Wander with Do

During the trip, everyone’s mind and body were sleepy. While I am listening to the music of “Somewhere only we know” by Keane, I smile on how awkward the position of my comrades is just to make themselves comfortable of napping. Many of them were bending their head over to each other, exchanging their sit on the ground and some were trying to balance their head by not swinging around. Sometimes I awake to look if we were almost there to our destination.

“ Can I lay my head on your shoulder?” I ask my classmate beside me and she said “Sure, just don’t be heavy. Just kidding. Go on.”, I smile and lay my head on her to sleep. I was almost asleep but due to a disturbing noise of laughing and singing, my eyes awakened. They are cracking up because their singing isn’t even match on the keynote but as long as they're happy, who cares about it? Eventually, I decided to synch with them and burst into laughter because of my clown classmates. I just realized, I still don’t know my classmates thoroughly. Perhaps on this field trip, we might recognize each other contrarily.

The two hours of traveling from our university is currently ended for a while here at fast food restaurant. “Guys, wake up! Whoever wants to buy a portion of food at Jollibee must go inside.” said my classmate. We stopover to buy meals for those who wanted to. I choose not to buy because firstly couldn’t afford it, second I might vomit on the trip, and third must save money for souvenirs or any exhibition. Well, I’m not alone who couldn’t be able to join the purchasing. “Nice, are you not hungry?” asked my classmate, “Not yet, I have my food in my bag. Also, I already ate breakfast.” I answered. “ Oh, okay. Well, the price of food there is very expensive, not compared to before. So it's very advantageous if you bring your food from home. It is much more economical.” my classmate responded. I agree with it. Especially during a pandemic, the wares are getting high due to the loss of income during the crisis. However, there are still a classmate that generous. This lass sharing her French fries with everyone. So I grab a chance to taste how salty the fries are. It’s salty yet enjoyable, so I get one more of it. May this girl bless her entire journey today’s trip. Now, after those people buy there foods, we’re moving forward on the trip because we still have an hours to travel after being there to our destination. So, back to sitting and plugging in again on my ears the earphones and play my favorite song titled “Like I loved you” by Brett Young. Time to kick it. BTW, Thanks for the fries!
