Woopsie! I almost slipped myself on the soil. God! Guide me on every step I make because it’s kind of slippery. The routes is gravewards and I have a phobia on highs that can make myself think of every mistakes I did years ago. “Please don’t be on a rush! We have to be cautious of every step we made.” I told my comrades, “Where is the other hole that can plant this tree I holding?” ask my classmate, “ They said there’s vacancy over there” someone replied. I go over there too on place they’re saying and unfortunately all of it were already put a plant. So, I decided to dig a hole for my plant, I’m tired of waiting and finding for nothing, especially the sun is shining and burning my skin. After a decade of digging, finally there’s a hole that perfect to plant myself, my tree rather. “Nice!” called my classmate who assign to photograph every moment of activities, by the way he’s “Bagwis” under our university. So basically every event, he was there to capture memories, so I guess it’s a privilege to be his classmate. He called me to look at his camera for recollection of hardship. Obviously, I look haggard there on his Dslr camera and who cares, as long as I have proven myself that I did something hardship in this world. Next of activity after planting tree or what people here at lake sebu called “Tree growing” is we proceed to give flyers on people who must have to be aware of every issue on this place. Inside the flyer it will tackle about objective on how you can basically help environment in a simple ways. Here at lake sebu their resources comes from their lake, the lake was surrounded by fish name “Tilapia”. The problem facing on lake are fish poisoning and over fishing causes by wrong process of fishing, using poisonous prey and irresponsible human waste. It also put on the flyers on how you’ll prevent it. First, Planting trees and make it grow, for them to use it as a resources of fruits and disaster barriers. Secondly, Be responsible on segregating human waste which are recyclable, biodegradable, and non-biodegradable. Lastly, being aware on how to correctly taking care the lake sebu. Because, Lake Sebu is one of Philippines most important watersheds, and we must protect it. Oh! Gracious grace! The hardship was done finally. After finishing planting trees, giving flyers and picking trash. We’re here again at Balai Lake View Resort to celebrate of being a good human today on this earth, and I can finally enjoy eating food to gain the energy I deserve after losing it on activities. The menu they prepared for us for lunch was fried tilapia, rice, pineapple, a vegetable dish, and soft drinks. We are very blessed to have it on our table to ease hungriness and tiredness. While eating, I'm still mesmerized by the beauty of the lake and the place we’re going to stay for two days and one night. It is warm and comfortable for me because except for being here at lake sebu, there’s a pool, a videoke for us to enjoy singing, a place that has chairs and a table to unwind and to see better the angle of6 lake, and the aesthetics surrounded on this resort. I can say, it is perfect for soul searching or having a time for yourself.
