At the end of the workday, Scarlett had already found her culprit or would she say culprits, and she planned to expose them after she has closely monitored their activities. She took a cab home when she arrived home and everyone was packed. She also packed along with her Beta, they were moving that night, she would uproot the safes which were like large metal boxes and have them moved and buried in her estate. The movers couldn't actually question her actions and had limited information about the boxes. Fortunately, the trailers could carry the safes to her relief, she made sure she cleared out the basement and had it moved by a moving truck that was more like a trailer to the estate. Everything else was blown up, so they could get to the safes. It was hauled and pulled out of the ground, and any traces of it were eradicated. "If anything in that safe so far as has a scratch, I will carefully dissect you and pull out your bones one by one, break a few ribs here and there, nothing serious but you get the gist right? " She patted the man's back; she was taller than him so the intimidation he felt was tense and what made it worse was the cynical smile she had on her face. He scurried off in a fright, Perfect, She thought. She followed the trailers, more like sat in one of the trailers to ensure their safe delivery. Late in the afternoon, the safes were safely hidden in the ground. She had the memories of the truck drivers wiped by yours truely seeing as they were a new pack and hadn't come in contact with beings of magic, sorcery, wizardry, witchcraft, charms, etc, so that they would forget the places they buried the safes and what they buried. It was replaced with them moving lots of furniture, The Alpha had the ability to manipulate people's memories without any bars or limits. She didn't compel them to forget, she literally took out their memories like a page torn from a book and burned them to ashes or better yet a page that had never existed due manufacturing error. The Alpha knowing the drivers would feel a sense of emptiness from that, filled-in new memories to cover it up. Everyone got settled down and the biggest house was left for the Alpha becausewhy not? Lilly stayed with her while some of them chose to live in the already surrounding houses. The estate was surrounded by forest at the edge of the town not too far from the city. Scarlett immediately set to prepare documents that would aid her pack to become official, if not her pack would just be seen as a band of organised rogues and that wasn't good news for them. She made sure to read the werewolf handbook and rules and constitution in case they questioned the making of a pack by a woman which was definitely going to occur. She informed the office that she wouldn't be in for work, as they knew she was settling into her new home. "Hello Alpha, has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? We're making history as we know it! Rebellious women who refuse to submit to the superiors... men, I can just see the headlines, and it makes me tingle all over. If you were a guy, I would have snatched you up, calm, silent, cold, kind when you need to be, scary which is a strange turn on, what am I saying? I'm straight as a pole. Be careful you might give girls the wrong message." Scarlett released one of her short, rare chuckles. A funny thought, this female says I'm kind. She's in for a rude awakening. "Omg you actually laughed or did something close to it... I'm making progress!" She yelled punching the sir in excitement earning an eye roll from the female leader. Then Lilly wanted to know if she was set for the meeting with the council, Scarlett had a smirk on her face that said it all. The next day she when she arrived at the office and held an emergency meeting. "I'll give you all time to come forward and confess your crimes. It'll only reduce your punishment but if you don't, I can't guarantee you your future this is only if you were partook in the making of the loopholes. I have my suspects, unless you can properly backup your innocence, please don't come to complain. I'll personally look into this case; a thorough investigation will be done. No one is off the hook, " She read out the names and there were a few protests, once she shot them a glare they backed down. She asked someone to prepare the conference room for her guest. At 3:00 PM sharp, the group of people were settled in the conference room. All Alphas in the area were present, She didn't look at Xalon, not once; he was ticked, and she knew it. "Good day council members, Alphas... I have no idea why the Lunas aren't present but no matter. I would like to seek the authority of the council members under the witness of all Alphas present in this region to authorize my pack, " Her words came out blank, arguments broke out, but she had a blank face. "An outrage a female cannot be a leader neither can she be seated in the presence of all of us an insult to male wolves," an Alpha