Using my lightning speed ability of lightning swift.
I’m able to climb the wall. High up in the wall. I came to search for Elizabeth's location.
I run on the top of the wall.
Where are you Elizabeth?
Looking at the surrounding the whole city is in danger. From my vision high up from the wall. I can see the destruction the monster doing in the whole city.
I turned my head up to the black hole where the monsters came from.
That black hole is only covering the inside part of the city. There is a high chance of the monster not reaching Elizabeth's location.
I should better hurry up and search for her.
Turning my head down to the outside of the city. I noticed a moving object from the green land on the ground.
“Elizabeth!”
Seems like Elizabeth is still unconscious about what's happening in the city and cheerful searching for a four-leaf clover.
As I turned my glance on her with a smile.
Behind me, a giant loom of shadow passed by at high speed. It then crushed to the near area where Elizabeth is searching for clovers.
Elizabeth was shocked and turned her face behind her.
A giant black shadow creature with two horns and bat-like wings. Its fangs were sharp and its eyes were b****y red.
Just staring from the demonic face of the monster makes Elizabeth shiver and froze up. With fear she wasn’t able to do anything to save herself from the danger she’s having right now.
She shook her head in disbelief and shed tears.
“M-Monster?”
“Grooooooooooooowl!”
The demonic monster screams an ear-piercing cry. The demon charge and get Elizabeth with its giant hand and throw her up in the sky.
The monster flies and opens its mouth to swallow Elizabeth’s entire body.
“Somebody! Help me!”
Elizabeth screamed before she fell to the giant mouth of the monster.
Lightning stroke lined in the air.
Lightning swift!
Using lightning-swift I was able to catch Elizabeth before the monster was able to eat her.
“Are you okay Elizabeth?”
“Laura?”
We landed in the nearby lake and swim to the side.
the monster is still persistent and chasing ys by flying in the sky.
“Elizabeth hide for now… I’m going to take care of this.”
I said and made a sword stance. At the moment, the monster goes into my attacking zone. I swing my sword and slashed its neck.
That should be fine now. I cut don its neck.
“?!”
The monster is still fine and its wound was regenerating. It then opens its mouth and charges magical power within.
With a forceful blow, it breathes flames that rents the ground.
“Wind Skill: Wind Wall!”
By creating a wall of wind I was able to protect myself from the fire blast.
The monster flies and charges through me. It snatched me from the ground and fly up to the sky.
I struggle and fight.
I keep on attacking with my sword on its sturdy skin. My sword is piercing through but it's not affecting the monster very much because of its regeneration ability.
From high altitude. It stopped and then throws my body down to the lake.
The impact was too strong it made the whole lake make a fountain-like effect. The water from the lake rushed to the land. Elizabeth runs as fast as she can to a safe zone.
From the air. The monster breath another fire blast and divided the lake with it.
I was able to survive by making myself fly using a tornado torrent.
“This monster is no ordinary monster… It's like have its own intelligence.”
But I can’t just give up in this battle.
This monster needs to be killed or else many people will die.
Suddenly, I remember a monster in Monstroke city. I gritted my teeth.
These monsters are different from those monsters. Those monsters don’ want to hurt people. Meanwhile, this monster wants to kill people.
With such obvious difference. I will make my decision.
“Lightning swift!”
My body moves in lightning-fast speed to the monster's body. I slashed its body. I move my body quickly from the air and deliver lightning-swift in different directions.
“Hundred s***h Lightning swift!”
Its blood gush out and tainted the whole lake red. Almost all of its body was torn apart and only its beating heart was left.
Did I finish it off?
The heart has a face and it smiled cruelly. From its heart it regenerated flesh. In few seconds its body was back to normal.
By using my hundred slashed lightning swift. I already used lots of my magic. My body is aching and my head is getting dizzy.
From the sky, the monster dives down and opened its mouth. It swallowed my entire body.
In my current place, there is nothing but darkness and blood-like liquid can be seen.
I saw soaked with blood inside the monster's stomach in any moment I will dissolve into nothingness.
I was in despair and disbelief.
“Am I going to die here? Is this the end of my adventure? No no no no no! This is not the end of my adventure. I’m not going to let this be the end of my adventure.”
There are lots of things I wanted to do in this world. This can’t be the end of my adventure.
My body made a faint glow and my hair change its color to white. With my white sword in my hand, I cut down its stomach releasing me from the inside.
Afterward, I grabbed its head and crushed it with my own hands.
“RRRaaaawl!” The monster cried in pain and after that whole body of the monster breaks apart like dry soil and turned into dust disappearing into nothingness.
From the sky, I feel down.
In front of Elizabeth.
“L-Laura?”
“Elizabeth? You're safe now. It's fine now.”
Suddenly rock is been throw at my head resulting in my bleeding.
“Yore not Laura?! You're a monster… Just like how the book describes it. A white-haired demon with a pure white sword. You're a demon! A demon! A monster Monster!”
Elizabeth throws a rock on Laura to brush her off from her sight.
“Elizabeth… I’m not a monster… I’m Laura... You can read the human mind, right? Can’t you tell that I’m Laura? You're my friend right… What are you doing?”
“I have no such friend… I don’t have a monster friend… Monsters are humanity's enemy! If you're my friend then kill yourself! Kill yourself for the greater good of humanity!”
“What are you saying?”
A group of knights and adventurers come to rescue Elizabeth from the city
Looking above the sky, the hole already faded away.
“Princess Elizabeth! Are you safe?”
“What is this thing? A monster.”
“She’s definitely a monster.”
“A white-haired one.”
Why are these people looking at me with disgust and fear? Why these people are saying things that I don’t understand?
I tried to explain myself.
“I’m not a monster.”
“Then, how do you explain those horns on your forehead?”
I put my hands on my forehead and notice a pointy bump. Looking reflection on my sword. I saw my head having a horn.
“I don’t know what is this?! Believe me, I’m not a monster!”
“No need to talked we need to kill you before you grow up and kill all of us.”
The knights and adventurers surrounded me.
From the sky riding a dragon.
A cat-eared woman falls right in front of me.
Master Karyll?
“Sorry, but I can’t let you people execute this one. This monster is from the white-haired demon monsters. The one said to be the strongest demon clans. She needs to be examined inside the kingdom. To find more information about them.”
“Is it really okay to do that?”
“She is a monster what if she eat you?”
Karyll put a sharp glance on the people who said those words.
“Why the heck I’m gonna be eaten by this monster. This monster is still a kid. As a state knight, I can just kill her within seconds.”
Master Karyll bent her body and whispered in my ears.
“I’m sorry for calling you a monster, don’t worry I will make sure your safety.”
Sealing me inside a cage. Master Karyll brings me back to the city with her dragon companion.
While flying inside the cage all I can do is cry and cry.
I can’t believe that Elizabeth rejected me just like that without hearing me out.
“I thought we’re great friends…”
