"Not until you untie her and promise to let us go in peace." I demand with more confidence than intended.
He smirks. "Alright." He moves behind Rylee, who is still in the 'halfway between conscious and unconscious' phase. He bends down and unties her feet and hands.
He picks her up and walks her in front of me. My eyes widen from what he pulls out of his waistband. A g*n.
I'm not usually afraid of guns, but when they're threatening the life of the people I care for, they absolutely terrify me.
He puts the g*n to her temple.
"Now, sign the god damn papers before I paint the walls red." He threatens as the evil gleam in his eyes show even more.
I didn't want him to see how scared I really was for Rylee, so I just roll my eyes and scribble down my signature on the paper. I throw the paper as far as I can behind me.
"Let her go, and I won't hurt you." I glare at him as he scoffs at me.
"Hurt me?" He scoffed. "Are we forgetting who's really in charge here?" He said as he waved his g*n around.
I smirked. "I forgot, please remind me."
His face turned red in rage as he let Rylee go, causing her to drop to the floor. Oh hell nah.
He stomped toward me, and grabbed by my neck.
"If you keep making your sarcastic remarks, I'll be forced to do something I don't want to." He said in a deadly whisper.
I took my free hand, and put it on his shoulder right below his neck. He looked at me with a surprised expression but quickly masked it with anger.
I tightly squeezed the muscle, and he let go of my neck as he squirmed beneath my grasp.
"Take your damn papers and get out of here before I am forced to do something I don't want to." I mimicked him.
He laughed. "You are still tied up in a chair. You can't do sh!t to me."
"Wanna bet?" I asked, challenging him only to make him more angry.
If there is one important thing that I learned from boxing, you never ever act on anger. When you act on anger, you don't pay attention to what your opponent is doing. Thus making anger a dangerous thing when your in the ring. (A/N: I totally rhymed and I didn't mean to. I'm on fire baby!!)
He knocked my hand away from his shoulder, and walked back to Rylee. He picked her up and put her back in her chair.
Curiosity got the better of me, so I had to ask. "If you are my cousin, why are you doing this to me?"
"Well, as I have already stated, I want my money from you. I have also never met you before, so doing something like this wouldn't affect me at all."
"Your name is William?"
"Yes."
"Well, William, I may have been born at night, but I sure as hell wasn't born last night. You don't just want that money, you need it. What for?"
"That is none of your business." He spat at me.
"Yes it is. I signed the damn papers, so it is my business."
He sighed. "Good point. Well, let's just say that I am involved with certain people that love their money too."
I rolled my eyes. Of course someone like him would get involved with people like that.
Feeling disappointed that he would waste his money like that, I shut my eyes and took a deep breath.
"I'm only going to warn you one last time. Get. Out." I said as I glared at William.
He let out a laugh that sounded murderous. "You forget yet again. You are tied up, and I have a gun."
I laugh at him in return. "You are clearly blind."
With that, I lunged at him with all my force, and threw a jab to his lower jaw. His head snapped to the left, and he stumbled back in shock.
"H-how did you get out of the ropes?" He asked with fear dripping from his voice.
"Not so tough now that I'm free? Well, while you weren't looking, I used my free hand to untie my other hand. Once they were free, I untied my feet." I responded with a little humor in my tone. Watching him beg will make my day.
I kicked his knee, sending him to the floor.
"I'm gonna give you 3 seconds before I break every bone in your body."
He looked at me with wide eyes. He snapped his head over to his right, and I followed his gaze. The g*n was laying right next to Rylee. He lunged for it, but I kicked his arm away right before he grabbed it.
"Ah. Ah. We don't want to be playing dirty now." I said as I picked up the g*n, took out all the bullets, and threw the g*n across the room along with all of the ammo.
His face grew pale, and he shakily got up to his feet. He slowly limped backwards.
"Okay. Okay. I'm leaving." He said as he put his hands up in an effort to try and clam me down.
"Good. You now have 2 seconds to get out of here. I want to hear your car drive away. If I don't hear it, I will personally track you down and beat you to a pulp, and I don't care if I get kicked out of the championship." I said as I looked straight into his eyes so he knew that I wasn't joking.
He only nodded in fear as he turned around and practically darted out of the building. A few seconds later, I heard a door open and close, and then I heard a car driving away.
I sighed in relief. Now I just have to get Rylee out of here.
"Rylee? Rylee, wake up. I really don't want to carry you."
She groaned and lifted her head up. "Rose? Is that you? Oh please tell me it's you. I really don't like that asshole. He punched me in the face twice." She said as she propped herself up on her elbow.
"Yes, Rylee, it's me. What all did he do to you?" I asked as I helped her to her feet. She couldn't stand on her own, so I draped her arm over my shoulder, and started to walk out.
"He just told me to never research things that I have no business in. He gripped my arms so hard that he left bruises. I totally would have socked him in the face had I not been so weak, unlike you. All I had were my sarcastic remarks, so he got pissed and punched me in the face. That was the first time. The second time, I refused to eat his food because it tasted like sh!t. Unlike your food, your food is heavenly. But anyway, he punched me in the face and told me to eat." She explained as she tried to walk by herself.
I let out a little chuckle. "I think you missed me. You mention me like twice."
"Of course I missed you. I knew you would find me sooner or later, I was only there for a few weeks. He didn't really pay attention to me unless it was dinner time. I asked him why he kidn*pped me, but he said that you would explain that later. He also didn't really treat me like I thought he would. I was free to anything in the house, and I even had my own bedroom."
My eyes shot up in surprise. "He treated you pretty decent then."
"Yeah. He wasn't too terrible. He was gone most of the time. I would have tried to escape, but he kept bodyguards at every possible exit."
Typical.
When we got outside, I didn't recognize anything. I tried to find my phone, but remembered that William probably had it.
I sighed. "Well, I really hope you have your phone, because I have no idea where we are."
Rylee looked up from the ground. "Where are we?"
I scoffed. "I just said I didn't know."
"Shut up, and no. He got rid of my phone the first time I stepped into his house....... Oh! I have one of those throw away phones!" She reached in her back pocket and got it out.
"I never remember anybody's number, so he got me a throw away phone." She said as she handed me the phone.
The only person that I could think of to call was.... I hate to say this,...... Zac.
