My Long Lost Family

I won't update until after the first weekend of January! So here ya go! Enjoy .............................................................. "I know you're awake. Let's not make this any harder than it needs to be." I slowly open my eyes. There is no point in trying to fight him if I'm already tied up. Plus, without studying your opponent, there is no point in fighting. I try to turn my body and lift myself with my elbow. He grabs me by the arms, lifts me out of the trunk, and sets me on the ground. I look around and take in my surroundings. I'm in an abandoned warehouse. Debris everywhere, and broken windows. Large pillars that hold the building up. I could tell we were above the ground floor. I wonder how he got the car up here... "Take a seat." He says motioning towards the only chair in the room that is on all four legs and under a single light. "Umm, in case you haven't noticed, my feet are tied and I can't walk." I say hoping he will untie at least my feet. "Then hop." He replies with a smug grin on his face. I roll my eyes and start to shuffle towards the chair. Failing, I fall on my side. He stands over me and sighs. "You did that on purpose." "No I didn't. You said to hop over to the chair. I, however, am not a bunny. I do not hop." I say pretty satisfied with my remark. He let's put an exaggerated sigh and picks me up off the floor. He walks over to the chair and sits me down. "What do you want with me?" I ask realizing how cliche this really is. "There is something that you have.... Let's just say that it rightfully belongs to me." He turns and grabs something out of his car. "Do you--" "Yes. I realize who you are. I am aware of your... Special skills. I know you could've probably beat me to a pulp right now had you not been tied up. But, I also have special skills that I have perfected over time. I also have certain connections that will make your life a living hell if you lay a finger on me. You have something that belongs to me, and I tend to get it back one way or another." He places a piece of paper on my lap. "What's this?" I ask scoffing at the fact that he kidn*pped me for a little piece of paper. "Read it." He says pointing to the paper. I narrow my eyes at him in suspicion. "Just read the fudging paper." He says gearing red in the face. I roll my eyes and start to read. It was the will that my grandmother wrote while she was on her death bed. She didn't leave anything to my douchebag of a father because she knew that he abused me. So she left everything she owned to me. My father tried to get some things back, but the police and her lawyer wouldn't let him. Nothing on the paper interested me except for the few words that caught my eye. My grandson, William Baker, will inherit half of my life salary, while the other half will go to the owner of the rest. "Who is William B--" I stop mid sentence realizing who my kidnapper is. "Y-you're my cousin?" I gape at him. How come nobody told me? "I want my share. What is rightfully mine." He says handing me a pen and another piece of paper. "Why didn't you just come up to me and ask? I would've given everything that belongs to you back." I ask confused to why he would go to this extent as to kidnap me. Before he responds, another light comes on at the other end of the warehouse. I look over to see another figure slumped over in a chair. He gets up and and drags the chair to my left. I take in the figures appearance. Rylee? "Rylee! Rylee wake up! Oh my god." Tears form in my eyes as I notice bruises on her arms. She groans and moves her head a little. "What the hell does she have to do with any if this?!" I ask turning my focus back to William. "She doesn't have anything to do with what is going on between me and you, but she does have something to do with all my accounts being hacked and all my information being exposed." He said looking at her. I then remember back when I first saw William at my first match. The hooded figure. I told Rylee about him, and I asked her to find out more information about him. "So why did you kidnap her?" I ask as my blood fills with anger. "Because there are some things about me that I would like to remain a secret. Now, if you both want to make it out of here alive, you will sign that document in front of you." He says motioning towards the paper on my lap. I look down at the paper. "What is it?" I ask skimming over the paper. "It's a document pledging that you will peacefully hand over the money to me in cash by next Friday. If not, you will forfeit boxing." "How much money must I give you?" "You don't seem to mind that I'm taking your money." He says with a smirk. "That's because it obviously states in the will that the money doesn't rightfully belong to me. Something you fail to realize about me, is that if something belongs to someone else, I won't hesitate to give it back. I'm not someone who thrives based on money. I'm also not someone who will kidnap or murder someone over money." I say with a glare. He nods. "Sign the paper then." I give him a small snicker and shake my head. "Not until...
