On the night Vivian discovered she was pregnant with her mate's child, she was accused of murder. Not by an enemy, not by a stranger, but by the family she had sacrificed everything for and trusted.

As the future Luna of the Ravencrest Pack, she thought she had finally belonged somewhere. She thought Alpha Craig Ravencrest would stand by her side no matter what. But she was wrong. When the Alpha Queen was poisoned, all evidence pointed to her.

Before the entire kingdom, Craig rejected her, called her a murderer, and watched as she was dragged away to face execution.

But what none of them knew was that she carried a secret.

That she was pregnant with the child of an ancient prophecy.

A child destined to bring down the most feared ruler in werewolf history.

The Tyrant King... Craig Ravencrest's father.

The Heir's Fifth Birthday, His Death
Omniscient POV Ravencrest Pack. One of the oldest packs in werewolf history. A pack feared across kingdoms for producing ruthless, bloodthirsty, and merciless Alphas. For centuries, the Ravencrest name had commanded respect, obedience, and terror. Though it was not the most powerful pack, everyone feared the pack the most. The Ravencrest warriors were unmatched, their territory was wide, and their enemies always ended up dining with the dead. Yet despite their power, the Ravencrest bloodline carried a dark secret. A curse. A curse so old that no one remembered who had cast it, and that had haunted every generation of Ravencrests. And what was the curse? That each Ravencrest son was destined to have only one child—one heir, one Alpha, one hope. For generations, the curse had remained unbroken. That should have been Alpha Liam Ravencrest and his Luna, Violetta's fate as well. But unfortunately, fate had other plans. The couple had lost their only child shortly after birth. The tragedy nearly destroyed them, and for ten long years, they searched for a way to conceive again. They sought the guidance of healers, traveled to sacred temples, offered sacrifices to the Moon Goddess, and prayed like they had never done before. Years passed with no answer, and the couple’s hope slowly began turning into despair. Many believed the Ravencrest bloodline would end with Alpha Liam. But when they had almost given up, a miracle happened. Luna Violetta conceived again. The news spread across the werewolf kingdoms like wildfire. The Ravencrest pack celebrated, and even the neighboring Alphas sent gifts and congratulations. Nine months later, Craig Ravencrest was born. Their heir, their miracle, and the future of Ravencrest bloodline finally arrived. From the moment he arrived in the world, he became the center of his parents' universe. They treated him like a fragile egg that could c***k at the slightest touch. Every fever Craig had was a reminder of how Violetta had lost her first son, making fear grip her heart tightly. A maid was once killed just because she mistakenly spilled hot tea on Craig. To everyone, his parents were doing too much, but only they knew what they did before they had him. And so, Craig grew up surrounded by love, protection, and getting more attention than any child could ever ask for. Today was his fifth birthday. A day that was meant to be filled with joy and celebration. The Ravencrest Pack had never looked more magnificent. Or maybe it had. During Craig’s naming ceremony. The entire Ravencrest Pack had been preparing for the event for weeks. The Alpha Mansion was decorated with golden banners embroidered with the Ravencrest crest. Fresh flowers lined up the pathways leading to the grand hall, while musicians filled the air with cheerful melodies. Dignitaries had arrived from every corner of the werewolf kingdoms, wanting to witness the birthday celebration of the boy who would one day become the next Alpha of Ravencrest. Inside the grand hall, laughter echoed from every corner. Servants moved between guests, serving expensive wine and delicacies. The atmosphere was lively, festive, and perfect. At the center of the hall, stood Alpha Liam Ravencrest—tall, intimidating, and powerful. That night, there was none of the usual coldness in his eyes. He was smiling brightly like he had won the trophy no one in the world had ever won. Beside him stood his wife, Luna Violetta Ravencrest, whose eyes never left the little boy standing near the gigantic birthday cake. Craig Ravencrest—their miracle child. "He's growing too fast," Violetta said softly, nudging her husband. Alpha Liam’s gaze drifted toward his son. Craig stood in the middle, laughing heartily with other children surrounding him. A small smile curved up Alpha Liam’s eyes upon hearing Craig’s laughter echoed through the hall. "He sure is. He'll be Alpha before we know it.” Luna Violetta let out a chuckle as she turned to face her husband fully. “And yet, you’re still treating him like a baby,” she teased. “Well, he is. And he always will be, no matter how tall he becomes." Violetta rolled her eyes, before playfully hitting her husband’s chest. Though Alpha Liam was known to be strict and cruel, he was actually a sweet and loving husband to his wife. Around them, guests laughed and toasted to the young heir's future. But no one noticed the elderly woman standing quietly near the far end of the ballroom, with a hood drawn over her head. Her silver eyes remained fixed on Craig, like she was watching and observing him. “Everyone,” the MC’s voice came through the speaker, instantly drawing the attention of every guest present. A wide smile spread across his face as he gestured toward the center of the room. "It is finally time for the boy of the hour to cut his cake!" A thunderous clap dominated the room. The musicians stopped playing their instruments, while the servants stepped aside. All eyes turned toward the tall five-tier birthday cake in the middle of the hall. "Young Alpha Craig Ravencrest, please come forward!" The MC beckoned. Craig's face lit up immediately and without hesitation, he darted toward the cake, his laughter ringing through the hall. "There he goes," Violetta said fondly, her eyes never leaving her little boy’s body. “He’s always in a hurry. Just like his mother,” Alpha Liam teased, chuckling heartily. “I heard that," Violetta said, feigning annoyance, before bursting into laughter as soon as Alpha Liam stuck out his tongue mockingly. Their playful exchange drew another round of laughter from the guests. Craig finally reached the cake and turned to face the crowd. He was dressed in a miniature black suit embroidered with silver threads, and he looked every bit like the future Alpha of Ravencrest. The guests could not stop praising him. "Look at him." "He already has an Alpha's presence." "The boy will become a great ruler like his father someday." "Without a doubt." The compliments pleased Liam immensely, and he raised his shoulders proudly, adjusting his crown. Meanwhile, at the far end of the hall, the hooded elderly woman remained motionless. Elder Healer Seraphina—that was the elderly woman’s name. She was the oldest healer in the kingdom. The longer she stared at Craig, the more the crease between her brows deepened. Something wasn’t right. She could feel it. She could feel a strange energy lingering around Craig. Though it was faint and almost undetectable, she could still feel it. “Is it time already?” she whispered underneath her breath, her eyes widening as though she had realized something terrifying. For the first time in many years, unease settled heavily in her heart. Slowly, she tightened her grip around the wooden staff in her hand. "No..." she whispered under her breath, trying to make her way through the crowd to where Craig was. "This can't be." Back at the center of the hall, completely unaware of the danger looming over him, Craig grinned as a servant handed him a silver knife. The crowd immediately began to count down. “Five.” “Four.” “Three.” Liam wrapped an arm around Violetta's waist as they watched proudly. “Two.” “One.” The hall erupted into cheers. Craig smiled brightly, reaching for the cake. Then suddenly... he froze midway. A sharp pain tore through his chest, and the smile vanished from his face. His face went pale, and his lips parted open, stretching his hand forward as though he was trying to say something. Then, clang. The knife slipped from his fingers, the metallic sound echoing through the hall. The cheers died instantly and confusion spread across the guests’ faces. Craig’s body swayed dangerously, his breathing became shallow. His eyes rolled backward, and before anyone could react, the young heir collapsed. “Craig!” Alpha Liam’s voice sliced through the air, as he rushed forward.
