*Blurry hearing*
"Hey Iris!!"
"Huh?? Uhh.. yes?" *Back to my senses*
What's happening?
"Give me that book," Kath said while trying to reach my book.
"Hey no, stop it!" Hugs my book.
"Me and Cris are talking here for almost an hour and look at you, you're just reading that book," she said while pointing at my book with that death glare.
"Sorry, I just can't stop reading," it feels like... Different... Like, my new world. That's what I feel whenever I'm reading.
"We know, but can you please, just listen to us? For a moment?" Cris said. "And another thing, it's our first day here at Starlight University, aren't you amazed by the things that you see?"
Amaze? I mean yeah it's nice here but... I'm more amazed with this book...
"Anyways why we agree to Iris again? I already forgot why did we transferred here," Kath asked. Oh yeah, I'm the reason why they're here.
"Remember, you love sports? So here we go," Cris said.
"Hmmm, Starlight University becomes famous just because of their sports teams, especially in basketball. They also have an opportunity for a writer like me. Sorry if I dragged you guys to this," I explained.
"Sorry? Are you serious?! It's way better than our old school!" We looked around... And yes, This university is pretty huge.
"I thought I was not going to pass the entrance exam," Kath sight.
"Me too!" Cris did a second emotion.
"Silly, the two of you are smart, why doubting?" I said while giggling, they are so humble as always.
"Oh come on, the three of us, you Seraphina Iris is the one," Cris said, raising an eyebrow to me.
"Don't call me by my whole name silly..."
We walk towards the list board and search for our names.
I spotted my name-
Section A, but I can't find the names of Cris and Kath...
"What??!! Iris, you're not our classmate," Kath shouted.
"Don't shout dummy," Cris bonked her.
"I'm... On the Class A..."
"Are you going to be fine there?" Cris asked... Wait- are they worried?
"Yes of course I will."
"Pretty sure you're not going to talk to anyone," Kath said while crossing her arms.
"Silly... Don't worry, I will be fine. It's not like I'm gonna die if you guys are not my classmate right?" I sighed.
"You have a point," Kath said.
"You're in Class A, that means that famous basketball player will be your classmate!!" Cris said.
"And??"
"What do you mean 'and'?! Iris, don't you feel any excitement or anything?" Cris said in disbelief.
"Nope, I don't care about him."
"As if... You're too obsessed with your frictional men that's why you're not attracted to him," she's spitting facts about that.
*Bell rings*
"Alright guys, I'll see you later," I said goodbye to them.
"Hai!! Take care, Iris!!" They said and I walked away.
While I was walking I took out the booklet from my bag. I take a look at the little booklet's map. Hmm...
"I won't get lost here right? This University is so big."
"Hmm... Let's see, where is Room 12 A."
Suddenly, a guy bumped into me.
"Uhh... Sorry Miss," a nice-looking guy said. Huh? His camera falls off.
"Your Camera-"
"No it's fine, I can just buy a new one," he smiles. "Anyways, you're new here don't you?"
"How did you know?" I asked.
"You're holding that booklet and looking at that map," he said while pointing at it. "C'mon, let me lend you a hand."
'Uh... I'm going to Room 12 A-"
He snaps his fingers. "It's you! You're the transferee right?"
"Y-yeah?"
"Nice... Nice meeting you, but we're going to be late," he said. He grabs my right hand, pulls me and starts running.
*Huff... Huff* it's so exhausting.
I should've been a nonchalant student here, what's happening now?
When we arrive at the room, the teacher is already there.
"Oh, here she is," she said. "Introduce yourself my child, just give us a little information about yourself."
I walk inside the room, I look at the guy that I had interaction with and gesture his hand like he's saying good luck.
"Hello everyone, I'm Seraphina Iris Velasquez, pronounced as Ser-pih-na. 17 years old. Loves to read but not write," after that, I bowed.
"Uh-huh, I'm your adviser, you can call me Ms. Elira. Alright, Seraphina you can sit next to Lucas," he pointed at that guy.
So his name is Lucas...
I walk towards him and sit next to him.
"I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Lucas Serrano, nice meeting you Seraphina," he smiled at me then he offered his hand.
"Nice meeting you too Lucas," and we do shake hands.
"Is everyone present?" Miss Elira asked.
"Ma'am, Ethan is not here again, he has a traini-"
"Who told you that I won't attend the first subject?" A guy suddenly walks in. He's tall, probably he's that guy. "Sorry if I'm late Miss Elira," he said then he walked toward an empty seat beside me.

"Ethan~"
"It's been a while Ethan, we do really miss you."
"Here, it's for you, I made it."
Those fangirls of him are so noisy.
It's... Recess time, I should take a look at my friends.
I took off my phone and chat them, "Guys see you at the cafeteria!"
"Hey Iris, want me to tour you around?" Lucas offered.
"Thanks for the offer but I'm going to see my friends, maybe next time?" I replied with a smile on my face.
"Sure thing!"
I slowly walk out of the room.
"F*ck off," I heard that... Is that Ethan?
Then suddenly he walked past me. Oh, it's him for sure. I mean, who's not gonna be irritated with that noise?
He stopped... In front of me. Huh? What's happening, did I do something wrong?
"Never be friends with that Lucas, I warned you," Ethan said then walked away.