said, "If you would be quiet and let me finish; this would save some of your precious time." Her tone commanded respect, and they had no choice but to comply. "The constitution says nothing about female ruling being against the law. In fact, it has been noted that quite a handful of women ruled in the past centuries, facts show that the greatest Alphas to rule was female, but you all refused to acknowledge it and lock it away. Lily, please bring in the evidence, " The men in the room suddenly became wary of her as she mentioned the fact that they hid and manipulated werewolf history, she noticed the looks they were giving her, "Awwww don't look at me like that, I know all of your dirty little secrets, killing me won't bury it I have a lot of connections you know, " she ended it with a malicious grin. Lily came with several books all opened to a specific page, the original diaries of some great Alphas, some of the Alphas before looking into the book complained about the specific book presented being missing from their respective packs. When the pages were turned over to the required page, they were in shock. "I do have the female's diary, but it's sacred it can't even be opened by non - bloodlines. Cursed by a very powerful witch that died, well to prove my point, Lily bring it in" Lilly brought it in and the power already hit them. The book was passed around to see if they could get it open, they all tried opening the book, but it was no use but Scarlett just flipped it open. "If it's sacred. How can you open it?? An Alpha asked sceptically, "Do you know the original Alpha of Crystal Moon pack that was destroyed? Well, you don't remember anyway; all the information about it has been sealed away. The previous Alpha was my mother's father, betrayed by my father. He was a direct descent of Tirana Ramsay." "For all, we know that could be a fake," an Alpha commented. "Invalid argument, the elders can testify. Be careful if you deny it, there's a curse, you are all familiar with the curse. Choose wrongly and history might as well repeat, history can never repeat itself but only a fool can make the precise same decision in the exact same circumstances," The elders of the council saw enough to accept the pack. The Alphas were not satisfied, she released her powerful aura, "if you think I'm not fit for this post, by all means, fight me, but I can't assure your survival then?" The stubborn ones chose to fight her in order to put her in a place. Lily smirked in the corner at her Alpha's flawless victory. Scarlett shook hands with every alpha out of courtesy and council member, females were allowed in the council's reason being that they are just wise not doing a man's job. The hard-headed Alphas refused to shake her hand or even congratulate her but instead snarled at her on their way out. She released a breath she didn't even know she was holding, Lilly jumped around the office in glee and was babbling, Scarlett sometimes questioned the maturity of the Beta. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh yes! Did we kick their freaking butt? Did you see what's his face, face, ha-ha hilarious, an Alpha that refused to accept me into his pack was here and boy did he look pissed. I feel powerful" Lily finally ended her rant with a smirk. All their evidences were still in place, even if they stole it, they would just dig up more. The perks of being born centuries ago... oh man, she thought The staff had already started circulating gossip; they wondered how she could know all those good-looking men. She was tall for a woman, taller the average human woman and man. Her build was intimidating yet soft and feminine. She sat on her chair looking out into the city through her office window. The windows, basically the whole office wall was a window. Some parts were walls, bulletproof glass, soundproof walls and glass; life was good. She crossed her leg over her desk resting her eyes. Peace, She thought. Her intercom disturbed the silence, Lily on the other end informing her that an Alpha wanting to see her; she asked who it was. The name was bitter on her tongue. "Let him in" she composed herself as the door opened. Xalon walked in like he owned the place, his muscles rippled with every movement. He came to stop in front of her desk. "You're lucky you're an alpha, sit down and get to the point" She stated. He had this wicked grin in his face, he turned and walked to the window, hands in his pockets, the sun cast a shadow on him that made him look more handsome. "This must be some Cinderella experience for you, from rogue to Alpha. I will tell you now, soak it up as much as you can, because when the clock strikes twelve, well the dream will be over, and you'll be what was before a stupid b***h that needs a lesson about respect, either that or you'll be dead. The other seems more likely." He would have seemed intimidating to every other wolf but not to Scarlett. He finally turned to look at her just to see she had a smirk on her face. "Don't get me wrong fairy tales are beautiful things. When one's wishes come true" a dark chuckle escaped her, then she continued, "A fairy tale would be... me not being a rogue. A fairy tale is my mate accepting me; a fairy tale would be me depending on and submitting to scums like you. Dominance... is really not a thing for me. I'm not a baby making machine; this is reality. If you're sleeping wake up and smell the smoke because your house is on fire. Besides I'm the villian in this story, " her face stony as she stared at her challenger. "If that is all, I have a company to run" His grin dropped at the female belittling him, he walked towards her with a vendetta. