tie, with the knot loosely tied, a black t-shirt some buttons left open, white suit jacket and fitted suit pants, to top it all black ugly shoes(type of shoe) and a black briefcase because she refused to carry a handbag. She turned to the lady who welcomed her with a smile and offered her to be personal stylist and would even pay her for the extra services. The lady was overwhelmingly happy, Lilly raised a brow at her skepticaly, the female Alpha just smirked "I'm not all cruelty and madness you know? I do have a human side which is what you're currently looking at" Lilly rolled her eye's at Scarlett "I wonder if you were going for cross-dressing? I didn't know you like that sort of stuff, " Lilly questioned, "God forbid I wear a skirt, those things are tight as hell, " She replied. "I can see this as a problem in future" Her Beta muttered. She took a taxi to the office, people were confused as to why she came in a taxi, seeing that her designer suit was nothing to scoff at. She walked to the reception, she requested to see the man at the top of the food chain, but the lady refused her request. Scarlett asked her Beta to take out the required files out. The receptionist looked wary but called and told her to go straight to the last floor. She walked over to the elevator and Lilly followed. She pushed the top button. As they went up more people got on and off, finally, they got to the top and surprisingly it was empty, she sat on a chair waiting. Few seconds after they came in, a man came in probably in his mid-fifties but he still looked good, he was something to look at that's for sure. "Hello, I'm Chester Robert, I'm told you have something very important to share with me?" She shook his hand and signalled for her Beta to hand him the necessary documents. Lilly did as told and the man went through the files, his brows furrowed from confusion to realization. He looked up and his face set in a hard scowl, "is this a sick joke, I own this company, built on my father's sweat and blood" "Have you ever been able to open that door?" She asked blankly. "That is none of your concern" he jaw clenched. She walked with her hands in her pocket passed the arrogant man, she placed her self in the tube that was a biometrics system. Right there on the door, the scan read access granted. The man's jaw dropped as he witnesses what was in years the first time the door was opened. He picked up his phone and made important calls. She stepped into the office and right there pasted to her desk an old envelope, she opens up the envelope "You must have finally opened the door please do me a favour and fire that man that prevented your entry. I already settled it with the board I know those idiots are still alive. I know you have done something I expected you to. You have Alpha blood, so it was bound to happen, in this locker, you'll find the keys to your new house, estate. I know that your pack members will need homes, I'm proud of you always, your mother" Just as she finished she heard the footsteps, She needed no questions, so she just threw the evidence from the locker on the table in front of them. They looked at the name on the door tag, "Scarlett Baltimore CEO" Then there was the table tag, office documents everything with her name on it with the date before her mother's death on it. There was no question about it so she set to work, just as she sat down they were arguing about how she didn't have the necessary qualifications. She presented her military certificate, her degrees and every other certificate. They went through it to make sure it was authentic and it was. She was overqualified for the job. "You may leave, I already have my P.A, if you want to assess her C.V be my guest" And with that, she knew there wasn't going to be any oppositions. Some men stayed back to welcome her and wish their condolences on her dead mother and with that, they left. Lilly squealed and danced all over the office, "AHH! I can't believe it you own this freaking empire and just in time to seems like your mother drew up a 21-year plan just in time to, so now it's your turn to play ball" Scarlett smirked at her words, only Lilly would say things like that. She called an emergency meeting to acquaint herself with the staff. Everyone in each department prepared for her arrival. "First up the accounting department" When they got there and she was introduced, her blank face cracked with a smile, "Hello everyone, I know this is sudden but I couldn't come early because I was supposed to come of age to inherit the company. I know some of you have queries about a woman owning and managing this company, but I do recall my mother being the only CEO before me so your worries are irrelevant" at that moment her smile turned frosty. "Any betrayal to this company will not be tolerated. I went through the financial records of the company and someone is making loopholes. I will not forgive the issue, once I find the culprit, the punishment is immediate dismissal. Thank you for your wonderful time" Her smile was warm again but the chills the felt from her words didn't leave the room with her and wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. She was told by Lilly to host a party to finally announce the mysterious heir to the company's return. It was the thing the company had already planned for the last two decades it was gonna be huge. Throughout the day she was busy and was setting up the months plan, going through potential partnerships, shares and things like that. "Lilly, contact the pack members, tell them to pack all they need, we're going to our new home, no one wants to live in that cramped cabin especially when our pack will be growing." Lilly chuckled at her words.
