We walked together until we arrived in the room. Ethan entered the room first.
"Oh, it's Ethan," one of our classmates said.
Then suddenly I entered. They are all speechless as if they saw a ghost or something. That's strange.
I saw Lucas, he was just looking at me as if he had lost something. What's with wrong them?
"You guys walk here together?" someone asked.
Is it a really big deal? Oh no.
"Yes, any problem with that?" Ethan asked with an annoyed voice.
"Nothing."

That afternoon, I am walking home as usual.
Even though I'm still a Sr. High student I am an independent person. I am living alone, not that I don't have a family but they train me so that in college I can do better and used to it.
*Beep-beep*
I look at the car that just horns at me.
"Heyaaa Seraphina," Lucas said happily. "You want a ride home?" he asked.
"No need, my house is not that far. It's just straight ahead, no need for a ride," I said while smiling.
"Are sure? Or maybe you're just waiting for that certain someone to offer you a ride," he pouted.
I gave him a death glare then I raised my right eyebrow. "Lucas!! Even you as well saying those things?!"
"Uh huh, you can't get rid of that thought for the people around you right?" he said calmly. "Anyways, are you really sure you don't want a ride home?" he asked again.
"Nope and no I'm not waiting to someone specially to that 'certain someone' thank you," I put a stress on that word.
He just laughed.
"Alright then, take care of yourself alright, see you tomorrow Sephora," he said then winked at me.
I giggled a bit. "Yup, take care too!"
Then he drove off.

*At home*
"Finally, I'm home. The day is so exhausting."
I checked my phone if there were any messages. I saw my Mom's number pop out on my phone screen. It's my Grandma, but I'm used to call her Mom since I loss my Mom when I was a kid.
Mom: "How are you there sweetie?"
"Are you doing fine?"
She's so caring as always. I hope she's doing fine there without me.
Iris: "Yes Mom, don't worry about me."
"Worry more about yourself ok?"
"Love you mwuah!"
I was gonna put my phone on the desk when suddenly it made a ding sound.
"Lucas Quintero sent you a friend request."
I accepted it without hesitation. Like some people, I like to stalk other people's accounts. I tap on his profile picture. He's posing like a cute kid holding a camera on a beach.
"Cute."
Suddenly he messaged me.
Lucas: "Heyaaa Seraphina!"
"How are you?"
"Are you home already?"
He asked. Such noisy but I don't mind.
Iris: "Yeah I'm home, how about you?"
I replied back.
Lucas: "Are you worried about me?"
"(* •͈ᴗ•͈)"
"Such a tease as always," I said then giggled.
Iris: "Alright fine, I won't ask anymore" *side eye emoji*
Lucas: "I'm just kidding ಠ_ಠ"
Then suddenly he sent me a photo. That's me...
The one he took when we were going to the library for the first time.
Lucas: "You look pretty here."
I reacted to his message because I didn't know what to reply next then I turned off my phone.
I went to the kitchen then made some coffee then went back to my room.
Suddenly I remembered that Kath and I had a misunderstanding earlier so I messaged her.
Iris: "Hey sweetie, you're still mad at me?"
I sip on my coffee. "Ouch, it's hot. Such a clumsy girl." I wiped my lips and looked at the body mirror near my bed. "It leaves a mark."
She saw my message a few minutes later. Then my phone vibrates.
Kath-O: "It's fine, don't say sorry it's my fault."
"I shouldn't reacted that way."
"I'm such a childish."
"Anyway, love ya Iris!!"
I smiled. I can't lose my friends, especially her.
Iris: "Love you too Kath."
I grabbed the book on my table.
"What chapter 1 stopped again? Oh here."
I spent my whole night just by reading this book. When I checked my phone it was already 11:34.
"Oh no, I read too much. It's time to sleep now."
I noticed the notification on the top corner of my phone. I opened it.
"It's from Lucas."
Lucas: "Goodnight Iris, sweet dreams."