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, you wouldn't want to me as an enemy this early would you?" He skimmed his hands over her chin then grabbed it roughly. She easily grabbed his hands and pushed it away, "You have no rights to put your hands on me, what would your mate say about this?" She gave him a cruel smile. At the statement, He stormed out of the office scowling. She chuckled at his anger. It gave her pleasure just getting to him. Lily walked in immediately after, "What did you do to, huge, big, scary, cocky alpha? He's fuming; I can practically see the smoke coming out from his ears." She chuckled. "I get the feeling we're not talking about him as a person," Scarlett raised her brow at her Beta, who was giving her an innocent look, "Now what gave you that idea?" Lilly batted her eyelashes at her; she shook her head at her then continued with her work, closing time came faster than she expected, she left the office and headed home. She had finally gotten a car; it was a black, sleek, sports car, Scarlett got in the driver's seat and Lily the passenger's seat, she drove off like a person in a car chase. Immediately they got in, the temporary Gamma whispered into the alpha's ear informing her of her guest. She took her Beta to the office to meet the guest. Two old women were seated, who were already scrutinizing her the moment she walked in. She raised her brow in question; they had snobby looks gracing their faces, the one who seemed to be the oldest spoke, "I'm Heide and she's Bertha" the woman gestured and the other one. The Alpha nodded and asked the purpose of their visit. "Oh... this is not a visit, we've come to join your pack," the other lady called Bertha said, "Why is that?" She asked. "Do you know who we are? You should be glad we recognized your pack." Bertha said blankly. "Forgive my ignorance of your social standing, maybe in other packs you are an importance of some sort but this is MY pack, and here you work for respect. I don't throw positions around, here we do things my way, Bertha and Heidi Hastings." The two women were surprised, but their surprise switched to anger, "You know who we are yet you choose to treat us with disrespect? " Bertha seemed a bit chatty now; Scarlett had taken notice. "Like I said you're in my domain, anyone who doesn't know you is either ignorant and has never been educated in our ways or literally lack all five senses. I've been a rogue, you were rogues too, no rogues is not the word... more like non-aligned witches, packs begged for you to join their pack and all of a sudden you come to mine? If I were like the other packs then you wouldn't be here, now would you? " Scarlett said calmly betraying no emotion. Heidi smiled for the first time since they got there, "I like her, see I told you I had good judgments" Bertha rolled her eyes then finally smiled. "We would very much like to join your pack if you will accept us that is? We will be great assets to your pack." Heidi put in a sincere and warm smile. The alpha couldn't help but smile back at the elderly women who didn't look a day over 20, they almost looked 18. "I will be the judge of that, welcome to our pack." She shook arms with them and told Lilly to get someone to take them to pack grounds. The elderly women left with some pack members. "You are doing extremely well Alpha, aren't you glad I convinced you to start something that could basically change werewolf history? Well there have been female Alphas, but that was long ago, if not in the Viking era; it's been so long since then, ok maybe rewriting is more suitable for this situation."Lilly again came in like a shadow but as the Alpha, she could not be caught off guard, that would be the death of her and that's why she always knew the presence of their shadows. A normal werewolf of this era wasn't supposed to know that history especially since the Alphas and council members took great measures to get rid of so how did she know it was the viking era, even thought she had access to the books, the age wasn't mentioned, not that the people in era would know they were called the viking era. That sleazy moon goddess b***h reeks all over, but I'll win this game, she thought to herself. She calmly agreed with Lilly and went back to her quarters.
