31 Paul was seated on a picnic mat in the park in front of their old home, where Wendy and the children now lived. Lauren handed him a bread roll. “Happy Father’s Day, Dad.” “Thanks, honey.” He looked at the roll. “Have you been baking?” Lauren flushed. “Baking is a nice break from studying.” “Bet your brother doesn’t mind,” Paul gave Ben a wink. “Nope, and she makes enough for me to share.
