My eyes close in defeat as I exhale all the air from my body. Resting my entire weight against the door aware that my feet would fail me any time soon. I am as shaken as Rain barely able to keep myself together.
“Someone knows.” I lowly repeat the words under my breath. The revelation of this notion foreign and unbelievable as my mind attempts to rapidly process the new news, unable to settle down. Someone had discovered about Rain and I and is threatening what we have. Making threats to report us to the school’s head.
